There's quite a few tools for manipulating the templates, but information on the style images is lacking. For example, in order to know which skin(s) use a particular set of images, you currently have to check each skin's settings separately in the Admin CP. This is all fine and good if you're the Admin that installed all the skins, but for someone less familiar it can be a nightmare on a board with several skins installed. Providing a tool that reports which skins use which images would simplify matters considerably. Well I Had An Idea The Other Day Of Maybe Using Adobe Flash / AIR To Develop The Next Possible IPB? You Might Think Its A Bad Idea Because You Cant Customize It But... If IPS Were To Change Their Customization System So That Its Done VIA XML/CSS You Can Open New Doors With Your Software So That All Customizations Will Be Done Within The Flash Applet Allowing For Nice Smooth Animations For Actions And Forums Can Now Have Introduction Pages Done VIA Flash GUI (Object Oriented) And Allow Objects To Be Scripted As Well If The Customer Wishes. Hi, I'm unable to view the customer board. I did renew my license. It was very strange, because I tried to request my password, and the forums said that it couldn't find my email address. When I tried creating an account here, however, it said my email was already in the system. I do have a valid license. I haven't had to use these boards before, if I recall. Is there somewhere I can plug my license key into to be able to use the customer boards? My license is under Nathanial Benton. I tried using the forgotten password link, and it says my email isn't in the system. Yet when I register, it won't let me because it IS in the system. What gives?

Since I saw that downloading speed can be customized (IPD), how about the forums / board page loading times been controlled? For example for paid customer have full speed while for free user the forum loads slower. Is this logical? unless there is no change for the resources ...

I notice that every other part of ibp has the upload option for the avatar and or post uploads and so on but in order to use a signature you have to link the image then copy the url code or the bbc code and then past it then all that other stuff just to get one simple image to display under ur posts. on my forums not all of the members can quite understand this and they are used to having the ability to just simply upload their signatures as some use VB bulletin and they can simply upload their sig from the computer and other software companies i don't mind the linking of the sigs my self but when my staff get neumorous pms a day asking i cant get my signature to lin…

1) Make the Validating tab the first tab when you click on Manage Members. Most of the time, admins would go there to manage validating members. Also, if I click on a validating member's IP and go back, I'd have to click on Validating tab again to do this for the next member. 2) The SPAMMER link is too close to the checkbox. It could easily be clicked on accidentally which leads to the next suggesetion. 3) The BAN and SPAMMER links should require a confirmation like for DELETE AND APPROVE.

I have no qualms with the acp menu structure, or positioning.... but when it vanishes before i can select an item because of mouse-out it is severely frustrating and un-intuitive... and its something that annoys many... would it be so horrible to have a delay on mouse-out before the menu ninja-vanishes? just my two cents.... when id rather click the application link than even attempt to use a sub-item... that's bad, right?

First of all, I'd like to say that this is a big disappointment that the MSSQL drivers for IPB aren't going to be developed anymore. I had just heard about them for IPB 3.1 and I was waiting for IPB 3.2.. but then I saw the message in the client area saying that it's not going to be around anymore. I wanted to integrate it was an ASP.NET application =/ oh well... :logik: /disappointment at least you can run PHP and MYSQL on windows servers

Hi, Now that guests can chat, would it be possible to restrict guests to a certain time period, or perhaps only be able to logon if a moderator is present. I could see the later being of benefit to companies where they want people to ask questions, but not when there is nobody to reply. Would also be nice if a different sound file could be used for a guest so that moderators could differentiate between guests and members. Thanks.

Hi! I'd like to know if it's planned to add (library) hook possibilities for all the classes in the files inside ips_kernel directory. I've seen some already being loaded with such possibility but I also have seen some that are not. Perhaps they all could be included by default? Thanks :)

When a admin or moderator warns somebody he is forwarded to this location: .../forums/index.php?app=core&module=modcp You would expect to be returned to wherever you where on the forums before you gave the warning. There is no point in entering the 'Moderator Control Panel' after a warning. All our moderators are complaining about this. Since this can not be changed anywhere in the ACP, I would like to request this as a feature. If not a feature, then please make it so that you are returned to wherever you where before you gave the warning. Cheers, Michel

Apologies in advance for the length of this post. It seems to me that most people who are seriously unhappy with the switch to CKEditor - including myself - are primarily users of the non-RTE mode. The standard mode of the 3.2 editor has so far proved to be very buggy - I personally have submitted 8 different bug reports in the last 3 weeks related to it. Most serious was a bug involving the img tag which allowed an attacker to insert any arbitrary Javascript which would run whenever the post was viewed (you won't see this bug in the tracker as it was made private - it is fixed in 3.2.3). Today I installed and ran the Google Page Speed project on http://community.invisionpower.com and the score was 41/100. I also ran this tool against VBSeo's forums and they received a score of 94/100. I absolutely love IPB but I was always concerned as to why VBSeo users always achieve great results and their pages tend to load faster.. If the IPB skin could achieve 90% or better ranking with Google's Page Speed test, I'm certain that would have some type of impact with visitors..?

We would like to suggest an addition to the existing ip.calendar: html Our site is the homepage of a weekly TV-show and we use the calendar to post teasers for upcoming shows. The teasers also include a short youtube-video but it seems that we cannot post this in the existing version of ip.calendar :)
