Can't stand that the count is how many times each file in the bundle is downloaded. Which is was 1 count per user who downloads. We have folks uploading photos that are unzipped and unfairly getting into the most downloaded list.

Hello! The IPS Community Suite is actually the best software in so many aspects. The Reputation System and the Rank System are two powerful engagement tools, but it's still the same from a long time. People like to follow their own progress online, and trophies, medals or special badges are here to prove it. It would be nice if this system were natively improved. The rank system can be more advanced, showing to the members how many points/posts they should make to reach the next level/rank. I love this feature and several forums out there do have this option. When available, a user is allowed to edit his post, for example to make small changes and fix typo's, within a certain configurable time period (for example till 3 minutes after posting), without the "editted by" appears. After that time, or ofcourse when somebody reply's, the "editted by" will appear anyway. It's not the same as edit time, which can be for example 10 minutes, while edited by time is 2 or 3 minutes for example. Pro's: It allows users to fix some typo's without getting that "editted by" even after a second of editting. It looks a lot nicer on the forums …

We have some private clubs that handles vulnerable and private subjects, like AIDS or drugs abuse. These clubs should be only viewed by club members and every new member should be approved by the leader. We have following difficulties: if we create a closed club then everybody can see the list of members in these clubs. We do not want to show WHO is the member of the club because it implies that members have something to do with the topic. if we create a private club then nobody can find the club, users even do not know that these clubs exist on the site. The Plupload Queue Widget is a perfect interface for uploading large files like videos. Please consider implementing a new Form Field Helper for uploading Media (photos & videos) using the Plupload Queue Widget. It should be very simple to code since the suite already uses Plupload to upload attachments. Please make the helper as mobile friendly as possible as users are probably going to upload videos directly from their mobile devices. Also, add an "Edit Filenames" button to the "Add Files" and "Start Upload" action buttons. This would allow the user to set a more friendly filename for the uploaded video or photo.

Right now if you want to give a feedback to the report author it is a very cumbersome process - you need to initiate personal conversation, write title, copy report, quote it, etc. Most of the time I don't bother to provide feedback because of that. Which makes users feel like their reports are ignored or not appreciated. I think having the functionality to give a feedback to the report author with one click from mod cp will be great. Might be interesting as a third party add-on too I guess.

I've got a quick question for all you beautiful people. So basically a lot of the forums members on my site, have been asking if there is anyway to add a music bot/chat lounge that basically allows you to request music or play music to people who enter the lounge/music area, that way people can avoid using YouTube so often and can remain active on the forums whilst listening to music on there + paying attention to incoming traffic/posts. It seems silly, but if users can listen to music on our forums and request their own music, sort of like twitch does with !songrequest , it creates a constant activity on the forums and creates a more effective reason to keep people…

For all I know this might be a daunting task, but for those of us for whom word processors are a fact of life, it would be great to be able to upload a Word or LibreOffice document and have it converted into an article format. I don't mind writing in the IPB article interface, but when one has already written a document it would save a lot of time to simply upload it without copy/pasting and tweaking all the formatting manually. I'm not sure if there is a 3rd-party extension for this or not, and maybe this is one of my pie-in-the-sky wishes for the Suite, but from a writer nerd perspective it would still be very cool.

There is no administration tool that allows to see the activity of those who have participated in a survey. If I must analyze the behavior of a person, I must review all the existing accounts and analyze them one by one if the person answered the survey. In my community there are more than 80 accounts, which allow to evaluate and recommend the provision of a publicized service. With the current tools it is impossible to do central follow-up. This is a relatively minor but annoying thing for me when issuing invoices in Commerce: when you choose a Member for an invoice in Step 1 Customer, then move to Step 2 Settings, the Billing Address is blank. 99% of the time I need to open a new window and go to Members to access my Member's address to fill in the fields, when pre-populating the Billing Address with the Member's known address data would be much more convenient. Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but hopefully it would be a small fix.

It would be extremely helpful for those of us who are not coders or familiar with CSS to have an option to change the color of the icons (+create, notifications, messages, sign in and search) in the header with the Easy Editor. Our organization's logo has a white background so our header will be white and I'd like for those icons to be a different color. If you take a look at any of the Q&A sites, the ability to COMMENT on a question or answer is critical. Otherwise, you are trying to clarify a question using an Answer and they respond with another answer. Next thing you know, you have a bunch of answers which are just a discussion. It's garbage... I'd like to allow my vip members to only be able to create/manage clubs as long as they are in a special "vip member group", in which they are promoted by subscription after purchase. As soon as the member subscription (with a higher club role feature) ends, the permissions to be a club owner / club leader should automatically be removed or paused. Any ideas? Thanks.
