Why are there no archived topics in the search and lists of topics/posts in the user profile? Users complain that the search does not work well and they can not find some of their old messages. P.S.: I had to remove all the old topics from the archive for their participation in the search.

Hi, By default, referrals are active for a year: In /Dispatcher/Front: \IPS\Request::i()->setCookie( 'referred_by', \intval( \IPS\Request::i()->_rid ), \IPS\DateTime::create()->add( new \DateInterval( 'P1Y' ) ) ); … 1 year is… 😳 😲 That would be great to be able to choose this duration, like 1 week, 1 month, 10 days… Thank you!

Apologies if I am requesting something that already exists, but if it does, I really cannot find the setting for it. It would be great to allow guests to view images at a smaller size, but when they click on them to view full size, ask them to login/signup. I know vbulletin has this as this feature has made me register to several vbulletin sites in the past! It would be great to save on bandwidth from guests (but without blocking their access to topics entirely) but also give an extra incentive for registering. Thanks.

You guys should update your favicon by increasing the resolution and using a png to take advantage of transparency, because the antialiasing that's going on now looks like it's designed only for browsers with no dark mode, aside from being low res. Just a thought to help you present yourselves a little better.

I would like to see an option to exclude certain forums and categories from searches as an option. In forums with many forums and categories, there will be many where irrelevant information is being shared (at least on mine). Filtering out certain forums would help so much. Thousands of topics are great, but if we can get the weed out of the thousands of posts, it would help tremendously. At least having the option to enable or disable the indexation of the selected categories. In advanced search on the front-end UI, a user can elect to eliminate the forum from their particular search but that's not what I am trying to achieve. Thanks a lot

Hello, When I look at the list of members I see that it is not possible to change the sorting of Static: Display name, ..., date joined, ..., IP registred Dynamic: Display name, ..., date last connection, ..., IP used now. And why not add the IP address with a color code Red Banned, orange problem, green currently connected...

4.4.4 Sees Grammarly disabled - I must admit I never had any problems or issues using Grammarly in any iterations of the IPS suite nor in any of the apps. Since it is now disabled it has compelled me to use another called Ginger, which whilst good, it is not as good as Grammarly. I can only say thank goodness that I did not upgrade to the paid version or I would have been out of pocket as I only use it on IPS sites. With this in mind, is there not an opportunity to discover what issues are prevalent with Grammarly and can they be surmounted? I would love to see this come back. With thanks

Currently, it's not possible to search for tags directly from the basic Search Box. The tag search is submerged in the second of third level of the advanced Search. In a closed tag forum or even an open tag one, tags are critical to organize information, even more than the topic titles that can be very confusing and not even appear in the Search results with the variety of operators there are. I've read that many others need a better approach when using tags for searching what we need. An operator or symbol could be used to instruct the search that the word is s tag, there are many different approaches really. Tags are not given the importance they deserve.…

1. When you search multiple tags there is no way to do an exact search like with the words setting. If I search the tags: BBQ, Chicken, Recipe I get results with 1 of those tags, 2, or 3. Can we please get a setting to do an exact search of tags, for sites that used closed tags this is really important, as members can really pinpoint what they are looking for when you have a lot of tags dealing with the subjects of your site. Important for open tags as well. Perhaps this setting can also work for tags and you can include it in the wording. Would probably need to be a separate setting though since you may add words to your search but want exact tags and not exact…

Tags are essential for searching our community (and many others) so it would be great if ADMIN had the option to set the default Searches to include Tags. I know we can access tag searches, but that's not an intuitive or easily accessible search for function. Thanks!

Is there any way for a user to clean up their purchases in the marketplace? I have stuff in there going back to 2012 and it's no longer relevant, but just adds to an already extensive list. It would be useful if there was a 'remove purchase' option to slim down that lengthy list of things that are no longer updated/listed or simply just no longer required. With thanks

Hello. I have a suggestion I think IPS is in need of. While adding a product, you're given the flexibility of choosing any subscription term (renewal) you'd like - well, all except one. Lifetime purchases should be added a feature to the product feature instead of limiting it to only subscription plans. It's a huge flaw in my opinion. @bfarber suggested to make a new product that copies the main product, with the exception that it is appended with '(Lifetime)' - this won't work for me for many reasons, and it also seems like a band-aid fix; it'll look very out of place and hacky. Hello, I wanted to send a newsletter to the members of a club, but this feature does not exist. So I had to create a special group, then one by one, add each member of a defined club, which is time consuming. I would like to be able to send a newsletter from the admin panel to the members of a Club.

When selecting things in the UI, and my selections are not remembered across pages, I twitch. Can we get some love on the selection abilities across items and please, for the love all things javascript, a "deselect all current selections" button. I can't tell you how many times I've navigated over pages in a thread trying to find out where the checked items were. Select All Select All on this Page Deselect All Deselect All on this Page etc.

Clubhouse 101 is the new “forum” sensation based on audio. For some time I have been asking for a better gallery APP to better support for video and to allow stories. I was testing out the single-user-license key extension, and I realized it's virtually impossible for a customer to find their product information after ordering something. The email they receive does not tell them to go to their purchase history for their product info. The page after they order only says "You can go to Your Orders", which has no information on their product. There is no way for the customer to actually know they are supposed to go to the Purchases page to get their product information, so it looks like the website just stole their money. If I buy something online, I expect to see the license key right away after ordering, or to be sent in an email. …

Is there a difference between mobile cache and desktop cache? As you know, I do many different tests ... Often I find myself in a situation where a mobile test shows low speed, with equal other indicators (FCP, LCP, etc.) and in the same test desktop shows excellent results. In the second test, mobile results are over 20 points better - and in several tests per minute ... Ie when online PSI test coincides with "some time recache" mobile results are very low, as if the site has no cache performance ... At the same time test, desktop performance is in comparable excellent condition ... Is there any built-in difference in cache, mobile and desktop processing? …

I have ArrowChat installed right now and there are problems. It's difficult to adjust the theme colors and it doesn't match our site. There is a hidden bar across the bottom of the screen that blocks the mouse from clicking on the underlying page. I sometimes am carrying on conversations with the same person simultaneously in messages and chat and can't decide which I should use to reply. The way Facebook and LinkedIn have quick chat merged with the private message system is really ideal. If you need to make a one-word reply to someone it only takes a second and you don't have to leave the page you are on, but you can also dive into the full message …

I have priority support and a high traffic forum. I have waited almost three days for a response. I am at my limit. I think I might move to xenforo this is beyond a joke. I pretty much represent a huge gaming scene. I know if I moved at least 300 will follow due to the fact they want to follow the biggest. That’s a lot of income to lose for a business. if you are listening please help me I can’t afford to lose more downtime. Three days is to much!!!!

Hello everyone, I wanted to suggest a suggestion to improve the download file module. It's not user-friendly. This notification is not user-friendly. Users need to sign in or sign up in order to download the file. Can't we have the Sign in and Sign Up icons instead? I couldn't find an option to do this so I guess it's not possible right now. The user might or might not read this text and without it's forcing him to look around for where the sign up and sign in buttons are. That's a problem. You are making him waste his time.
