The admin tools for allowing a group to hide content look like this: If I uncheck the circled box and save, users cannot hide individual posts within a thread OR the thread itself. If I check the circled box and save, users can hide individual posts and the thread itself (assuming they created the thread). I want to allow my members to hide individual posts, but I don't want to let them hide an entire thread (even if they started the thread). Have you ever used a website to compare features of a specific product or service? I am constantly tweaking the features of various groups on my site. But sometimes I forget how many emails, albums, attachments, etc., I have allowed for for each group. It would be incredibly useful for me if I could select 2-3 groups and compare their features, permissions, and options side by side.

Except if I'm wrong, it is not possible to create a list of the latest messages posted on the forum combined with the list of last comments posted on the articles of a database Page, is not it? I tried various things using the blocks to create, but without success. Is there a way ?

The current image cropper for Profile Photos allows the user to drag and resize a rectangle over a fixed image before cropping the image. This process doesn't work that well for circular cropping as the user has to guess what the cropped rectangle will look like when later displayed. Rather than dragging the cropping rectangle over the image, it would be much better to drag and resize the image over a fixed circle (if profile photos are shown with circular css) or over a fixed rectangle (if profile photos are shown with rectangular css). I found a jQuery image cropper plugin that gets this UI right. See Croppie for various demos. I'd like to see IPS change …

Only for me manually added users in the subscriptions can not make the upgrade? If not, how about fixing this? We often give subscriptions and it turns out that the one who won simply can not improve it (subscription) further.

Hello, When I publish a topic, would it be possible to have a second web link single and Tiny-URL, visible by authorized members. I sometimes send SMS and I am limited in length I need each time creates a redirect for the subject concerned. The alternative unique URL would have the advantage that if the subject is moved for example to another category the link will not be broken. In the Tiny-url it should incorporate uppercase, lowercase and numbers, but avoid accented characters.

Hi The deleted content in the moderator cp is causing more work for our moderators due to it being so basic as it only shows the date when deleted and the moderator who deleted the post, let me explain further. When a post is deleted and it needs to be restored, viewing the deleted content section in moderator cp is very basic and shows no information on who the post author was and content information. The only way to find the post is by clicking on each heading that then takes you to the topic and scrolling through to find the post. Its not always found this way though as not all deleted posts are shown. Is there an option or a way to show more information…

Okay, firstly, this is a rant...... if ranting offends you.... please look away now ? I seriously have this love hate relationship with CMS... It can be such a wonderful, powerful, customisable (I'm Scottish get over it) tool, but at the same time it really gets me to the point where I want to punch the living crap out of every one of my monitors one at a time, and then another once just for good measure. I know I've asked many times before over the years, but here goes, I hope these are sensible and reasonable requests... Add simple toggle option to toggle open and closed each emoticon group in the AdminCP manager screen (like you can already with say forums and themes, to make drag and drop reordering easier, especially on smaller screened mobile devices. @Lindy Hi everyone stop it now! im talking about the Bong from responded pages! there has to be a better way about this, here's a scenario prob most encounter often, you have ten windows open; each has 10 different tabs and than... you hear the bong! or two or three and sometimes four in short successions!!! i fond myself pupping up every page going through each tab looking where it came from by the time one flips through the tabs the 5 second message is gone from the page and that makes it even harder to trace where that bong came from! isn't there a better way about this? maybe color coding tabs? Hi. Can the ignore feature be updated so that if a user quotes an ignored user then: 1) Make it so that the quote isn't shown to them (like they have to click to see it) 2) Maybe hide the post (be like "this user quoted a user you ignored. would you like to read it?) Right now a lot of users complain they don't think the ignore feature is useful because other users can quote said user. I must agree with them.

In my opinion this option should be enabled by default, it will help to prevent overuse of formatting by inexperienced users(big rainbow effect) who even don't know how to paste clean text. Also, in my experience pasting of plain text is more often need than pasting of formated text. What do you think guys? Should be this option enabled by default, or at least should forum admins have option to choose the default state?

Hello, at the moment the software records every IP address in full length. Users who joined a couple of years ago have a huge history of these addresses logged. With the new GDPR this may become an issue as we have to assure that personal data (and IP addresses are personal data) have to stored in an economical way and only on a "must have" basis. What I suggest to implement is a function to make those IP addresses anonymous that are older than an adjustable threshold (e.g. all IP adresses older than 90 days, 6 months, 1 year ago or similar) The best would be a background task that is doing this job every night, every week or so. I'm not sure if this is a general bug or if it's just on my board, but I recently changed the names of the 3 subscription options we offer on our website to kinda help advertise that they were cheaper than normal. Nothing else about the subscriptions changed other than the price as insinuated. Since doing this, for some reason the system is allowing members to purchase more than one of the same subscription and is acting like the original subscription no longer exists? I need a Name form helper that works similar to the Autocomplete option of the Text form helper, but the input text is not 'tokenized' and supports only autocomplete on a single value. The Name form helper could extend the Text form helper with nameComplete options. The nameComplete options would include a source option and template options for the result items from the source. Have the event link on calendar widget jump to last page of event comments (or rather to last unread page of comments) - this is bugging my users who have to manually go to last page every time. Let me move forum posts to calendar event comments and vice versa - not sure why it is not possible right now, I know different entities and such, but those are just similar text blobs. Let me use calendar events comments in a post/topic flows, so that actively commented events can be listed alongside actively commented topics. More of the same, different entities, but similar stuff.
