I am wanting to post HTML on my website for a DMCA logo but can't seem to find where I can post HTML, it's enabled on my permissions that I have access to post HTML but can someone direct me on where to access the area where I can post. Thanks.

I am creating categories/forums by copying the forums and subforum children. when I do this i get something like this Does anyone know what table in mysql stores this information. I want to mass update the table via a sql query and not have to go into each one and manually do by hand.

When I request statistics, I see the numbers whiz by for a fraction of a second, then get a choice of graphs. How do I see the numbers like I used to. Am I missing something obvious here? TIA Jim

We have several dbs and we want the users to fill in as many records as possible (content is king ). Is there any build it method to motivate the users adding new records? Something like showing the total number of records within postbit or profile? Showing special rank badges for db records? .... Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Hi there, I've created a set of pages around our forum competitions, and I've put them in a folder called, quite logically, "competitions". One of these pages is named "index", and I've made it the "Default page for this folder". I expected this would produce a URL like mysite.com/competitions/ which would load the index page. Unfortunately, the URL created is mysite.com/competitions/index which is not what I want. (And mysite.com/competitions/ produces a Page Not Found error.) Is this a known bug? Or am I doing something wrong? I also have an issue with the navbar breadcrumbs. I have created another page in the competitions folder called "terms…

I'm currently paying for a dedicated server for my forum and I have no idea if I'm paying for more resources than what I need. Hey folks. My community makes a weekly podcast - Currently we store them on the site in the downloads section along with a few other spots. We would like to start getting onto iTunes BUT currently the RSS feeds for downloads also includes other files we have, which is no good. Is there a way of only getting the feed from our Podcast category?

Hello, I just upgraded my forums. I am now seeing this issue: [[Template forums/front/index/forumRow is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] This message displays where forums normally display. Does this mean I need to rebuild my theme completely?

Hello, I really liked the version 3 IPB chat, but I must say that the version 4 one kinda sucks.. is it me or aren't there any settings anymore? There are no logs, no settings to enable avatars or something, you can't add chat rules anymore.. etc I was wondering if theres a way to have such things? It would also be nice to be able to remove posts on the chat because I have people advertising sometimes or posting viruses and I can kick/ban the people but their post stays which is pretty annyoing. Are there hidden chat commands or something? Or is there really just nothing you can do except enable/disable the chat?

Hi All, I installed IPB as a subdomain...example: forum.XYZ.com however when I installed it a few months back I did so using http. Now however I have an SSL certificate. How can I change all URLs to make the site, site-wide SSL secure? http to https? I have tried changing the "global config" file via FTP from http to https as "base-url" however it keeps going back to http after I save and upload. Not sure what else I can do? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi, I want to activate activity stream on my site because I want the users to follow on the comments posted on the pages articles. The problem is that when enable this option it also show all my articles in the stream. I dont want that to happen. How can I make the stream show comments only? A couple of things I'm just curious about on how to get. 1. How do you get the online users at the bottom of the page? I see the button for it up top, but I like it when it's at the bottom of each page. 2. On my forum under the username it has the location of the person. I think this is (or was?) a longs-standing issue with blocks on pages but wondering if there is a fix that maybe I've missed? I'm using a database for an iinventory. The db does not use categories. The page associated with the database uses a listing template to show all club-owned items with its current status (checked in to storage, in use by a member, etc.). I have a database feed block that shows a pared-down "quicklist" of all items that I'd like to use as a sidebar on the detail ("display") records for each item.
