  1. The above is how you would resolve this. You may also see further logs in system logs once you have got yourself back in there, which should give an indication as to the cause
  2. Please check this again. Whatever was causing the issue, no longer seems to be present.
  3. Did you read the message that was posted above? Again this may well be what you are seeing
  4. I have created a ticket on this for you, so we can look into the issue further
  5. Please feel free to post this up as a suggestion for improvement, but at present this is working as intended. It would show only the first in the series in that area
  6. There is no way in which to just change the password in the database unfortunately. Your best bet would probably be to create a new user, then change the group in PMA. We are unable to assist with old unsupported versions of the platform unfortunately.
  7. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
  8. Before we proceed, have you tested this on a default unaltered theme?
  9. Please see the following, which I believe may be what you are facing here. https://invisioncommunity.com/news/invision-community/new-feature-a-friendly-reminder-before-posting-r1249/?tab=comments#comment-228962 Its not really meant to stop bots, but to encourage better posting
  10. Sorry, Im not sure what you mean here. You can select groups of people to reset the password of if you have a criteria for them, if that is what you are asking?
  11. Could you let me know who that user is? Also is they are viewing as a guest, make sure they arent in incognito or similar
  12. Yes, that would indeed be what is causing the problem, and will take some time to catch up
  13. Glad to hear you found the cause there, and hope you manage to get a solution to the coding issue you have there 🙂
  14. Your issue is showing at the top of the admin CP. Your tasks are not running, and the cron you have set up needs to be corrected (either by yourself or your hosting company)
  15. You can use any email, as long as its what is added to the support area. I would advise if you are unsure on how to provide FTP access, you gain the assistance of a server administrator to assist you. It really would be a minimum knowledge requirement if you are hosting the site yourself
  16. If they are, we would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
  17. Yes, there has been a lot of spam from Russian accounts over the past few days, unfortunately.
  18. You do appear to have patches awaiting. Please go to Support in the top right of your admin CP, and you will see "Optional patch" under the version number
  19. No. What you would do is move the site to the new machine (database and files, even if its not working because of PHP 8), then upload new files and run the upgrader
  20. I'm sure, yes. It checks the files to see if there is an upgrade present. In your case it doesnt find updated files. There really isnt anything more to it
  21. The forum will continue to work in its current state. You simply lose access to all IPS services, including updates, the IPS spam service, support etc. I would point out, it would be worth ensuring the customisations are updated, and if needed move to a server that supports PHP 8. By running PHP 7, you are actually running a site that could potentially be compromised, as PHP 7 is no longer supported by PHP themselves for security fixes.
  22. Before we configure, could you please confirm you have run any patches showing in the support area of your admin CP? I ask as there was a patch released for a date issue with calendar items only yesterday
