I'm curious what the setting is to change the timestamp on the quotations. By default the board seems to say how long ago the post was made instead of saying the full date and time of the original post like it does here on the IPS community board. I can't seem to find the setting.

Hi Support, Does it possible so user can log into the forum with their website login details? Users should be able to log into forum with their website login credentials while i am using 4.0v of IPB. so they don't have to make 2 accounts on same website. Does it make sense? Thanks

I can't seem to find this in the 4.x version. In 3.4.x I have around 20 permission masks that allow specific users access to certain forums. Has that feature been removed from 4.x? Or did I miss a checkbox during the upgrade process? On my testsite I can see all users are only assigned to their default group. If the permission mask feature has been removed in 4.x, is it possible to have the upgrade auto-create the secondary groups (based on the permission masks from 3.4.x) and assign them to the members as well as have the associated forum permissions (read/write/view/upload/download/etc) assigned to those new secondary groups? Hey all, I'm getting this error when trying to install IPS4. Any idea what might be going wrong here? All the specifications came back alright when I tested for them before the install. I also just wanted to clarify - are there convertors for IPS4 that we can use yet? Or should I be converting for IPS3 and then upgrading after that?

I get this error code followed by this message: The plugin does not appear to be valid. Make sure that you have uploaded the plugin exactly as you downloaded it. Trying to load a theme (toolbar), in the toolbar section I go to add button, but its a theme (look) for the toolbar. The error message says upload the plugin exactly as you downloaded it and I have. I know that a theme is not a button, but I have to load it here seeing it is a zip file. Another question on the toolbar, I have to smiley icons how would I add them as one?

Hi, we have just migrated from VB4 to IPB 3.8 and then on to 4.07. We have played around with CMS blocks and are now facing an issue where the recent topics block will constantly reappear. I tried to delete it, even deleting the block itself, but the block keeps reappearing after deleting it on the CMS header. Did anyone have this problem before? Thanks!

Hello, okay i wanted to add icons for "Custom Profile Field" like youtube,facebook,google,PSN,XBOXetc..,but it the topic view they are vertically,one bellow other and this doesnt look very well and it took to much place. How i could modify it ,so they will be on one line, horizontally??? Check the picture please to get an ideas of what i am talking about.

Hi Guys, I restored an SQL Backup from about 30 minutes prior to the current board. After restoration i've lost all CSS as part of the theme. Images etc are all fine, just the CSS is completely awash. Any suggestions as to how to rebuild the CSS files? From what I can see all the CSS files are in the /uploads/css_built_1/ folder, but the random naming of them is different to what's in the <head> file on the forum.

Curious if there's any issue deleting Members directly from the database? We have just migrated to IPS and have a heap of spam accounts we would like to delete, however searching for them in the AdminCP then "Prune" all the results isn't working. So is there any negative impact just deleting them directly from the members table in SQL?

Please help! I have banged my head against the wall for 2 weeks with this. I'm trying to display record images on my front page but the images are invisible. It's working for a bunch of people but for me the images don't show even after reinstalling, tried a few different versions too. For IPB 3, I could easily change the default user photo by changing /public/style_images/master/profile/default_large.png and /default_thumb.png to basically whatever I want it to be. I know IPS 4 doesn't use the /public/ folder anymore. How do I change this now?
