Hi, Currently when people submit files, if they don't add anything in the description box it lets them click submit but then their submission doesn't appear and everything they did has vanished. I know that the description is needed to complete their submission but it is not giving them any warning like it would on most sites, telling you a required field has not been completed. I can imagine a lot of people have submitted files and think that it has worked successfully and are waiting for approval but in reality all the info and files have apparently just disappeared. Is there a way I can change it so they can't submit until the description has been f…

Anyone have advice for how's the best way to introduce a sellers 'feedback' facility onto these sites? rather than the usual scoring posts, is there something available to add a feedback facility into a'+ Create' menu - whereby members can leave specific selling feedback for other members, and displays on members profiles,?

Just struggling a bit to discover the basics of how to layout the homepage here; Appreciate any tips, advice and refs to setting up initial homepage layout and styles, like; 1. What's the best way to get some intro text and widgets to the top of the homepage? whilst then seeing the forums below, I'm set at the default forum page view - which is fine, but can't figure out how we can add something above the forums? 2. I am trying to embedd images that were uploaded via the media manager in the Pages Application. When inserting the media tag, e.g. {media="3"}, then the image would not be displayed on the relevant page. When adding the tag to a page created by using "Manual HTML", the the path the image is shown on that page, but no image. When adding the media tag into the WYSIWYG editor, then just the tag code {media="3"} is displayed in frontend, but no image. I must be doing something wrong somewhere. Using the latest 4.4.7 Version. Any idea whats wrong? Thanks for any pointer!

You can create custom blocks which display Blog comments, Download comments etc. -- but there seems to be no way to do the same with Pages comments. I consider this a missing feature (I already created an improvement request), but until this is being added to the Community Suite, I have to take what is currently available. So... I guess I can create a custom block in the AdminCP. I want it to display all new comments that have been created with regard to articles of a certain database. Unfortunately I have no idea how to achieve this using custom HTML/PHP and whatnot. Can someone help me with this? All I want is a block that I can place anywhere in the frontend, disp…

Could anyone advise me how to change this text from standard white to black please? it's the top right on main header, says; EXISTING USERS LOGIN I'm running an off-white header, which means we can't see the log in text! No matter how hard I try, I am not able to get FB promotions working. I thought that the last change that allowed a separate application for promotions, one that you can keep in dev mode so the extra permissions are not needed would help. However, while the content is posted on the fb page it seems that it is visible only to me. I have a strong suspicion that noone has the fb promotion working, maybe only the people who jumped through the thousands fb hoops and obtained the required permissions. So, if you have FB promotion working without waiting for FB permissions approval, please raise your hand!

I need to embed image sliders into pages articles. I thought I could do it with Slider Maker, but this isn't the case. Question: Does anyone know how to use image sliders in pages articles? If I cold embed a gallery into an article that would enable readers to browse images right in the article that would be great as well. We post product reviews and would love to display image sliders of the products between paragraphs of text.

If i use the RSS feed import it imports the whole article. Is there any way i can change that so it imports so many characters of the post or half of it or somthing. I am concerned that if i import the whole post as is the default it will cause duplicate content issues.

Hi. Having a problem understanding... We've created Clubs. The club in question has members. The members can post images, but not to an existing album created by a leader. So, if I understand it correctly, there is no such thing as a 'club' album, the club album created by a leader/owner remains theirs? Thanks

I have a couple pretty good sized forums. I would like to add a "similar content" block to every topic page. So no matter which topic they open, the similar content block shows in the sidebar. Is there a way to do this without having to go to every page on the forum? Sorry, I know I should know this by now.

When you delete an image from an album, shouldn't the corresponding file be trashed from the disk? I deleted an image over an hour ago and it's still there. I thought there might be a cron...?? Thoughts? Thanks!
