I understand that full detailed reasons for this message to appear on a given marketplace listing does not necessary belong in public. But I still think that the clients that bought this resource deserve a bit more information. - Is it because the author is inactive? - Is it marked as such until a critical bug is fixed? - Is it because the application introduces security vulnerabilties (both intentional and unintentional)? - Why even though the listing is not available for purchase, the renewal fees are still active? Am I wrong in thinking that if I install third-party apps in my Invision suite that their keywords should show up in adminCP searches? As it stands, the search function seems only to apply to the Invision core apps; if I want to search for, say, @Adriano Faria's Invites app functions, nothing comes up. It seems to me that expanding search to include third-party app functions would be a good way forward.

Last night I have looked into address fields, geocoding and maps integration in IPS. When you use address field AND have maps enhancement (either Mapbox or Google Maps) enabled, you get nice piece of map. To see this in action, you can setup a Club with location. I like the idea to have maps out of the box. However there is a small issue. Technically IPS saves address AND coordinates (latitude and longitude) get from geocoding service. If you enable Mapbox first, then Mapbox is used to save coordinates. Unfortunately Mapbox is not nearly so gut as Google Maps. I really like the idea of displaying that someone is typing in a topic. However this info is being displayed in such a subtle way that I doubt that anybody will recognize it. And if haven't added the 'Recently Browsing' block, the info will not show up at all. So maybe there are other, more obvious ways to show that a user is typing? How about a (small) info box below the latest answer (just above the box where users would add their reply)?

The Validation status of a member needs to go back to the way it used to be. It is too confusing to members. They think they are approved as soon as they are registered. There need to be a separate group or status so that other members cannot see them and the permissions of members in validation can be controlled. It was better before.

Hi there. So I have two languages (PL, EN) and i set (in ACP) default lang to PL but Googlebot fetch pages in EN because its crawlers’ default IP addresses originate from the US. (checked in Google Search Console) Is it normal, how to set language only for Googlebot?

The most important part of a community is the content. This leads to the conclusion that finding and exploring of the content should be the main focus of a community. In IPS we have two different ways how new content can be found, fluid forum view and activity streams. If you have more content types than only forum topics your members will be confused when they browse in the fluid forum view but not find the other sites content like articles, reviews etc. in it. Hi, Blogs has a feature to import via RSS as does Forums, but it's still not available in the CMS add-on Pages. I'd like to create a new site using IPS and be able to automate the import of various site's national and local news and data feeds, severe weather warnings etc via RSS into Pages and match the relevant corresponding fields eg. image as article image etc. Will you be adding RSS to Pages Articles/databases any time soon? It would elevate Pages to a whole new level. Many thanks.

The current palate of color background choices for announcements is very limiting! It would be great to be able to select any color via HEX code and/or being able to manually set category names and colors.

I just finished our upgrade to IPB 4 (finally), & apparently I can tag banned users in posts. Is this normal behavior? If so, is there some way to prevent that from happening? Kevin's Rules app maybe?

Hey all, Would it be possible to include the event location as a part of the .ics file that gets exported when you click "download event"? That would be a very useful thing, since people may not want to subscribe to the entire event feed if they're just interested in a single event.

I've been using Gallery 4.3.x since it was released and whilst the bulk uploaded and touch nav is much better, I just can't get my head around the concept of viewing images in this release. It's just plain bizarre, perhaps even conceived to torment by the devil himself. Bear with me... Ask a question pops up for new logged in users or anyone browsing the front of the forum, get a small modal asking if they would like to ask the community a question. They would then choose the category section (in my case car model) and title and post box, they then post their question. This would then get submitted to the correct section and they would be sent to the section that the question was posted in. Also notification by email saying they have had their question posted by email/inline. 80% of my new registrations do not post, or older members struggle to know how to post.

A thing that always comes to my mind when browsing an IPS community on a mobile device is the navigation menu. Right now you have to scroll all the way up to the very top of the site and tap on a button in the upper right corner in order to open it. (Digression: I am also missing a "Go to top" button, because on Android devices + Firefox there is no other way to reach the top despite scrolling manually. Quite annoying, especially on sites with much content on each page. But that is a different topic.) Now after I bought a second plugin offering something not necessary if using the latest IPS release, it would be really nice to place a big bold notification in the product description at the marketplace. Something like this: Hey, this application is only needed if you are below 4.3 because then it was implemented by default. Thank you.

If I am posting this in the wrong place please move it. Here's my conundrum: I want to use Commerce to build an eCommerce website for a customer that will contain a fairly large family of physical products to sell. My problem is that once the products are created in the system, there doesn't seem to be an easy way of bulk editing them. My client will need to update pricing on a regular basis given that our local currency fluctuates a lot and the products they sell will need to be edited to reflect those changes on probably a monthly basis.
