I have a self programmed Forum and many many Posts and Members, now i want to import them all to IPB.

Is there a "Format" that IPB can read and import? Where can i find a sample?

i see there are converters for the old system, i can just pick and create one format then import this to the old 3.4 system. after all make an upgrade to 4. is this the best way for now?

Without knowing your format I couldnt say for sure, but I think the safest way would be to do it that way if you can convert it 100% to the old system. :)

it would be nice to have a xml-based format for importing into the old or new system. is there nothing?
