Run manual cron issue

Hi,

when try to run manualy cron(Background Processes ) i get this message after few minutes

preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: regular expression is too large at offse

any help welcome

Also, i have upgrade php from 5.3 to 5.4 and same issue
