For the bug http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/403-error-when-logging-in-by-facebook-r5685/#comment-157531 Temp fix is - Temporarily fixed this by removing share_item from /system/Login/Facebook.php. However this is not allowed in IPS cloud communities... Not sure when the next version will be released.. and our members cannot sign in using fb untill the new version is released... On cloud if one edites teh file - it opens into absurd characters.... On my own host I am able to edit Thanks in advance

We recently moved our boards over from Fusion, which used BB Code. Now, lots of that BB Code showing up raw in the posts that were moved. For instance: [color:blue] Is there a good way to replace this code in these existing posts?

Hi all, hoping some one can help. When I place a responsive Google ad in the "just above the page footer" position, it messes up the page. Specifically, it widens everything below the menu bar. Interestingly, this occurs in IE but not in Chrome. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. --Casey

I want to reduce the number of Status Updates that show in the Status Update sidebar block. I would prefer to show three. I remember when I ran an IPB board before, I found a way to do this from a skinner, but that skinner is no longer doing anything with IPB. I was wondering if anybody has found a way to do this or not. Thanks

I attached an image with an error screen I get with dev pro when developing. Is this the only error screen that shows? It really sucks not knowing the specific type of error it is. If i refresh the page, I see for a slight second another error page show with actual info then this one covers it up. Why does this error page come up for almost any error?

Hi guys, I'm trying to do a smooth transition to IPS Suite, and something I'm having difficulty figuring out is how to get my sidebar to show an article's image thumbnail rather than the author's avatar. I can see that this code generates the avatar: {template="userPhoto" group="global" app="core" params="$record->author(), 'tiny'"} I assume that I can tweak those attributes to get the image I want, however unlike IP.Board 3.4 I can't see a convenient list of available tokens/variables/fields anywhere. Google really isn't very helpful with IPS Suite (yet), so I'm hoping somebody has a pointer here.

First offf, great idea making this section I've got the following code to pull member data to an external website: global $member; require_once($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/forums/init.php'); \IPS\Session\Front::i(); $member = \IPS\Member::loggedIn(); And it works fine. print_r($member); outputs a lot of useful information. However, I can't seem to find the information for custom profile fields. Where is this located, and how do you pull it?

Upgraded today to the latest 4.0.5.1 and Reputation badges are not displaying. I tried uploading new ones, but they still don't appear. Clicking on the image to view it in a new window brings up the error message 404 Error File Not Found.

Hi, I've upgraded from 3 to 4 and I love the new board, but all my old posts have double spaced paragraphs and images appear as thumbnails which download to your computer if you click them. Is there a tool you can run to sort this out? I'd like all the double spaces removed and the images to appear correctly in posts upgraded from 3. All new posts and uploaded images appear correctly.

Hello guys, so today i reinstalled IPB 4 And just changed DB to my backup (in conf_global ) Now i load the page and no CSS see www.china-devices.com but when you go to www.china-devices.com/admin/upgrade there is css !! What is the problem? permissions ? im running it on plesk on my dedicated and even made a new webspace :S

I just installed IPB 4 as an upgrade I uploaded the htaccess file It seemed to work ok and then suddenly the pages started dropping the CSS Its a mess now... http://rimbitforum.com/ Same in the admin section What to do?

Just upgraded to 3.4.8 tonight and there was also an update for Chat included. Currently I have 1.4.0 installed, but it's showing the most current as 1.4.4. If I run the upgrader with Chat selected it fails as soon as I click next. I was able to get the board to install fine by unselecting chat, but now I'm stuck on the upgrade screen every time I want to go to my admin CP. No one uses chat in the community so if I just have to uninstall it to get out of the upgrade loop that's fine. Anyone have any ideas?
