Sitemap for status updates includes links like this: http://www.example.com/index.php?/profile/1-admin/&status=1&type=status If you open a link above and see in the source code you will find a canonical tag <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.example.com/index.php?/profile/1-admin/" /> For Google it will result in: Duplicate, submitted URL not selected as canonical Status: Excluded In other words: it does not make sense to add non-canonical links to the sitemap. Those links will be excluded.

Hi, I just wanted to make a post talking about a serious problem with IPS forums, and that is the credit card integration with Stripe for recurring payments. Currently purchasing a subscription through IPS with a credit card requires the user to manually store credit card information on the website. Not only is this option disabled by default for many users, but also in general... this undermines the reliability of recurring payments as a revenue source. Many of my users aren't even aware that they have not setup automated billing, and need to manually repay for a new invoice. Hi, I would like to make the following suggestion. When using both the core for forum functionality and the Commerce app for support tickets I find my self VERY often asking users to create a support ticket to follow up on a forum post. It would be great if instead of doing that I could click a button and automatically generate a ticket for that specific forum post which allows us to easily follow up in private. Hello, Not sure if this is the right place... A couple of months ago I asked in the Peer-Peer technical support forum if there was anyway to Print a full topic - now that for some unknown reason the "Print Topic" button that had been a part of the forums for years, has been removed. A 'frequent contributor' recommended the Show Full Topic plugin which I subsequently purchased from the Invision Community Marketplace. It doesn't work and I have not been able to get any response at all from the developers, InvisionHQ. => Is there anyway of knowing if a suggested plugin, or any product in the Invision Community Marketplace for that matter, actually…

The cards view is fancy, but there is too few characters of title that are shown on the card. Example: If we have 10 schools in different cities then it is difficult to recognize what club is for what city. The full names of the clubs in this example: International school of management Cologne International school of management Hamburg The same for forum cards.

We have a notification in ACP that pops up every day. It is just a recommendation. I have to dismiss this recommendation every day. It's annoying. Is it possible to dismiss recommendations for a longer period of time?

We use forums of type "Questions", the answers are rated and the best answers are chosen. The only thing that our users do not need and do not use is votes for the questions themselves. We have over 300 questions and not one of them has votes. It just does not make sense for some of our forums. In the list of questions number of votes 0 for each question looks not good. Like nobody is engaged in the forum: We wish we could switch off votes for questions for some forums but keep votes for answers.

On Calendar, titles are truncated if they are longer than the row can contain. Good for one-day events but not for those which span several days: The month view on this calendar isn't as pretty as IPS's but it does hold one clear advantage when it comes to multi-day events: It would be nice to see the same spanning rather than truncation in IPS's Calendar app too.

Just wanted to comment that for large communities we tend to generate the lions share of our revenue from advertising. This relies on page views to generate ad impressions. I've been wary of PWAs for this reason. Can anyone fill in the blanks on how a PWA won't decimate ad impressions (and revenue)? I typically turn off any significant Ajax features that impact this already.

Currently all animated PNG files are broken after upload in IPS. I've reported it in my client area as i considered this as a bug (#1036536), but got this answer: So this topic is a request for support an animation in PNG files :) Example: — broken file after uploading to IPS (no animation, 1st frame only) The same image before uploading (animated).

One (or both) would be interesting to me: The ability to use regex on the display name The ability to force a single or combined field name from profile fields. The simplest example is generating a display name by combining first and last names. Or it could be, if the site needed it, a combo of e.g. first name and nickname, or whatever. The point is that the display name could be a forced name. For my community, point 1 is the more important one. Thoughts anyone?

Great that we each have our own timezone. Makes sense. But the calendar should have a timezone drop down that way if I set the time for an event in Paris, the right time will show up for a user in either D.C. or Tokyo.

When a user purchase a product in the store, he does not have possibility to login in the checkout page if they have already a account. Why not add a step with the possibility to connect with username/password or facebook, twitter connect before step 1?

I've spoken to four clubs, real world membership clubs, about using my platform to manage their large clubs. They love the idea. However, without exception, they need more than a single fee. The simplest of them all has an individual annual fee, a family fee, and a lifetime fee. Has there been discussion, or is there a plugin (I looked but could not find) that addresses this? We are very active users of the calendar and upcoming events panel. Most of our members are seniors who are computer challenged, and so when they create an event is just "easier" to configure a repeating event to have it repeat "forever". We know from experience that nothing lasts forever, and so we would like to see an ACP option to configure the repeating events panel to actually NOT show the "forever" option. Forever may make sense for others, and so we are not asking that it simply be removed. Make it an ACP configurable option to remove it for our website, please. Thanks.

Hi there! Now there is no way to export a csv of my customers with total spent column inside... It would be nice to have this option, maybe even per product export (so it will be possible to see how much people spent with a subscription) or for a list of chosen products. Thanks!

While blog entries from the public clubs are shown on the community blog index, the events of the public club cannot be find on the community calendar. Even if I choose All calendars they are not displayed.
