Hi, The notification mail sent to user contain the full new message. So the user can read all the content in the mail and don't need to visit the website page. Is it possible to show only a teaser of the new content ? Thank you !

Hello, i just updated to IPS 4.1.6 and i saw that editor icons are wrong positioned. For instance, if i click the emoticon icon it opens me the Code popup... The align right icon looks like link icon... What is wrong with it?

I just ran the upgrade tool from my admin cp.. All was going smoothly until reaching step 2, and then this: Declaration of IPS\Content\_Item::hide() should be compatible with IPS\rules_hook_ipsContent::hide(IPS\Member $member = NULL, $reason = NULL) Now my site is down with this: [[Template core/front/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] and I can't access my ADMIN CP at all!! Please help. I've submitted a support ticket but I can't have my site down like this.

Hello after testing the upgrade process on our IP.Board 3.4.9 to IPB 4.1.x (latest) I see mixed collations. The UTF8 Converter stated: "The database tables are UTF-8, collations are correct and there is nothing to convert. You can proceed with the upgrade." Is there any way to view your average user number count that you will be billed for? I recently moved an externally hosted site to the cloud and am struggling to find what my current average user count is and i dont want a nasty surprise at the end of the month.

Does anyone have any experience to adding meta tags for Twitter Cards when it comes to the Pages application? I was looking at the includeMeta template within core->global->global to potential add some form of if statement that if on the pages application, grab the author and various other data that is tied to the current page (ie an article). Any help would be appreciate as I couldn't find much when searching.

I would like to manually trigger rebuilt of all my forum posts. Can advise how ? Reason;. When I upgraded to 4.1.5.2, the YouTube embed feature had a bug resulting in all YouTube posts shown as link . I have upgraded to 4.1.6.1 but it did not rebuild those post .

In section ACP > Customization > Editor > Settings > "Paste behaviour", I have selected "Remove formatting and do not allow user to restore" But when I copy/paste datas from a webpage, formatting is not removed, and, more ennoyoing : html tags are copied in the post content

I noticed REST API in the ACP and was wondering if I should do anything with it? It says when I click it: In order to use the REST API: Download this file. Upload it to the /api folder in your site's directory (/home/content/*************). Rename it to '.htaccess' (with no file name).

How do I clear the cache or amount total of the 'category menu'? A article was placed within the wrong area and it now shows that it still there. In the past, I have experienced it with one of my other sites and just deleting the block and re-adding it worked but this time this isn't doing it. News (3) It should be two, which looks bad to visitors who realise that there's not that amount. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm a newbie trying to figure out IPB. When I upload my logo it appears huge on the site but I can't find a place to reduce it's size. Do I need to remake the logo in a different size and then upload that? Do most people use a skin/theme? Or is the standard sufficient for most? Thanks!

Youtube vids embed pretty reliably but I haven't been able to sort out how to embed a "local" mp4 that plays fine within the gallery app into an article or post. Is it meant to work similarly to youtube or is there a different method? Inserting via existing attachments/gallery doesn't work, nor does pasting the full path. 4.1.6.1

Hello, I've updated successfully to the newest version. Now that I'm done I discovered, that all the posts are ripped. Whenever there was a "ä", "ö", "ü", "ß" there is the rest of the post missing. What can I do to fix this? Mike
