There a little bug in the index page blocks on the marketplace when the files name is truncated and there is the unread pin you can see in the image it sends it below the pin, its the same on all blocks ( pretty sure they use the same template anyway ) Adding ipsPos_left to the span class of the <span class="ipsItemStatus ipsItemStatus_small"> does the trick

Our forum has been going for 14+ years, the uploads folder has 75,000+ files, about 20gb worth when gzipped. I'm needing to do a good prune of all this but I want to do it with as little damage as possible to existing posts/user uploads, how do people recommend I go about this? Is there a way I can do it via the ACP so it clears the DB too?

Hi, I am a bit lost on the large project. I would like to review ALL blocks / widgets placed on the project in any area. Ideally with its settings and where they are exactly placed (forum index, forum category, cms page, gallery image and so on). I am not able even to find a database table that contains all the placed widgets and settings. The table core_widget_areas does not work for me. It seems to be incomplete and misses settings for some widgets. The question is: where the settings of the blocks are saved? How to get the full list of the blocks/widgets used on the site? Hello ! 🙂 I've noticed today that I now have two Google Adsense banners on my board... One at the bottom and a new (unwanted) one below the menu at the top of the page... I never asked for this and didn't make anything to allow this... I looked at the ads configuration. I use "Define your own locations" and the key is "basdepage". The key has also been added at the end of the globalTemplate... So far it worked fine. Why do I also have a banner at the top now ? Can anyone help me with this ? Thank you. 🙂

Hello, after I have upgraded my forum I see that once I go live with new version the URLs will not be redirected for gallery, blogs and files because of new structure. I wonder do any of you know any .htaccess rewrite tricks to make such redirects possible? http://www.website.com/forums/blogs/* -> http://www.website.com/blogs/* http://www.website.com/forums/gallery/* -> http://www.website.com/gallery/* http://www.website.com/forums/files/* ->http://www.website.com/files/* I actually need the part forums dropped from the URL only when the address is going for forums+blogs/gallery/files. Hello, has anyone got an idea how to bulk change author of a few albums full of thousands of gallery images? Back in the 3.4.x days I uploaded a lot of pictures and that was not taken into the whole "content" count. And now after upgrading I have like 26k posts / content. I wish I could create a bot user and give him the ownership of those pictures.

Yeah, stupid title, I know, but here is my problem: In Pages, I have a database with a custom field (checkbox). Now I want to display a badge in the listing template based on whether the checkbox has been checked or not. Hello maybe somebody knows this. I help a friend with his forum, who is not very good in English, as we are all Dutch. He has an issue with conversation notification. The e-mail notification of a new conversation or a reply to it is send out, but the link to it is wrong. I currently have IBP setup so when you go to my root domain the forum is what pops up. I want to change it to a sub domain e.g. forum.mydomain.com instead. What all is involved to do this? Do I just change the board_url in the conf_global.php? I don't need to move the physical installation or re-run the install for a pathing change do I?

Is there a way to through the database, or other tool, to disable the block on the administrator account, and then also disable the authenticator to allow for login? I've been locked out once prior in the past, and there was a way to reset via email. This time I'm locked out, but my only option is to use the "contact us" form, which of course won't be very helpful.

We have a massive DB. 6gb of data. very old forum. 3.4.6, unable to upgrade to 4.4.7 because, well, because of this: Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes (serverpath)/applications/core/setup/upg_40000/queries.json - query #236 ALTER TABLE `ibf_core_item_markers` ENGINE=MyISAM, ADD KEY `item_member_id` (`item_member_id`) Ticket still stuck with level 1 because I DON'T KNOW. this has been dragged by IPS for three days now Now the upgrade session is expired.
