When you first click inside the editor with an iPhone, the first letter is automatically marked within the keyboard of the iPhone to be capitalized. However, this is not happening when you subsequently click enter for a new line or paragraph inside the editor. Is this something that can be implemented? Users on our community wish for the capitalize for the next letter to be automatically enabled when they tap to create a new paragraph. Saying that this is how it works in most other apps and forms on websites (it also did it in 3.4) when you tap enter to write a new paragraph (or line). Hello Everybody, We have tried to get in contact with IPS support for over a month now, but have not heard from them. We have sent 3 e-mails to IPS support and have also received their standard reply that tells, that they will get back to us as soon as possible. Normally IPS support replies within 24-48 hours. Admins are affected too when this changes are made, but it shouldn't Admins cant change notifications settings if restriction in acp Can't attach all files when images only is selected. Maybe add groups permissions Display name restrictions applies to admins too

Whenever someone checks or unchecks "Let others see that I follow" and clicks 'Update preferences' the system sends a notification '... is now following you'. That's misleading because that user its already a follower. It even doesn't have to modify the check box, just press the 'Update preferences' button and a new notification is sent.

Add an option to notifications in acp / user profile that allows a user to follow a forum and be notified of new threads posted there, and allows admins to optionally set this as default system wide

IPS has default content blocks that cover images from Gallery, Downloads, etc. What these blocks don't have is a good user experience. Unlike the recent touch-enabled sliders, these blocks rely on users tapping the icons to browse these widgets and blocks. This is frustratingly annoying on mobile, and these blocks should be touch-enabled (ie: swipe-able). They just feel clunky on mobile. You can see this by browsing the marketplace here on IPS on mobile, same deal. I should be able to scroll through by swiping, much like I can on Google Play. Users expect this on mobile the days.

This is for IP.Downloads. If no primary image is set for a download, the thumbnail on the list of downloads should default to the first available image or screenshot from the download. It could be an attachment, an image embed on the content, or an actual screenshot attached to the file.

I don't see a way to treat downloads categories as just a category (without uploading) where you can make sub categories to allow for the uploading. Then when you click onto that parent category page, you would have all the sub-category content. Similar to forums when you create a forum you can treat it as a category only. That would be a good addition.

I've boiled this down to being an extra feature few fields to the calendar in the clubs and some additional pages/features. Basically, add a field to any user who has signed up to a calendar event in the club, to assign points from that event. Sort users who have signed up, based on points (after they have been typed in) Optionally group calendar events into series, and calculate standings based on points scored across each event in that series. First to mention, I have 2 sites using IPB and both sites use the cms news features extensively. Before this many moons ago using 3.4 articles were presented in a style that would put the article image in the top left and then wrap text around that, same as 4 series. As the text would then drop below the article image the text would of course drop below the article image and keep going in full width of the content area. This is just me speaking of course, but I always thought that was somewhat a convoluted way to deliver content. The difference in the drop from the image height to the drop below and the transformation to full content width is just imo less than a favora…

I am currently using a newsletter app for my community, but I think IPS could add a few features to bulk mail to make it work similarly. Maybe it's something that gets enhanced if you have the pages app, let's say. 1. Ability to use custom created blocks from pages app with tags like you would in other sections of IPS. 2. Ability to use custom ad tags so that you can sell banner ads with commerce for a mail distribution placement. 3. Ability to schedule and add reoccurring repeat sends. 4. I got question related to API, when i create member throught API some members will have no names because of special situations (for example username turned out to be taken, but still create with same email & password and ask new name to update later on). How ever, i'm not able to view the "nameless" members on ACP, currently i'm listing all nameless members thru SQL query and delete them throught API. This is annoyning process, is there some things what i'm not aware of?

Hi! My forum is used by a community of computer scientists and who would like to free themselves from Google tools. But your software proprose only services with Google for analitics, geo-location and map. It would be a good idea to provide by default the possibility of using more privacy-friendly services as recommended by the French CNIL (National Commission on Informatics and Liberty). The CNIL recommends the use of Piwik and OpenStreetMap (with some particular settings explain on their website : https://www.cnil.fr/fr/solutions-pour-la-mesure-daudience).

Clubs should have categories on the directory page In the actual Clubs when viewing forums. There should be categories->forums->sub forums. A block to list the Clubs directory under the forum.

Hi guys. You may remember, recently I was sharing my concerns about general low performance of IPS 4.x. It is still making me a little bit crazy. The most slow page I have is board index (where all the forums are listed). Sometimes it takes up to 3-5 seconds to load this page. Just to remind: I have powerful multi-core CPU + SSD + a lot of RAM dedicated server running my community. I tried everything. I tried to disable all plugins and 3rd party app to make my community become virgin again. I tried to tune up MySQL settings, I tried to enable OPchache. Whatever you can imagine.
