I only see the top and bottom block positions on New Content page. Why not have block locations above and below the filters on the left on that page?

I have a few issues with this option, as well as some suggestions to make it better, so I thought I'd compile them in this thread. Issues: The topic prefix and suffix does not add a space after/before, resulting in them merging with the record title, which looks really bad.Suggestions: Allow us to customise the contents of the automatically created topics. Allow us to add polls to the automatically created topics. Add a setting that if turned on, locks the automatically created topics. If anyone is interesting in making a plugin/mod for suggestion 1, 2 and/or 3, that'd be great too

While editing the toolbar, whenever I add a separator it does not allow me to move it to where I want, unless I first add another toolbar. Is this a bug? Does this mean even if we were to hide the buttons, the users can still use them if they know the BBCodes? How do we disable BBCodes?

. This little icon that you find everywhere on your board, in default setting, your board will allow GUESTS to send emails at random from your server .. This means : any sender email address can be used ( no restrictions, let your imagination work ( would be nice to hear some ideas!! ) drugs@forfree dot com ) "Subject" field can be changed in whatever ............... "Message" is a full editor .. links, pictures, .. spam can be send from your board without you knowing .. Because it is not really a bug .. the settings are there to change it easily .. but this is a serious vulnerability .. you open up your server to send out whatever malicious emails…

IP.Pages should offer the possibility to use Record Images multiple times. So the user can chose if he wants to upload a new image or use one that he has uploaded before, like attachments are handled in articles/forum-posts via "Insert other media". Example for use: In my News-section I'm using Software- and Company-logos for News-articles. So one Image is used for different articles and it's not really user friendly to upload the same image again and again.

I tried to upgrade yesterday from 3.4.7 to 4.6.1 and I faced problems with the attachments, format of the entire text of the posts and I can not add any reply to any topic I will add also the lack of knowledge help of the pages product which I consider it as a complicated product designed for the professional that have coding background while I don't have. I did a search and didn't see the thread where this was discussed before but I think it was over on the preview site. There was talk about the ajax pagination and being able to disable it or change the setting but i haven't found any settings for it yet. Does anyone know if there is a way to change it?

The above recently happened to me when I had multiple failures of images to an album. 1) As a suggestion, there should be a way for the uploader to manually CANCEL uploading. It would have saved me more time to simply move on, and then later re-upload the missing photos than to wait for all 100 failures. When I clicked on "Continue" to manually bypass, I got a warning message that I still have uploads going and I need to wait. That's absurd, when the next 100 uploads were failures. 2) When there's an error, please do NOT give me a message for EACH failed upload attempt. I had over 100 overlays of errors at the end.

After testing IPS4 since the Pre Releases, finally i upgraded my live board. The upgrade was very fast, +/- 1 hour. I think i remember being 2 or 3 hours when i tested the upgrade with version 4.0.3. Very good improvement here with 4.0.6.1. The upgrade went very fine without any kind of errors. The board is much faster than in previous versions, and marginally slower than IPB 3.4. Im still running the background tasks. What i was most afraid, was the reaction of my users, and... Almost all of them loved the new board the first time they saw it. They are happy, im happy. We are getting a custom Paypal Plugin made that supports adaptive payments. The developer has everything working except Paypal is not reporting back through IPN to the IP Board that the payment was accepted (normal non AP payments work fine), therefore every AP purchase shows up as pending in IP Board even though it was paid successfully. What is the correct IPN address to report back to Nexus for paypal in v4? Hello, Disclaimer: I am a huge advocate of IPS, therefore this is not a gripe just for the sake of it. Request: Please, for the love of all things buggy, bring back the 'fixed in' field on the bug tracker. We're now up to 4.0.4 with 4.0.5 imminent and we have absolutely no clarity in which release a fixed bug is actually fixed. If we're holding back an upgrade because of a particular bug, which in my case is themes related, or are otherwise waiting for a bug fix that's affecting a live site, we have no idea which upcoming release contains the fix we're waiting for. When looking through the list of settings for a theme, I can't seem to find anyway of quickly seeing the setting key. Could this be a tooltip or something so we can grab the key without having to go to the actual add/edit settings page ?

After all issues to converting the old site to IPS4 is now complete for my site. It feels very well. So in action and a good theme It´s like a dream to control. I have a couple of other sites with open source that really sucks compare to this. I know there are many bugs now, but I can see the potential and IPS have done the best board so far.

On this site I can hover a topic title in NC or the forum and it shows the content. (correct)I can't for database records in Pages (example, Bug Tracker here) and the listing in NC does not show a preview in the listing itself. Hover is needed.Blogs should have it to, when the title only is shown and not the preview, like in NC >> All Activity. When going to NC >> Blogs it shows a preview automatically, but when just the title we need the hover preview. I want users to be able to make a calendar entry straight from the new topic page, and have that entry be affiliated with the thread, so that a brief summary (date, time and duration) are shown in the topic. Is there a way to do this? If not, I'd be willing to pay for a plugin making this possible. *hint hint*

I've never really noticed before but now am seeing users being locked out regularly. For one particular user, I had to reset their password for them to be able to log in again. This was a moderator who knows the tools fairly well so not a case of user error. Has anyone else experienced this?
