I'm struggling to generate a drop down box on the profile fields. The one I was using on IPB3 had keys so I could do something like: 1=Option 1 a=Option 2 qwerty=Option 3 Then I could use a given {key} like letters and numbers to link an image to the {content} which would be the displayed Option. Was this functionality removed or is it just a bit different now? Can someone help me out with this? Perhaps I'm not comprehending the new profile types because this is all I'm seeing: Is there a guide anywhere that explains what these are and what they do?

I did the auto update this AM. Something gave error twice, and then the Admin panel briefly showed jumbled up. I later F5'd and it seemed to be OK for a bit. My members said the forum wasn't showing correctly after the update for them at times. They also reported my search (advanced) was not working, just showing the circle as working in the tab. Well, I and a couple others started to use the search to test it out and then my forum went down. I think it has something to do with the update. Hi, I'm trying to import this RSS Feed into my new IPB4 Forum: http://services.runescape.com/m=news/latest_news.rss But I'm getting an error that says "That is not a valid RSS or Atom feed." What am I doing wrong? I have RSS Feeds enabled under Forum Settings... I did this easily on my old IPB3 forum.

I'm trying to install the plugin Highlight Authors/Usergroups however, I'm receiving what seems to be a permission error. The error callid is 1S111/1 but I cannot find any resources on the value of this error not any other support requests with that particular error. I understand (correct me if wrong) that it is not possible to sort and filter all images from all albums. I'd like to be able to have a gallery homepage with a sortable list of pictures; specifically sorted by most liked in the last X days, or latest images by tag, and so on. If it's not a core feature, would you be able to point me in the right direction to achieve that with a plugin? Is there a plugin I can look into that does a similar thing and I can maybe adapt to my need? Or maybe can you point me to the right hooks? Thanks!

A hook that gives you a custom block to put on the site which shows recent attachments and links to the forum with recent image attachments. I have an example of threads and posts and what the output would be. This is what the block output would be given the thread update and posts above. Sorry for the crude image representations. Is there a way to NOT allow attachments in the descriptions of Album images? Some of my members are uploading the images as attachments to the description area of the image instead of uploading the image... Uggh I also have an issue with really long image titles. Apparently they feel the image title is for long descriptions.

I have installed Donate Sidebar 2.1.3 plugin and I am having problems receiving funds. When someone tries to send me funds they receive the following message: Your recipient is not able to receive funds at this time. Your recipient must first set up his or her account to receive funds. When someone tries to send me money using paypal "send money" option, I can normally receive funds. Any ideas?

The "Event Stream" is OK on Calendar, but I want more. When I select a Calendar, I want it to show ALL events on that calendar for the year. Currently, you have to scroll through the months to view each event. I have a calendar for each championship on my site and users want to click on the appropriate calendar/championship and see a list of all the events in that championship. Is there a way to create a custom view in Calendar?? Thanks Guys.

Hi, The notification mail sent to user contain the full new message. So the user can read all the content in the mail and don't need to visit the website page. Is it possible to show only a teaser of the new content ? Thank you !

I just ran the upgrade tool from my admin cp.. All was going smoothly until reaching step 2, and then this: Declaration of IPS\Content\_Item::hide() should be compatible with IPS\rules_hook_ipsContent::hide(IPS\Member $member = NULL, $reason = NULL) Now my site is down with this: [[Template core/front/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] and I can't access my ADMIN CP at all!! Please help. Hello after testing the upgrade process on our IP.Board 3.4.9 to IPB 4.1.x (latest) I see mixed collations. The UTF8 Converter stated: "The database tables are UTF-8, collations are correct and there is nothing to convert. You can proceed with the upgrade." Does anyone have any experience to adding meta tags for Twitter Cards when it comes to the Pages application? I was looking at the includeMeta template within core->global->global to potential add some form of if statement that if on the pages application, grab the author and various other data that is tied to the current page (ie an article). Any help would be appreciate as I couldn't find much when searching.

I would like to manually trigger rebuilt of all my forum posts. Can advise how ? Reason;. When I upgraded to 4.1.5.2, the YouTube embed feature had a bug resulting in all YouTube posts shown as link . I have upgraded to 4.1.6.1 but it did not rebuild those post .
