I just switched hosts and while everything seems to be working fine, some images won't load. After trying to figure out why it seems like they are the ones that were cached by the image proxy feature. Even posting new images no longer work. It's like it can't pull the images no longer. I put a ticket in with IPB support but it says it can take 48 hours for a response. I am in kinda a panic since no one can basically post images right now or some threads won't show their images. Has anyone run into this or have any ideas why thus is happening and how I can get it fixed? Thanks.

Hi, I'm using REST API in order to allow users to post topics/posts to the forum from my website. The topics/posts are created successfully, they are assigned to the users, and everything works great - beside one issue: after sending the topic/post, the user does not get subscribed to the topic (even if the user's default settings is to automatically subscribe to topics they reply in). I wish that the REST API would automatically subscribe the user to the topic after posting the reply / creating a topic. If it's not possible with the REST API (which seems to be the case) then I would love to hear any ideas about a workaround. I don't mind even running a…

I am trying to design some custom code for my IPS installment, and instead of trying to use old-fashioned php queries like the code I am migrating uses, I'd like to use build in IPS classes, much like the following (Found here: https://invisionpower.com/4docs/advanced-usage/development/working-with-members-r179/) \IPS\Member::load( 1 ); I cannot find a list of these classes or solid documentation. I came from vBulletin through XenForo, and VB always had extensive documentation. Is this located anywhere for IPS?

Hello, my community was using a nulled version of IPB i felt bad for using it so i went and purchased a license however i don't want to do all the hard work from scratch again how can i move my setout like members, theme, blocks etc. to my new board. Since upgrading to IPB 4.0 I've noticed a lot of my users seem to be looking at a forum and not actually doing anything, so I logged in with a second account on a different browser, went into a topic and checked - it still said that I was looking at the forum index. I left it a good 5 minutes and it never updated. However, when I went back to the forum index it updated immediately and then seemed to track the topics I was viewing. Anyone else noticed this?

Hey guys, About a month ago my hosting company locked my VPS and put it in recovery mode, so i had to move the website and sql, it wouldn't let me make the db a .sql file, so i had to take the folder located in /var/lib and re-make the db from those I got the website up last week, Saw lack of registrations and i noticed its giving everybody an error Sorry, there is a problem You are not permitted to register a user account with this site. Error code: 2S129/1 I checked to make sure registration is allowed, It is, I checked to make sure the website was online, it is... Any help will be great! Thanks.

I cannot set up registration tracking (Goals) in Google Analytics. I've tried every method in GA (expressions, begins with, etc) to no avail. It seems the link that is sent in emails for completing registrations is a redirect that does not contain the GA code. I searched the support forums for a fix, but only found people with the same issue and no solution. I already asked support the same thing, but they refused to help, stating it's "out of scope". What is the fix? I'm using V.4.1.5.2

Hello ! Is there a way to get rid of the "What's New in Version" option in downloads ? It is useless (well, it is for me !...). It creates a modification menu which means nothing (see screenshot). The download button still makes you download the first uploaded file. You get an hardly visible link to download the new file in the "What's New in Version" section. When you remove the new file you still have the "What's new section" and it's text content. Our forum: IPB 4.1.14.3 On a VPS running CentOS 5.9 Plesk 12.5.35 PHP 5.5.38 We're wanting to install the 4.1.15 upgrade. The installer finally gave us the news we'd been dreading: that PHP 5.6 would be required, which wasn't available in our version of Plesk. We contacted our VPS provider and they manually added PHP 5.6.26 and registered it with Plesk so we could use it. The issue we're seeing though is that as soon as we change the existing forum (again, on 4.1.14.3) our forum craps out. I'm trying to use IPS Connect to make the user login to IPS from external app. Login shows correct response when I put right informations in the form, but when I check the website it is not logged in. So I tried cross login, but it did not work. I used cURL functions to send Http Requests. I have deleted some members and wish for their content to be removed also. However, all the posts have defaulted to "Guest" but I can see no way to "batch" delete them and as "Guest" is not a member, it is difficult to remove all the posts. Thanks.

Is there a way to allow moderators (not admins) to just BAN without using the flag as spammer button? In other words, sometimes moderators want to ban without deleting or hiding the banned person's topics or posts.

Hey guys, I am having a slight issue, I decided to upgrade my forum today. (Haven't done that for the past 4 months), and I've had no luck in doing so. I went to my /admin folder/upgrade and I got the following error: so obviously I created a datastore folder (/admin folder/upgrade/datastore) and I chmodded it to 777. I refreshed the page and I kept getting the same error, so I made one in /admin folder/ and /. I am still having the same issue. I am out of ideas on what I should do.
