    Accidently deleted a forum, can I recover it

    Hi, Whilst trying to add a note to a forum, I've accidentally deleted it! Is it possible to recover it, as its a historical record with over 20 years of entries.     Error Code EX0 when trying to view an announcement?

    When I go to the ModeratorCP, click Announcements, and then click any of the announcements listed there, I get the following error message: Sorry, there is a problem Something went wrong.     One of our mods stopped receiving notifications since Jan 7th?

    One of our long time mods, a member since 2008, has always received email notifications... until Jan 7th 2025 when he stopped receiving them suddenly. I checked his notifications and he's set to receive emails for every possible event except for achievements. I check the Email error logs and is says "There are no results to display.".

    Validation Link Incorrect

    Hi All, We use Sendgrid as our email output but we're having an issue with getting the validation link to go to the right place. We get the below error when people click to validate. This isn't even the correct web address when it should be https://snowguns.com/xxxxx/validate.php or whatever it needs to be. Any idea how to resolve? Thank you.     Attachment downloads not working

    Hi, today, we discovered we cannot download file attachments from our pages, forums, or messages. I have tried being in a few different groups, and it's the same. When we edit the posts, they are there. I tried new posts, and they are not working either. This is a serious issue for us as we depend on this feature. Cheers Alex

    Can't find a user in the ACP when searching for display name?

    I'm trying to find a user in my ACP. For example his display name is simply 'bob'. I search for 'bob' and get 50 results such as 'bob-geldof' and 'bob-dylan' and 'bobby flay' etc... but no 'bob'. Now I noticed that bob's email is bob7@hotmail.com so I search for 'bob7' and right away I can find him, with his 'bob' username right there in the search result list. I remove the 7 from the search so it's back to 'bob' and again, 50 results that do not include 'bob'.

    Hi A new member has uploaded mp3 files to his profile About Me page, and to a comment on one of his gallery images. Mp3 files are allowed as attachments, and within the editor the mp3 file player auto embeds and the files are playable… However as soon as you hit submit those attachments just spin and eventually throw errors. I assume a permission is stopping them from being working. Where in admin can I configure what happens with mp3 files and where can they be uploaded/played? Cheers John

    Spam bots attack...

    Hello everyone, Starting in December I've been facing a serious problem with spam bots. Dozens or hundreds of bots register on the forum every day and post spam. The recaptcha v2 option is active, I also activated the "question and answer challenge" option, and yet the bots continue to register and post thousands of messages. The email addresses they register with are @gmail.com ... Today I also disabled the "login with google" option, to see if that helps. Is anyone else facing this? can you help me with any advice/solution? Thank you!

    I have a promoted topic that shows in "Our Picks". It's a popular post from 2024. We have a new one for 2025 that I promoted. How to I remove the 2024 from the promoted / Our Picks section? The 2024 topic is licked, not sure if that means anything or is why I can't find a way to remove it. Thanks

    We have the problem that alerts were sent to users from a webmaster account during maintenance work that cannot be dismissed. These alerts need to be responded to. Now the webmaster account from which the alerts were sent has since been deleted, and the user cannot dismiss the alert. How can we solve this problem? Screenshots are attached.

    Homepage Keeps Changing

    Hi! As of about a month or two ago, every once a couple of weeks, my default homepage keeps resetting to a random Page (always different...). Does anyone know anything about the system behind the homepage? Any insights would be useful, because I have absolutely no idea what triggers it or what happens. The "make default page for this folder" mark for the page is set correctly, even when the homepage shows up as a different page... I've had the same homepage for 5+ years with zero issues before. Anything would be helpful, thank you!

    Pages with redirect (Google Analytics)

    Hi Folks I'm seem to have a problem with Google Analytics showing there are 42,700 pages on our forums with redirects, and that this is a huge issue with content not being indexed. When I look into it within the Analytics, its showing forum page URL's, but with this on the end: /?do=findComment&comment=281507 Over 1000 pages of these errors... How do we turn this off so that any URL that is presented with this on the end of it, doesn't work or produces a 404? Thanks

    Mobile uploads from at least Android is showing up sideways in posts. I have the latest version of IP board installed, running gd, and have exif installed. What can I do to resolve this?

    Hello! We noticed over the weekend any images uploaded through our /media folder have been changed. Example: BEFORE: https://ips-cic-filestore.s3.amazonaws.com/v328378/pages_media/5_aida-attention-animated.gif AFTER: https://media.invisioncic.com/v328378/pages_media/5_aida-attention-animated.gif?_cb=1735583945 This has made all the images we link from /media unusable. Is there a quick fix for this? Thank you!
