Hi, Is there a simple mod in the marketplace that allows for quotes to be collapsed by default? I have a picture board and users are quoting posts with lots of attached images. This creates very redundant and long quotes. Lot's of scrolling. I need some sort of fix for this problem. Thank you ?

Hello, I know that there's a points system plugin for Invision Communities here, however it doesn't seem to support what we're looking for. We're looking for a points system where community members earn points to doing helpful things (such as answering questions), and can spend points to ask questions. I asked on the existing plug-in's support forum if their plugin has these features, and the answer was no, because their plugin "depends on rules to issue points, and the new IPS reputation system introduced in 4.2 is not hookable by rules." But could another plug-in be built to do what we need? If so, any suggestions on how to get this work done? Could …

Just curious if anyone made this before or willing to make paid addon so that you can use the question and answer challenge captcha for guest posting. Google etc... is all Dependant on 3rd party software that might get outdated and more and more people don't trust google captchas.

Anyone can make a new version of this? https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7723-ipba-recent-topics-widget/ The linked one is way past needing an update and does not work with 4.3 and there was once another made by @mdmx which also broke with 4.3 (I was using it) and I can not find the file to see if it was updated (I did a thorough search so I assume it was deleted) I am happy to pay for a new version of this

The one big thing I see missing from custom profile fields is tags. Here is an example of how this would be used: You run a site, something where your users all have special skills they are proficient at. The admin could set up a custom tag profile field called "Skills". Your members could then add skills they are proficient at in their profile. The admin could then put a block on the site for that profile field "Member Skills" in which all the tags or the most popular tags or whatever show up in that block. Folks I need to create a block for my (central) portal with topics thumbnails and a URL pointing to it. It would basically be a grid with 5 to 10 topics (2 rows 2 columns), similar to superTopics pages but I would only need this feature. Does anyone know where to find it or is it possible to develop it? Thank you!

Does someone know of a plugin for IPS 4.3 that allows for the old BBCode hidden action? That action allowed for parts of the message(between the [hidden] and [/hidden] tag) only being visible to logged in users.

I had foreseen that the "%s" symbol attached to the word would have been a disaster. I do not know how to read in English, but in Italian it is a piece of rubbish (do not be offended, but it is so). I had to redo everything, a huge job, but the various explanations that you gave me in the other discussion were vague, and I think that in English you will have problems, because the symbol "%s" should be detached from any word, otherwise prove me the opposite. I would like to see the ability to override the theme's default 'share logo' which embeds into the social media's meta. By default you can only have one, if you share a lot of links via Facebook or Twitter - the chances are after awhile people will just overlook the discussion/topic solely based on the repetitive image. We have a plug in that admins/mods can "flag" content as NSFW as well as auto detect certain keywords and mark as NSFW. Then if you are a guest you will see "Must login to see content". The plugin works fine for 4.2 but we want to upgrade to 4.3 but it breaks. Unfortunately our dev who made it is MIA. I was wondering if anyone could update it. I have included the source attached. I'd like to see a plugin where there would be a "Display" section where users could switch between languages and themes. I've always enjoyed sites that had them in account settings besides the bottom of the footer. I'd be willing to pay any amount for this plugin counting I haven't seen anything like it.

I will be launching a website utilizing IPB Software that may have many high profile business people become members. I would like to create an environment where they would feel comfortable using the message system to communicate with each other knowing I don't have the ready means to read their messages and have access to their email addresses. As the software stands now, I am able to login as one of these individuals and read their email or I could create a copy of the MYSQL database and programmatically read emails as the database fields related to messages utilize a password I know.
