Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me. I'm trying to do a test upgrade on my forum to IPB 4. I made a copy of all my main forum files into a sub folder, updated the conf file to reflect a new url and the backup mysql DB but only a white page loads making me unable to upgrade. Anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

Hi, I upgraded to the 4.0.3 release and now I seem to have  symbols in posts. I had this before when I moved my database to a new host but resolved it by changing the encoding I think.

Could some-one help me out? we did un update last friday, then we tried to apply the new skin. however: the drag and drop function is not working in the forum area. Ik does work for calenders ... as I cann ot reach the one who build the skin, is there any-one with a good advice??

Hey guys, Before upgrading to 3.4.7 I had different functionalities that depend on the random feature - random article for the day, random quote of the day and few others. Since, we do not have such random option in Pages now, 4.0.3 version (I hope they will add it in the future versions), I need to do it manually. As I understand it, now I need to create a custom PHP block with code that connects to the Pages database and then shows the random article. I have no idea how to do that after the migration to 4.0. I even do not know how to do the simple thing of connecting to the Pages database. And I really need this because multiple functionalities after I upgraded to 4.0.3…

Perhaps i am just over-looking something or perhaps this was removed in 4.0, but with 3.4.x if you have a parent category in IP.Downloads, that uploading was disabled on, and you had subcategories, if you clicked on the parent category you would see the files in the sub category in desc order of recently updated. Was this removed in 4.0 or am i just blind and not seeing how to make this happen?

Is there a way to bypass moderation in IP4? We have a special group that is given out to select members that allow them to upload files without moderator approval, but there is no longer a bypass moderation option in the group perms for downloads on 4, just trying to see if there is a setting somewhere that still allows it. -RazorSEdge

Yesterday morningI was testing Amazon S3 as a storageplace for profilepictures. By mistake I wrote wrong name on the storagebucket - and I'm not able to change it again. Hi, the default theme includes the Open Sans font (at least in the CSS). Nevertheless, it seems that in my community the font seems nothing like Open Sans. I would say it is more like arial or something. Is there a problem or something we should do to make it really working?

So I set it to renew, set the price and set 30 days. I set the original package to 0 and have it include in the price. Now I had two purchases over night while I tried to figure out how to make it subscriptions and neither of them were subscriptions, just one time payments. How do I make it turn into a subscription?!

Hello, I just saw sitemap for my forum on Google Webmaster and it isn't completely. It has less then 10.000 links (majority profiles) and on my forum I have apox. 20.000 topics. Can someone tell my why sitemap generator won't generate all of this? (I have sitemap "Number of items to include" set to "Unlimited") Mention: On IP. Board 3.4.7 it generate all topics with cron job.
