I want to have my VIP members to set their own title without the cunt content items. So if members get VIP when at 50 posts or under or higher I want to have option for them to edit the title and other groups aren't in VIP don't get to edit.

According to IPS's migration tool, VB 4.x supports 301 redirects during the migration process. My questions are: 1) Are these for the "friendly" URL's I'm currently using or just the basic vBulletin URL structure that I'm not using (IOW, is it going to only 301 redirect links that I don't even use?) 2) Do I need to set/develop my new IPS FURL structure before or after migration?

I have a few questions about gallery videos: - how can they be downloaded by the members? I don't see any download button. - is there a way to rotate them (if the video is filmed vertically and appears horizontally in the gallery or the other way around)? - is there any way to make them appear as actual shots of the video on the forums homepage, like the photos are shown? We have just swapped from vBulletin to IPS in the last couple of days. I am finding it increasingly difficult (and time consuming) to find answers to questions the members are shooting at me on problems and questions. I thought I would list some here just in case someone has come across it and found a solution. I've been searching here and googling but unless I can come up with the right phrase it's not giving me what I need? when you click in a post and then the members info is on the right hand side under a round circle picture (for eg) is there any way to customise what information is shown here. Hello, I've just bought IP.S (Board + Pages) and I'd like to import my data from Burning Board 4.1. So I installed the Converter in my IP.S 4.1 and tried to import and convert my data, but there is no option for Burning Board. In this thread, @Charlie said that it is possible to move and they created an importer. Does someone know where to find it? Cheers, jacboy

I think my members are the dumbest on the planet. When uploading images they are using attachments to insert the image they THINK they are uploading to a gallery album. They also do this when attempting to insert a video link in @Mike John's Videos application -- they put the video link in the editor instead of in the Video URL field. Ugghhh. Is there a way I can remove the Insert other media button from the editor there?

Dear, Al my indexed forum pages on Google has the green line on google "gebruikers online" thats Dutch for users online. Before the IPB 4 upgrade it did not had this. The green link was the topic title. How can we fix this?

HI Guys Where i can find a way to log in via Wordpress or vice versa? Looked about but could find no solutions. We run wordpress and IPB together but would like to have one main central login, so whether we log in using wordpress DB or wordpress logs in from the IPB DB. Can i use the "Login Manager" and connect via the "External Database" section? cheers

I was just brainstorming and im wondering it it is possible to use a variable. Im not sure what it would be set up like but for example. If a user had a profile field setting for hiding profile. Can we use a yes/no option and then if yes/no profile field = yes then display profile page - if no then display something. I know the logic but im not sure if profile fields can be used this way? Im thinking this may be a cool way to set up user specific settings that they can toggle on and off

I have been a customer with IPS for quite some years now and this is the first time I have felt the need to post feedback. My website is predominately content driven but uses the forum as a side feature. www.kartreview.co.uk When 4.0 was released (after years of waiting) I upgraded to take advantage of the many feature benefits over the 3 series. We spent a fair amount of time getting the site cutsomised enough to differentiate it from other IPS websites.
