hello, After I upgraded to the latest updated 4.0.9.2, loging into ACP and trying to navigate and update or edit things is EXTREMELY slow sadly this also effected my other website that runs on WordPress x.x !! I tried to use default and resulted in the same issue cleared cache nothing helped ( BUT when u open the site normal it opens fast . My IPS started adding port :81 to it's address. It looks like that: http://star-citizen.com.pl:81/forum/ Also users complain about squares being shown inside icons. These prevent forums from being marked as read when icon is clicked. Has anyone seen something like that or it requires support action? This definitely isn't server related as Wordpress or test IPS install didn't generate such problems.

Hi We have an issue : Everything's working fine : admincp & forum But if we disable the Designers mode, then the forum is showing a blank page no error message, nothing more than a blank page We sent a ticket and gave access to the site / admin & logs to the support but they don't seem to get the issue Anybody got an idea about this ? Is it me, or is selective quoting not available in IPS4? You cannot mark a section and hit quote, when you do, you get the entire message and have to manually remove the lines from the quote...really?

Playing with a 'practice' 348 → 409 conversion and wondering how to reconstruct databases that used a lot of attachments. So far as I know I did not create many (if any) custom blocks or templates and mostly just used ip.content in the simplest possible ways -- typically a wrapper page with a single reference to pull in the relevant database. So far I've been deleting the existing ".html" pages (to disassociate the db from the page) and creating a new Page Builder page, then adding a database block and selecting the relevant db. Hey all, I successfully converted my WBB3.1 board via IPB 3.4.8 to IP Community Suite 4 but all the BBCodes and attachments are broken. Instead of the proper formatted posts with interpreted BBCodes and attachments it only shows them as code. Is there any automated way to fix this? My board has ~10.000 posts so it needs to be automated. Example-Screen as attachment.

I am running IP.Board 3.4.8 & want to upgrade to 4.0.9.2 on my current board I did the thing where you rename the admin folder. when upgrading do I load the contents of 4.0.9.2 admin folder to my renamed one, or do I have to first do the upgrade without upsetting the structure? Regards Lee

I am currently using IP.Board 3.4.8 & am about to upgrade to 4.0.9.2 I am using the (ps34) custom sidebar hook which is quite important as I have buttons to donate to charity with in it on my side. this doesn't seem to be available in 4.0 not having used it yet, can I replicate a custom sidebar in the new version? What is the correct way to transfer the downloads directory when upgrading from v3 to v4? I renamed my old 3.4 IPB folder to /content2/, and then uploaded the v4 files to /content/ (the old location of the software). Then I upgraded the database from 3.4 to 4. Then I copied the downloads folder recursively from /content2/downloads/ to /content/downloads/. Then I chowned the files and folders in /content/downloads/ to the account owner. Is there anything else I am supposed to do? When I click on the download links I get file not found errors. Do I have to wait for the file downloads to be rebuilt by the cron, or did I do something wrong here?

I just spent a couple of hours inputting close to 4 pages of Acronyms we use for songs and other things. What used to happen when we used the bad word filter to do this was that if you typed the acronym the long version with the words would appear. For example, if you typed ICNAFM it would appear in the post as "I Could Not Ask For More". Does the acronym filter do that or am I missing a step I need to take? They are all there yet nothing happens when you type it in. Thanks for any help!
