I'm testing IPS 4.1.7 and I have a question concerning IP.Gallery and creation of albums by members. In ACP / IP.Gallery / Categories, the categorie "Members album" seems to be correctly configured ("Allow album" is checked and permissions are those by default) But when a member goes to "Gallery" and upload a picture, he only can select a catergory (or sub-category), but I don't see where a member can CREATE an album ? Any help ?

Getting pretty confused since iPboard was upgraded to version 4 a couple;e of days ago. Options like activity and streams, I lost my way a bit. And online guides are short or have broken links, so I’m struggling somewhat ;-) Worse is that I’m working with Safari and Firefox [ on an iMac] and the view of the homepage differs. I would like the logo to be above everything, than under it a bar with on left side “sign in” and “Sign up” and on the right side the words Forums, Calendar, Online Users, Chat and Staff “Home” should be the 1st word, but may stay where it is. Hi After the conversion to IPS 4.1, comments are disabled for gallery photos for some of the member groups. Where in the ACP can I find how to allow comments on gallery photos? I've looked everywhere. Group name > Gallery tab in the ACP - there is nothing there about photo comments.

Since upgrading to IPS4 we've had an issue with some admin permissions. The other members of our "Super Administrators" group don't have access to even moderation features -- only I do. * If you create a new member and set their primary group as "Super Administrators" then there are no problems - it all works as expected and they have full perms to moderate and admin. If you switch the previous "super admins" to another group, e.g. "member") and back again then they still don't gain the correct permissions. I activate the Chat module and give the permission to members but the Chat don't show at all. How can i add the "Chat" to navbar? Also i have 2 pages: a bug tracker and a Tasks. I want to show the BugTracker in the Nav bar to anyone but the "Tasks" module i want to appears only to Staff members. I give the permission and normal users can See the "Tasks" opcion in Nav bat but can't enter. I don't know how to make visible only to Staff members. When upgrading IPS removes custom MySQL changes to tables. We have changed the password field to take more characters since we can't support Blowfish and use SHA512 instead. Is there a way to edit the file that checks and modifies the tables? Where is this file located?

Hey guys, So I just did the upgrade and since then my nav bar isn't showing it's links or highlighting the current page anymore. It's just completely blank until you hover over a section and then it will show the links.

Hi! I tried to enable/install source button in editor (i've some issue with editor and mobile, and if i can edit by source all works best)! So, i've found these plugins: 1) http://ckeditor.com/addon/sourcearea 2) http://ckeditor.com/addon/sourcedialog I tried n.1, but this result already installed (although i cannot see any way to enable)... After of this I tried n.2, and it work as expected. Anyway, if is possible, i prefer n.1. My question is: can i do something to install (or enable) plugin n.1? Thanks in advance for support, S.N.

This happens in IPS 4.1.5.1. I'm currently trying to pull image URLs out of a multiple upload field. The key for the field is 'images'. Im trying to customize a page i have created but im stuck because working with url field is a pain in the ass there no way to add elements inside links and the link to be controlled with the field for example i have this in my template <a href=" {$record->customFieldDisplayByKey('clan_website', 'display')|raw} "> <div class="pmi_title2"> {$record->customFieldDisplayByKey('clan_name', 'display')|raw} </div> </a> the clan_website field is a url field but the url field already adds the link inside a tag and if i choice a text field type the out put adds <wbr> tags between the link any idea?

I have LOTS of events I need to add to various calendars I have created on IP.Calendar and was wondering if there was a way to enter information into a spreadsheet and then import this into a selected calendar? I can't see it being too complicated as it's just inserting information into a database table at the end of the day! Can this be done through Cpanel/ PhpAdmin etc?? Kind Regards, Paul.

I'm really struggling here. The issue is that I'm able to reproduce it in one environment, but not in the other. Both environments are pretty much equal. If a topic title contains a norwegian letter, like æ, ø or å, then when I select posts with the checkbox and choose "Hide" in the options, it redirects to the following error message: Sorry, there is a problem We could not locate the item you are trying to view. We have a 3 month subscription set up that required Paypal as the payment method. We have it set up to issue the renewal invoice for the same $ amount with a 5 day grace period. But now when you click to renew the subscription it is showing check as a payment option alongside Paypal. How can I remove the check option from the renewal payment? Thanks,

Hi guys, I made an admin group for our admins and wanted to enable them to lock and move threads in certain forums / sub-forums. Right now it seems they do not have access to lock threads or move them. I am using the latest ips 4 and I can't seem to find out how to do this, any idea?
