Create forum stream that sorts topics by start date

Hi, I can't seem to create a stream that sorts topics by the start date. Instead it only has an option for newest activity first or oldest activity first. All this does is make the sorting by who posted last in the topic, not sort the topics by when the actual topic was created.

I see in the Topic Feed block there is a setting that provides this ability (see below - the option to sort by Start Date 😀), but this ability is not in the streams 😥.

Is there some way to do this?
