Here is a concept / idea... Members who wish to sell something using the store (not here but in our respective sites) They would have a place in their user page to add their own PayPal or Stripe, etc. payment API info. When the member adds their merchandise to the store they are prompted to choose their own Payment Processor. When another member makes a purchase based on the rules your store has if they sold something for $25.00 the system would compute the charge and send the commission to designated site owners account such as $3 for Site and $22 to member the end user would see two separate transactions on their statement. I've been seeing this mo…

Hello, I notice that there is a missing functionality in terms of tag management. I have members who add TAGs using acronyms some spells SOS other S.O.S. I would like to have the possibility to list all the TAGs and to be able to modify them en masse by saying that S.O.S is SOS. It would also allow to see the Orphan Tags, to have statistics of the number of times it is used, to identify more quickly the TAGs to proscribe.

Hello, In the statistics there is no function to view the number of members in relation to the domain name associated with their email addresses. You should also have a history of sending errors by domain name. Because when a domain name is revoked it is not very easy to notice it.

Here's the thing, sometimes custom css is paired with custom buttons, and when that's the case those custom buttons no longer work when you're editing page tops and forum rules etc in the admin cp. To remedy this, adding a 4th option to Admin CP theme Auto, Light, Dark and Custom would be nice. That way you can use your custom css in the rules / page tops.

I have created a WordPress blog that was in the Top 1% in the World last year, (for pages read) and we had a commenting system attached that was part of the Disqus network that offered much more than what I have with IPS. I was able to have copies of posts listed compactly on a page (in the order written) in order to scan through them quickly for violations. Disqus had a stat area where I could easily see how many posts were written each day and I could check quickly by week or month as well. I was able to see how many posts were edited in a month, and how many were deleted. I could also get a quick count of those few who were banned. All of these are stats …

At present if someone wants to rate an article in Pages they also have to add a review. This can be counter productive by inhibiting users to simply rate which gives a similar insight as to how popular a pages article is seen to be. Many would happily rates (click on the stars) but insisting on a written review in order to rate will likely put a lot of people off, which means articles that are well received may not be perceived in that way by the author. Topics can be rated, so let's have to the option to rate a Pages article without insisting on a review. I would ask that ratings be allowed with or without a review also being added - keeps everyone happy having a…

Hello, More than 80% of the traffic is linked to robots creating overloads: database or bandwidth. Can you add feature for block bad robot in CP-Admin -> Ban Settings : Bots AhrefsBot, Konqueror, MJ12bot, Zeus, ... Like this code in index.php: include 'Badbots.php'; second files Badbots.php: <?php $httpUserAgent = null; if(isset($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'])) { $httpUserAgent = $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']; $unwanted = array( "ahrefsbot", "cmscrawler", "mj12bot", "memorybot", "zbot", ); foreach ($unwanted AS $val) { if (stristr($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'], $val) != FA…

For information...when you had the site offline earlier, the main home page displays as follows - offline message all the way off the left. Accessing /forums at the time showed the message correctly.

I've had enough. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-56071437 So, my question is, does Invision use any kind of trackers in the software suites we use (e.g. for the emails that we send out)? If so, is there a way to switch them off so I'm not accidentally gathering information on my members? If I want metrics I'll gather them the old fashioned way by building a direct relationship with them, not through surreptitious data harvesting. So, Trackers? Thanks.

I have some users who are starting to use the blogs app and adding their wordpress rss feeds. The RSS import feature in ACP allows you to import an image within the feed's enclosure tag as the record image in the pages app. There is no way to do this with the blogs app when a user adds their feed, and use the feed item image as the blog header image. Need an option to use the feed item image as the blog header image to really complete the import within blogs. As it is, it imports it as a broken attachment.

Being a fairly large community with quite a lot of traffic (in our country, relative to other site/communities in our niche) we started encouraging members to use our site as a platform for their own independent content. So herein lies the question - we have statistics for forums, for clubs, even for the gallery. Why not have statistics for blogs? I've looked for plugins but there aren't any. something like a youtube creators dashboard that will allow members who have blogs to view simple stats like total & average post views, total & average comments, view trend graph (hourly/daily) high/low activity hours and such, that way they make better informed…

In Pages: we can add custom fields to the database. If the fields are empty for the record, they are not displayed on the record view page. Except of the field of type Item. It is always shown even if it is empty. I know that we can control display with {if}-clauses. However, it would be more consistent, if this would be default as for other field types and no code is required to suppress it.

The number of topics and posts on the main page is counted only from the main tables of topics and posts. But posts and topics from the archive are not taken into account - this is misleading for users. I think this is wrong and should take into account all the posts and topics available on the forum.

I can see on this forum there are varying line spacing examples; look here at my double line space for example yet other posts on this site with multiple lines include narrower spacing. Is there a way to tackle this? See post below for a proper example of the difference in spacing. I have used exactly the same device .Maybe im just being an idiot. Even this post now has two different line spacing examples.

I just noticed that RSS import on blogs allows tags but the main rss import for forums and pages does not allow default tags. Is this an oversight or by design?

Hi, I always need to approve all the transaction made through my store on commerce. Is that something that is automatically enabled from the settings or what? My customers can't receive their orders until I approve them and I'm not 24/7 online to approve each one. Is there any way around that?

Why are there no archived topics in the search and lists of topics/posts in the user profile? Users complain that the search does not work well and they can not find some of their old messages. P.S.: I had to remove all the old topics from the archive for their participation in the search.

Hi, By default, referrals are active for a year: In /Dispatcher/Front: \IPS\Request::i()->setCookie( 'referred_by', \intval( \IPS\Request::i()->_rid ), \IPS\DateTime::create()->add( new \DateInterval( 'P1Y' ) ) ); … 1 year is… 😳 😲 That would be great to be able to choose this duration, like 1 week, 1 month, 10 days… Thank you!

Apologies if I am requesting something that already exists, but if it does, I really cannot find the setting for it. It would be great to allow guests to view images at a smaller size, but when they click on them to view full size, ask them to login/signup. I know vbulletin has this as this feature has made me register to several vbulletin sites in the past! It would be great to save on bandwidth from guests (but without blocking their access to topics entirely) but also give an extra incentive for registering. Thanks.

You guys should update your favicon by increasing the resolution and using a png to take advantage of transparency, because the antialiasing that's going on now looks like it's designed only for browsers with no dark mode, aside from being low res. Just a thought to help you present yourselves a little better.

I would like to see an option to exclude certain forums and categories from searches as an option. In forums with many forums and categories, there will be many where irrelevant information is being shared (at least on mine). Filtering out certain forums would help so much. Thousands of topics are great, but if we can get the weed out of the thousands of posts, it would help tremendously. At least having the option to enable or disable the indexation of the selected categories. In advanced search on the front-end UI, a user can elect to eliminate the forum from their particular search but that's not what I am trying to achieve. Thanks a lot

And why not add the IP address with a color code Red Banned, orange problem, green currently connected...
