jair101 Posted February 27, 2018 Share Posted February 27, 2018 I, and I guess many others, have a pinned topic in many subforums that basically display what the forum is all about, plus giving links to some previous interesting discussions that new users might find valuable. Maintaining these pinned topics is difficult, because new topics to be included in the pinned one always show up and moderators are not quick to update the pinned topic. So I thought that it would have been great if I had a featured topics block that I can just include in the pinned topics. Once I see an interesting discussion, I simply feature it and voila - it is already in the pinned topic without a need to manually edit anything. The reason I think it shouldn't be that difficult is that IPS offers the opportunity to use blocks even on external websites: Could this functionality somehow be implemented so we can embed blocks within a topic?
