I have added a button to my forum that i want to display site wide but don't want it to show on forum sections. So i want it to show on index and individual topics but not in forum sections. Is there a condition i can use to hide it on forum sections only?

Is there a way for each club to show topics - from its club only - in a sidebar within its own section? Unless I'm missing something, if you put a Topic Feed it pulls it from forums in the main community. Thanks.

Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible to hide poll percentages from our members so that they can come in, vote on a topic, and the results are only visible to admins so that we can have a grand reveal of what the winning choice ultimately was. Right now I only see you can hide member names from being public, but that the poll percentages will still show, giving away our winner or how close the race really is. Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance!

My community currently only distinguishes between "Guests" and "Members." I do not have a "Validating" primary group. Is that a normal thing to have? How do the rest of you setup your primary user groups for new members? I want to ensure only validated emails are able to post and comment, etc.

I'm new to IPS and I made a rookie mistake. A red notification popped up at the top of my forum telling me an upgrade to 4.4.6 was available. I clicked on it to hide it thinking the notificaton would still be in the AdminCP. Apparently I got rid of the notification completely because I can't find it in the AdminCP. Is there a way to get it back so I can run the automatic upgrade? Thanks

In my previous site with a different software I had an addon developed about 8 years ago which was an Aviation News Reader. Using the rss feed from News sites I used the rss importer to create threads in an Aviation News forum. Hello, I'm having trouble finding information on how to create databases. Using the adminCP is somewhat confusing because there's no explanation of how things will display or behave without actually spending hours and hours experimenting. The feature also seems to display records like a forum, rather than like a real database with rows/columns, database-like tools (such as sort orders and filters) and search (within the database only).
