For Pages, how can I make the breadcrumb path different than the folder structure? It's common and SEO safe per Google. If I had a new site I'd pick a new folder structure but things are 10 years old.

I need to build a development board that is a duplicate of my main board but on a different domain on the same server. I know I can create a duplicate database on the original domain and link to it from the dev domain and I can copy all the files from the original folder across to a password-protected folder on the dev domain. Having done that, what changes do I need to make to the database/config files to get everything working?

Is there a way to make registration fields conditional? Such as a radio button or checkbox that when selected, additional content appears that may be then completed? The thought is having the registration form change dynamically based on answers so that it tailors to the community members registering based on their answers.

We have a section of our forum that has been set with "Users can see topics posted by other users". Is there a way to create a sticky post that is visible and readable to all while keeping all other posts under the above topic post restriction? Intent: we would like to be able to put readable sticky post with guidance in it regarding how to use the area of the portal. I know its a long shot but had to ask.

Is there not a way for file owners to see a purchase list rather than only a downloads history for paid files? My members keep complaining about how it's a pain having to sift through pages and pages of downloads history to make a manual purchase list for record keeping purposes since some downloads provide multiple files, and their customers download the files multiple times causing the list to have several upon several duplicates. The downloads history list is fine, working as intended and not requesting for it to be removed or changed, but I'm kinda surprised there's no built in way for a file owner to more accurately and conveniently track their customers on sit…

Hi all, I think it would be great to have a method to include advertisement banners in the notification email system. Right now the only options are to include social links and promoted content. This is absolutely NOT mission critical, but I did want to know if it was feasible. Is there a way to create a forum that is only accessible to one member, not a grou? I know I can create a one person group, I just wanted to know if there was a member level permission. Another case might be when you have a forum accessible to a group but just want to have one particular member, not of that group, join in the discussion. Thoughts? Thanks all.

Hi, How can I (as Admin) get notified by email every time someone (anyone) makes a post in my board, anywhere? I know about the "Notify me of replies" in individual threads, but I'm looking for one general setting that will apply across the board so I get notified for every post automatically. I remember once upon a time, IPB would let you change the default behavior the "delete" Post/Topic button from removing the topic or post to have it move it to a "trash" area. Is this still possible in 4.4.x? I hope that made sense. Thanks, Brian

When I enable this feature the following is the systems behavior: - new topic start --> forward to "one last step" (note above) registration page (after post) - reply to topic --> forward to normal registration page (after post) This seems odd that when a guest replies to a topic (versus starts) they don't get the same "one last step" note... just a normal sign up page. It's confusing. Is this a bug?

Every time a user reply's to a post, then his previously entered text is appearing again. This is very annoying. There is a bar at the button called: But that's a bit devious. I don't really see this happen here on IPS. Is there a way to disable this so if a user clicks box to reply or uses the reply button he get's a nice fresh screen instead of the text of his previous post/reply?

Hi, I wanted to ask, is there any default method in IPS suite that redirect back to the page after login from where we click login. Suppose I have a page that need login so i display a message there 'please login first to access this page', so after click on login , login page will be open and after login i should redirect back to the page. My menu tabs at the top of my site suddenly need 2 clicks instead of 1. This seems like it happened after the last upgrade. Mouse over used to bring up the sub menu and click was action. Now 1 click is submenu and 2 clicks is action. I really dislike this. Is anyone else noticing this?

Is there any documentation around what is included in the Invision Community platform search index? I'm aware content Title and Body fields are included, but are Tag and category texts included? For instance, if I search for "tag1" in the main search (not searching by tags) should items in tag1 appear.
