Posted January 9Jan 9 I'm trying to find a user in my ACP. For example his display name is simply 'bob'. I search for 'bob' and get 50 results such as 'bob-geldof' and 'bob-dylan' and 'bobby flay' etc... but no 'bob'. Now I noticed that bob's email is bob7@hotmail.com so I search for 'bob7' and right away I can find him, with his 'bob' username right there in the search result list. I remove the 7 from the search so it's back to 'bob' and again, 50 results that do not include 'bob'.
January 9Jan 9 Solution How are you searching this? The three characters may not be enough (generally, MySQL search requires 3 or more characters) or you may be exceeding the amount of results due to too generic of a term.

Just typing the three letters in the search field at the top of the ACP. 10 hours ago, Jim M said: The three characters may not be enough (generally, MySQL search requires 3 or more characters) or you may be exceeding the amount of results due to too generic of a term. Interesting. I have another member named 'jay'. I searched for 'jay' and he's part of the 50 results. However, I notice that I also get 50 results. Tried a few other searches and each time, 50 results. So it looks like indeed the the amount of search results displayed is limited to 50 max when there's actually more matches? I wish there was some kind of indications of that on the UI - but at least now I know. Thanks!
January 10Jan 10 If you are looking for a specific user, you are better to click the cog icon and do an exact search. So enter it in username, and change the "Contains" part to "exact"
