It seems I can no longer mark posts as the solution. I suspect it's unrelated, but I recently had my host convert some myisam tables to innodb. I just cleared my cache. Forum setting Sample post Same issue if I disable all customizations.

Hi there, in my community an user can't login with her credentials. She has the correct password but login failes. Then she's using "forgotten password" function, is setting a new password and can login. Next day begins the same procedure as every day... She can't login, she's using "forgotten password" and so on. Now you might say "okay, one user" BUT I have the same problem for myself with another IPS page (and this is not my community). Do you know this problem as a bug?

I'm seeing quite a few posts being held for moderation and wondering what I'm missing. I wouldn't say it's a majority of new posts, but enough to be noticeable. Automatic moderation is off The option for holding new posts for moderation is NOT checked for that forum section The user does not have any infractions that would result in their posts being held for moderation It's happening even to long-term members with high reputation scores. What else could trigger a new post being held for moderation?

Hi all. I am not a developer but generally run the updates on our forum without issue. I've been a bit late at running the latest update and it has thrown a whole lot of errors which means the forum is showing no content when threads are opened. The application update says to run the Support Tool because the theme is out of date. I think I've found a bug that exists with at least IPS 4.6.5 & newer. Something in these versions blocks most bots from indexing or seeing the site. I have tested with fresh installs of IPS v4.6.5, v4.6.5.1 & v4.6.6. When I install a different forum system, we see all the bots indexing and see the site. EDIT - I think it may be part of this bug...

Good day all Just a quick question running 4.6.6 and just noticed when hovering over somebody's name you used to be able to see were they where in the forum. Does not seem to show their activity. Is there a option to reset or re-enable. Hopefully explained correctly. Thank you

Hi, I don't know if this is a bug, but when you log in anonymously, if anyone go see your profile pop-up (the information pane appearing when you leave your cursor over a profile avatar) your status is shown as online and they'll see which topic you're looking at... That does not sound very "anonymously" to me... 😕

Greetings, It's time for me to upgrade my forum from 4.4.10 to 4.6.6. I am attempting to setup a test forum so I can get my themes, plugins, and applications updated to 4.6.x, as well as making sure the upgrade scripts run without any problems. I was able to copy all the files over to a new destination (on another server) and copy the database as well. Unfortunately, while the themes were rendering properly at one point, now none of them are rendering properly (the CSS isn't displaying, for instance), either on the forum or in the ACP. Hi guys, for some reason I am having this issue where I deleted some of my forums and this message is not going aways even though forum is deleted or completly empty... IN the image above you can see that Rendering forum is being deleted but when I check on the Forum page we can see its empty but still displaying... Any idea why is this happening? Ive tried to clear the catche but it didn't help. Unfortunately I am not able to contact IPS support anymore so I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks, Igor

I noticed the plans have changed. I can't seem to find an announcement on the plans being changed ? It went by concurrent users now it goes by impressions ? I am going to stay on the same plan ? When is it going to upgrade me ? I don't seem to have an email on this either.

Hello everyone, I thought a couple of times about the possibility of not writing this message, but I finally made up my mind, and I am doing it. I am paying IPS for support. I need them to support me because there are many times where I just can't fix something, I find a bug, I report an issue that I just can't fix, not even my webmaster. I am happy to pay for that extra help. However, the guys at IPS have decided to change the way support tickets are created. It no longer is possible to send an email with the ticket. Recently changed some posting website links settings and decided to rebuild existing content. The progress is now stuck on posts and the queue task has been locked. Manually running doesn't work, gives an error code 1S111/1 without a message. could someone from IPS be able to look into this?

I've gotten my domain changed over on the 13th and while I was busy for 2 days. I figured I was good to go by then while I tried to access the site, it gave me the DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.
