Hi team, when I make any search or create a topic feed in my forum page the clickable results always shows the first post of this topic when probably was created months or years ago. Could be very useful to add an option to force to go at the last post by default or add a button in every topic to go to the last post. A lot of topics the user needs to view the last posts as first option and then look backward if its needed. What do you think about this feature for future versions? Thanks a lot.

So I love the new achievement, badges, ranks system. I plan to create the following badges Created 1 Topic, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10,000, etc... Replied to 1 Topic, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10,000, etc... Uploaded 1 Image, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10,000, etc... These are some common feature suggestions from my community regarding the clubs feature. A lot of them are based around giving club owners more control over their own clubs and members. If there are any plugins/apps that can provide any of these functions, please point me in the right direction! Move "Edit this x" option from the drop-down menu to a button next to the tab title. The current placement for the edit option when a member wants to edit a specific club tab is not too user-friendly. Please revert the new change i.e. forcing users to post reviews for rating. For ex: We have rating on maps. https://fearless-assassins.com/files/ It's annoying for everyone to post reviews to rate their map. Eventually users are forced to post junk reviews, just for rating. I have no idea why IPS makes some changes and forces it upon their customers. Please revert the change so we can continue to rate without review. For those who need it, just simple add a toggle option in ACP. PS Now to just rate, I will have to deal with bogus reviews which doesn't make sense. Thanks.

When adding new badges that users can earn, they are not in order when displayed in the profile. For example if you created a badge for: 1 Week Member 2 Week Member 1 Year Member You then wanted to add a badge for 4 Week Member, when processed and showing on the profile they would show this way: 1 Week Member 2 Week Member 1 Year Member 4 Week Member You should be able to change the order of badtges on the Achievements / Badges tab so they are processed in the order they are shown. Looks neater on the profile and fixes OCD for members.

We have some international users, and our Downloads consist mostly of themes. It would be nice if there was a way to have a language-specific (or country specific via GeoIP?) Top Downloads. People with non-English themes have a hard time getting them seen as it stands... p.s. Would you mind adding a column to the downloads_downloads table called 'exclude'? This column would exclude the download from all counting. Right now I am having to delete records when people spam downloading to get to the top of the list. It'd be nice to keep a record of these shenanigans. Thanks!

Why on earth does the software send renewal invoices from a backup installation? Isn't that just asking for trouble? Even if an admin knows to set NEXUS_TEST_GATEWAYS to TRUE in constants.php, they shouldn't really have to, should they? Even if they do, it doesn't seem to work. Make it possible to turn off the rank icon on photos and display the text from the new rank system instead so it can show under the username on desktop/tablet as it used to. Also make it possible to allow user to edit their rank title once they’ve reached the top rank, or by allowing us to set which rank is editable.

I'm having some serious problems finding certain apps in the Marketplace (they exist and are active, but I cannot browse to them in the Marketplace to update or install them). This led me to wonder: could we possibly add an option where we could enter an author name and/or click the author name in an app's tile for a list of apps by that author? It wouldn't rectify the above issue (which mystifies me, since I can download and install them manually), but it would be nice.

Hi there, Some articles on my site are quite old but are regularly updated to stay relevant. We do however encounter some issues with users not engaging with it anymore as the first comment is in 2019, effectively killing off the engagement and potential sales on the article. It would be great if there was a way to reverse the order of comments on articles in pages for entries to re-engage our community by presenting them relevant comments.

I'm sorry if I didn't find if this idea was planned or something but here is what I suggest: Create User List page and combine it with Staff, Leaderboard and other similar pages that can be done as tab in User List page. Also create search bar if you need to find specific user (not using default search bar and make it more specific & use less resources because you don't search in topics). Little inspiration art from other website. P.S. Really want reworked staff page 😀

My members are alerting me that when an anonymous user quotes them or liked their post they can see the anonymous user's username in the notification. Give the nature of the feature I hope this will be addressed promptly.

I just noticed that there is a setting in All activity that restrict display of content and that it should show just content within the last days - like 4 days in my settings here. I can't remember that this was a setting earlier on, and on the site I need it, it is not working as intended. There might be something else going on there but could not figure out. Does it work as intended? When I restore streams to default, the All content link has a stream number 6 like https://nnnne.no/discover/6/ I don not understand why the number 6 is added there, instead of just /discover/

As the title suggests, would love for the cacheExpiration value (defaulted to 24 hours) on the forum statistics widget to be configurable by an administrator in a future release, just like it was prior to 4.6.0. The current 24 hour default setting rather renders the Forum Statistics widget a bit pointless if it's not percieved to update in "real time". I can just imagine the PM's from my users... "Why don't my posts count towards the site total?"

In some cases it could be useful to have rights per group for personal data access. For the moment the only way of doing something that may look near to that is to add groups as moderators but don't give them any moderation right, so as "team members" they'll see that level of personal data fields... 😕 So, having a per-field or at least per group of fields access level could be very useful.

I would be using the Q&A Forum type more often however, it's greatly flawed because it lacks the ability to have a conversation around the Question and each answer. Comments are needed. More detail: Currently you can only post Answers to a Q&A topic. This is a problem when people want to get more information about the question. Do do this, they will need to post a comment or two and have a mini conversation before posting an Answer. This is normally done on other sites (Stackoverflow etc..). For example: The issue if not being able to comment on a topic is the full discussion is lost with a bunch of "answers" and it makes …

There used to be a third party addon for this feature I'm about to ask for but I think that IPS should add the option for administrators to restrict PM messages for usergroups until they reach a certain number of posted messages or responses on the forums. Sometimes you run into the problem where someone new to your community will register for an account and instead of posting on the forums, they send a barrage of personal messages to forum staff or the general members in some weird advertising campaign. One user can create one topic in different sections (cross-posting). I used to make a module for 3. x, which compares the new user's message with the previous ones (the algorithm of fuzzy duplicates) and this 100% protected against cross-posting. Why hasn't IPB made this option yet?
