When on the new topic screen or in the reply box on the bottom, you generally have enough space to place buttons in the cases where you have to limit your desktop width to 1000px. This means you can get all editor buttons to fit on one line in this view. However, when editing a post, you have an smaller area, which means not all the buttons are available if they couldn't all fit on the one line. Since you simply seem to cut them off. Could you instead wrap the remaining buttons automatically to a second editor line in these cases? Or provide an option for it. I know I could create it on two lines in the editor customization, but the buttons fit nic…

Is there actually a way to show and edit the source of the text editor (the one I am typing in right now)? Some times it can be very convenient to edit the source rather than to mess around in the WYSIWYG editor. One big issue I have is with quotes. Sometimes a quote box remains and I am unable to remove it. Also I like to split up a quote in individual blocks which also isn't very easy in the WYSIWYG Editor. To Copy and Paste announcements from other forums is another reason. Is there a plugin or a function available or will it be added?

This has always bugged me but why are "someone quoted you" notifications delayed but others instant? Can that be addressed or no? 1. Member quotes you and Likes your post. 2. You receive Like notification and view post, see they quoted you with a reply. 3. Now you are browsing the site (minutes later) and get the quoted notification, click the alert just to see it is delayed. Wasted click. I get Like notifications seconds after I compose a post in some cases so I know the delay is different.

Some things to fix in the chat: ACP: Allow to filter chat logs by public, private and both like in 3.x Private chats: When a user private chats another on mobile they have to post a dot or character to scroll and see the reply. this doesn't happen however in public chat.

In acp an admin can set any stream as the site default except All Activity. Which is odd because a member can select this stream as their default. So as admin you have the choice of choosing a stream you don't want as the site default, or deselecting so there is none, in which case the quick link area is empty, meaning on mobile, the main link is empty. When all you want is to select All Activity. Can you please allow All Activity to be selected as default? Or a solution could be, if there is no default selected revert to All Activity, as that space should never be empty. In your patch notes for 4.1.11 it now says: (my emphasis) I don't like the sound of this at all. If I log in on a public computer, say at a library, then I don't want to have to log in once again at my home computer when I get home. Or lets say I'm testing something in Chrome incognito and I regularly manually log out and in of my account there as a result, then I don't want that result in me being logged out from my regular Chrome session. Right now the Marketplace largely caters to IPS application and plugin developers. I think there's a large untapped market for actual designers. For example, graphic design. People who can make, say, icons for forums, favicons, et cetera, et cetera. I know I'd personally hire some graphic designers off of the Marketplace were it an option. For instance, I want to display a different ad on the forum index vs within forums. At the moment, I either have to modify the template to add the checks at a template level, or resort to a really ugly javascript solution. It would be helpful if instead I could use template syntax to check the request URL, and it could also be used to customise ads to users, etc.

I noticed there is nothing that indicates that the member is banned anymore, you'll have to visit the profile to see it. And that's only when you are Moderator or Administrator. I think there should be something that indicates the member is banned, on 3.4 we had a own group for banned members which did the job.

Have we lost this in 4.x? Our groups used to send a message to many people and they would all be copied rather than included on one big conversation. Now, if there are a large number of people involved and one person replies, everyone gets a notification and copy of the reply. Unhelpful! Is there a way that people can go back to copying in recipients?

One of the things I was happiest to see advertised in IPS4 was closer integration between the various apps. But it doesn't go far enough for me. I'd like to see more integration, particularly around comment mirroring... This is great, but I'd also like the same functionality applied to IPS.Calendar comments. Are there plans to extend this to other IPS apps as well? Hi, I need to have a link that will allow users to logout. If I use simply "domain.com/forums/logout/" it does not work at all because of the missing csrfKey, and shows me an ugly error message: The CSRF protection key did not match. This may indicate a plugin or theme is out of date. Please contact technical support for more information. Error code: 2S119/1 Expected behavior was to show a confirmation message to the user.... When clicking a message item in the messenger list, and there is unread replies, it currently doesn't redirect you to the newest unread reply in the conversation. This is something that a lot of members have been requesting on a community I administer. As they tend to have long conversations in the conversation system. So I would like for it to redirect you to the newest unread reply in the conversation you click on, when you click on it from the message list.

The (/) symbol is a common word separator, as in buy/sell/trade, theme/skin, etc. But the search engine friendly URLs created for content do not convert this to a hyphen so they become buyselltrade themeskin when they (imo) should be buy-sell-trade, theme-skin. I would also put a few more on the list like . and + and &. Examples, IPS tips...tools, it now becomes: ips-tipstools. Lots of people use (...) and touch words. Also one+one, or Mike&Ike. Currently, in \IPS\Output::sendOutput, you check whether there are any ads on the current page, and update the ad impressions count in the DB. Aside from this not working correctly, it would also be really useful (and sensible) if this were abstracted to a separate function, probably as a member of \IPS\core\Advertisment. Hi there, it would be nice if you can send an iteam back to the moderation queue. Not as an reported item - just as the default state if a user submits an item and the item has to be checked by the team. I'm currently using the addon Automation Rules and the author told me that the core API does not have a method for this. Maybe you could add this?
