Hello! How I can disable Who's Online and Viewing Images (Attachments) only for guest? I can't find place where I can change these settings (like as Permission Masks in 3.4).

I have noticed today that guests can download any attachment from my site (example), although it is clearly set differently in ACP (this is a setting for subforum example link is from): Did I miss something, is there a tool I should have ran or something? This is not good. Not good.

In a members gallery, they have it set to sort by title. When initially viewing the gallery it is a descending sort... 9, 8, 7, 6.... If a user overrides this sort to sort by date, then changes back to sort by title it sorts ascending.... 1, 2, 3, 4..... I entered in a ticket and was told this is not a bug, so my question is does anyone find this feature useful? I find this inconsistent. Additionally, it would be great to have the ability back for members or admins to choose the sort order, descending or ascending.... Part 2, would anyone know how to fix this manually by editing the source? oops wrong area, this is a 4.x issue...

Is there a way to show a custom field in any template? I want to show one custom field (The user automovile) in the header . To show the name of the user is enough with this: {member="name"} How can I do it to show a pfield? I have tried {member="field_11"} but it is not working. Thank you!

When installing a plugin like Who Was Online, I see reference to using the Block Manager to enable it.. but I cannot seem to find that block manager for the forums. Similarly there are a few other plugins that I have downloaded, and installed, but it seems like there is an additional area I need to go to to force them to display, etc., but I can't find any documentation on where exactly to go. Are there any additional hints that can be offered with respect to configuring some of the generic plugins (primary things like city/state, visitor count lists, newest members, etc) to display properly after the plugin has been installed?

I apologize in advance for what I assume is a very silly question, but I just got this forum software and was able to rearrange blocks from the frontpage of the forum. I'm guessing I've changed something so I'm not able to do so anymore.. Where do I enable this? (I'm talking about the little arrow on the left side that brings out a menu)

I have an issue with a posting feed. What I am trying to achieve is to have the latest post in a thread displayed in a block by a certain member. Now since I am not much of a programmer I just thought I would pin the topic select number of posts to display 1 and than filter for that user. But everytime I decide to choose the member it breaks the block. It works without choosing a member but as soon as I use that function it breaks.

I recently converted from SMF to IPS 4.x There are many links on my site that were to other threads on my old SMF site. Were those supposed to be updated as part of the conversion? Because they were not, and I have loads of broken links.

I'm struggling to generate a drop down box on the profile fields. The one I was using on IPB3 had keys so I could do something like: 1=Option 1 a=Option 2 qwerty=Option 3 Then I could use a given {key} like letters and numbers to link an image to the {content} which would be the displayed Option. Was this functionality removed or is it just a bit different now? Can someone help me out with this? Perhaps I'm not comprehending the new profile types because this is all I'm seeing: Is there a guide anywhere that explains what these are and what they do?

I did the auto update this AM. Something gave error twice, and then the Admin panel briefly showed jumbled up. I later F5'd and it seemed to be OK for a bit. My members said the forum wasn't showing correctly after the update for them at times. They also reported my search (advanced) was not working, just showing the circle as working in the tab. Well, I and a couple others started to use the search to test it out and then my forum went down. I think it has something to do with the update. Hi, I'm trying to import this RSS Feed into my new IPB4 Forum: http://services.runescape.com/m=news/latest_news.rss But I'm getting an error that says "That is not a valid RSS or Atom feed." What am I doing wrong? I have RSS Feeds enabled under Forum Settings... I did this easily on my old IPB3 forum.

I'm trying to install the plugin Highlight Authors/Usergroups however, I'm receiving what seems to be a permission error. The error callid is 1S111/1 but I cannot find any resources on the value of this error not any other support requests with that particular error. I understand (correct me if wrong) that it is not possible to sort and filter all images from all albums. I'd like to be able to have a gallery homepage with a sortable list of pictures; specifically sorted by most liked in the last X days, or latest images by tag, and so on. If it's not a core feature, would you be able to point me in the right direction to achieve that with a plugin? Is there a plugin I can look into that does a similar thing and I can maybe adapt to my need? Or maybe can you point me to the right hooks? Thanks!

A hook that gives you a custom block to put on the site which shows recent attachments and links to the forum with recent image attachments. Is there a way to NOT allow attachments in the descriptions of Album images? Some of my members are uploading the images as attachments to the description area of the image instead of uploading the image... Uggh I also have an issue with really long image titles. Apparently they feel the image title is for long descriptions.

I have installed Donate Sidebar 2.1.3 plugin and I am having problems receiving funds. When someone tries to send me funds they receive the following message: Your recipient is not able to receive funds at this time. Your recipient must first set up his or her account to receive funds. When someone tries to send me money using paypal "send money" option, I can normally receive funds. Any ideas?

The "Event Stream" is OK on Calendar, but I want more. When I select a Calendar, I want it to show ALL events on that calendar for the year. Currently, you have to scroll through the months to view each event. I have a calendar for each championship on my site and users want to click on the appropriate calendar/championship and see a list of all the events in that championship. Is there a way to create a custom view in Calendar?? Thanks Guys.
