As a number field you cannot use non numeric characters such as , or . How do I format the number field so I can enter 2.50 or 25.00 or 25,000.00 etc not worried about the £sign as I have put that in the display option Or am I better using text box and let members sort it out

So I've followed these instructions: https://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/administration/pages/using-pages-under-your-community-root-r100/ and have a couple of questions. When you set the toggle in 'pages > advanced settings' it no longer prompts you to download a htaccess file. is this still needed? Although the index page at www.mysite.com is working correctly the 'home' link in the breadcrumbs still goes to www.mysite.com/forums/. Is there a way to reset this to www.mysite.com? Thanks

The Remove Orphaned Files task is not working on the installation using IPS 4.0.13.1 The file count stays the same while the background task seem to be running so it's not removing anything in the uploads folder. There are no new errors that have been logged in the logs folder, and no queue task log entries. The file count is about 77.000 but should be about 40.000 Do you know if this is normal and will progress? I've been waiting to do this since June when the remove task removed almost all the files. I created backup off the db and the files which took long time to run. Now I have to restore from backup just to make sure that everything is OK, a…

Time to cleanup the root directory. A long time ago I upgraded from 2.3.6 to 3.0 and I think there are some folders left from 2.3.6 that should be safe to remove by now. Any pointers on which folders can be safe to remove?

Hello, I would like to make all my forum topic URLs from http://forum.example.com/topic/123-hellow-world/ to http://forum.example.com/teema/123-hello-world/ but don't want to frighten Google so would like to redirect 301 those to a new URL. I have searched from Google the right htaccess code but non of them work. Can somebody help me out?

Hi All, Is there a way to create sub-calendars? What I mean by this is that I want to create similar functionality that wee see with the "All Calendars" view, but instead of showing all calendars, I want to show specific calendars. Why? Think of a sports league calendar with a ton of games and then being able to narrow down to the team specific calendar. Showing all games from all teams in all leagues using the "All Calendars"-view is too big of a view and I want to narrow it down. I appreciate any ideas you might have around this! Thanks!

Hi, I recently downloaded the '4.0.13.1'-version of the IPS Community Suite. I've copied the files to my ftp-server. During install I encounter a problem. After the 'Administrator Account'-step, I just get an empy screen. Nothing more than whitespace. Because it's a test version I've used my license key with '-TESTINSTALL' behind it. And I try to install in a subdirectory 'Test'. So like www.domain.com/Test. Does someone know what I'm doing wrong?

How can I split a topic with around 200 replies more or less in the middle? So I will end with 2 topics of more or less 100 replies. The only option I have found when I select the post in the middle (the one it will be the first post in the new topic) it just move out of the topic this message, but the others until the end of the topic

I just can't figure out why Commerce/Pay Pal doesn't work on my other sites. I have looked through PP and can't see anything that says I can't use my account with more than one site. Works on one site, but no others. It just says "There was an error processing the payment. Please try a different payment method or contact us for assistance. "

I upgraded my site a couple of weeks ago. For the most part the upgrade went well. Unfortunately, for some reason member post counts across the board were somehow reduced greatly. Not sure by how much but it looks like around 40%. Aside from restoring my old site, is there any way to boost the post counts of every member by some percentage? Personally, I don't care, but as you can imagine there are some members that this is a big deal.

I just recently upgraded my board to 4.0 and it for some reason my uploads are still pointed to my dev directory. Instead of avatars/images pointed to www.xxx.com/ it's pointed to www.xxx.com/dev How do I change the upload directory in 4.0 ? PS: This is also effecting my ACP

I just installed 4.0.13.1 on my test site. I was running 3.4.8 and we had an existing announcement. The existing announcement showed up fine after the upgrade. I deleted it and now I want to create a new announcement, but the announcement edit box doesn't display. The only options I have are the media insertion options at the bottom. Here's a screenshot of the announcement dialog: Is this a bug in 4.0.13.1 or have I configured things incorrectly? I followed the instructions in the guide here.
