Greetings. Just updated to the latest version and now the reply and quote boxes aren't working. I've tested this on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and OS mobile device. I see one other thread about this from a month ago, but that was specific to one Android mobile device user. Not sure how to resolve this or go about fixing it. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, We have problem with our IPS forum today. It is down, even after reebot of machine. I see that my forum license is due to expire shortly. however, as the server we are hosted on will not upgrade successfully to PHP8, the forum registration page fails, and as we have customised our forums, we can no longer update the forum software, if we allow the license to lapse, will the forums stop working or does the license simply allow us to access updates that we cannot install? Thanks in advance for any clarification.

Lately, same messages got posted over and over again, through old-registered users with minimal amount of posts, like someone broke in and found out passwords? Any idea what is going on here? In the last 3 days I've seen tens of such bots or humans.

Hello everyone, I have a huge problem, I was going to set up two factor authentication for Admin accounts, and before I've managed to set up everything else, IPB log out my account and now I'm stuck with this. There are no questions to set up, and no answers. How to reverse everything?

Hello. We are currently on a very old version and need to upgrade. It appears that it is not compatible with PHP 8.0 and we are currently running 7.4. Does the latest version support 7.4 or is there an intermediate version we can upgrade to in order to switch PHP to 8.0 to get to the latest? Thanks!

If you review the default Events under the Browse parent menu item/category, you'll see the following configuration: However attempting to duplicate this by creating a new menu item, you don't have the option to select Events: I want to do have this duplicate simply as a means to push higher priority menu items to the top level, while still maintaining the default behaviors of the parent Browse menu item/category.

I see that renaming a forum topic handles redirects from the original topic to the new one under the hood. I'm wondering how the redirect is done exactly, what happens if I rename a topic multiple times, and if it can hurt SEO, or if I shouldn't worry about it?

When we go to upgrade to 4.7.6 we get stuck in a loop - after clicking upgrade: Version 4.7.6 of Invision Community is now available -> Continue Third Party Resource Check -> Continue Large Database Updates -> Continue Takes us back to Third Party Resource Check and then gets stuck in the same loop There is no way to proceed? Any ideas?

I am currently using a plugin on my WP site that provides a little tab on the side of all the pages where a visitor can simply click and it creates a little popup where someone can type in a question or a request. You can see it on the right side of this page for example. My members have gotten used to this as I have that little tab for many years now. However, in the forum and the gallery, which are no longer WP, that little tab is no longer there. Is there something comparable that I can add, either natively or through an added module? Thanks.

1. One of our user is getting "Your account does not require validation" error. I tried to change his email and manually setting password. Nothing worked. User would like to login in their account ASAP. Please open ticket, so that I can share user ID. 2. I tried to search icloud and it seems his account is not showing up in members list. I've searched the forums but I'm having trouble finding the answer I'm looking for, and I realize I'm doing something that isn't really supported. How does IPS know when the install is "finished"? Is there a lock file or something put somewhere? For context: I'm trying to bake a docker container with IPS in it (Cache in Redis, Filesystem in S3, so it shouldn't need any persistent local storage...in theory). Hi guys, i have a problem on my community forum. When i enable "forum moderators plugin", blocks not working. Somebody know where its the problem? Anyone know how to fix these errors? I contacted my host, they replied "While checking we could see that the server is configured to use the current PST time and is accurate. Also the InnoDB MySQL engine is enabled and is running. Please see these can be rechecked." I have set up my forum to show, at the main page, the recent activity. That is fine. However, in some threads, there is also a side box, and I didn't put it there. Is that a dynamic content for the same box? It SEEMS like it is all the threads I started, but that seems to also be visible to non-logged in viewers. I don't mind seeing that on the admin account, but can I remove that for non-admin?
