I've upgraded to 4.0.8 and temporarily enabled Designers Mode (in an attempt to fix bugs from earlier versions). I'm now trying to disable Designers Mode, and it's stuck in an endless loading page. I have tried multiple times with the same result. This is on a live site, which won't cope well with DM enabled since it's resource intensive. Any help is appreciated, thanks.. Chat messages seem to be wiped after a few minutes. Is there any way to make the messages stay in the chat for longer? I'm referring to when you leave the chat and come back. Only the last couple of messages are visible.

I noticed on this last core update (4.0.8) that the character set needs to be set to 'utf8mb4' for the 'Emojis' to be correctly displayed. On investigating this I found: I noticed that my database Type is set to "utf8_unicode_ci". I have no idea about database structure, if someone knows. Should this be something that needs to be corrected so it doesn't cause problems in the future?

As of 4.0.7, my background processes continue getting stuck and my host doesn't allow to set 1 minute cron jobs. I'm also noticing hovercards not working at first. I have to hover over them 2 or 3 times before they pop up. Topics are the same as well. Sometimes they'll take ages to load but this is solved by reloading the topic twice which I don't like. I assume this has to do with processes not being done, but again, it doesn't let me do 1 minute cron jobs. What can I do?

This issue is probably just in my installation.I do not find in other forums. So here, not a bug report. Guests in my website when changing language receive an error page. Despite this message, the language is changed. If guests continue menu - everything works. Registered users no problem. I did a lot of tests. Only browser Opera visible link on incorrect crsfKey. When I recache browser (Ctrl+F5) - csrfKey other and change the language is no problem. After reloading the page, this is incorrect csrfKey dump again. This happens when tested by at least 5 browser. Where can I find this recorded csrfKey to remove it? PP. I did something else - in database erased …

Example link: http://forum.electricunicycle.org/topic/395-better-access-to-the-valve/?do=findComment&comment=4066 If I click it on the web it expands the photo. If I click it on my Galaxy Note 4 in Chrome (or even the stock browser) it downloads it as a file instead. Does anyone know if this a known issue that will be fixed?

I was testing the Videos application - after uninstalling that I just get a white page on my testboard. I don't think it is the videos app that caused it - there might be something wrong with my database. Anyway - my error looks like this (from latest store building cgi) I have deletes everything from datastore - I tried the "support" fix stuff, but that does not fix it. I have also looked for a sql error log i Cpanel - nothing there. Does anyone has a tip for where to look next?

Hi, I just upgraded one of our forums to 4.0. There are 13 million posts. After the upgrade we are getting constant table locks causing the pages not to load for several minutes. Then again it is fast as usual till the next table lock hits. I am not sure if this is even possible... Can I allow members to change the renewal terms of a subscription when it expires? I have a subscription setup as following: $9 for 30days$5 for 14days$2 for 1dayMost members buy the $2 to test out the product which I offer with the subscription and when it expires and they like it they want ofcourse to switch to another term, right now I have to change that manually for them in the ACP, is there a way to allow them to do that themselves? My only solution right now would be to use custom actions and delete the purchase completely from the DB onExpire... but it is something that I would rather not do. I really hope I'm just overloo…

How do you mass-change individual notification settings? Like... if you want everyone to receive an inline notification for the new "mention" function, after upgrade, how would you do that? This is just an example I am not sure how new settings are set after the upgrade as I have not done it, but there are some other settings I need this for as well. Is this not possible in the acp?
