Our board is hosted and has the latest updates. Since the last one, though, we've noticed 2 things. 1) Cover images can be repositioned, but the new position doesn't save. 2) We're getting the error message below. Once you post a Youtube link in the editor and click submit, it automatically embeds the player in to the body of your post. However, the default setting has the player much to large. How can I reduce the size of the player. I'm totally loss about are there or aren't there BB codes and where to find to them.

I know that with IP Board 3.0+ you were able to select a sub-forum and make it where any post created in that sub-forum would not appear in the "Recent Topics" side-bar module. Is this no longer supported with IP Board 4.0+ as I cannot find a way to do this.

Just upgraded to 4.0.9.2 and am getting the pages up fast however looking at the bottom left it says as it seems to keep loading the page "Establishing secure connection", then it blips back and forth to "Wiating for designzshop.com" for about 10 seconds no matter what page I go to. Anyone else experience this running full https? I don't have this issue using 4.0.8 on a different site on the same server, this just happened after upgrading my theme site.

I am trying to delete the values of a custom table using the "delete()" function. I just copied the code and change it a little based on the given code in the members page. The result was, the delete animation takes place but after the redirection the supposed to be deleted table reappears.

I am moving some forums around and notice that in the ACP one of the forums have MOVING/DELETING next to it and the forum is now gone on the board. I did not delete the form. All I did was drag it to a new position. How can I get the forum back?

upgraded to IPS4 this morning now i have no access to the admin panel the username and password works fine to go into the upgrade utility but trying to access the admin panel submit the login id and password and it will just ask fro username and password again with no errors any ideas?

So i upgraded to ipb4 about 6 days ago. the background process started and was moving at what seemed a normal pace then after about 3 hours hit a point were it pretty much doesn't move at all. Over the past 6 days its moved 2 percent for the 3 bars that are moving in the background process. if i click run manually it starts to run it normally for about 2 minutes then gets stuck in some sort of loop where it just refreshes and shows the '>' symbol were it should say what it's processing. This is annoying because the forum is down unil the background process is complete and it looks like it will be down for over a week. (ill also note we have 470k members and just as man…

In the ACP, I have changed the search type to Sphinx. Server address is 127.0.0.1 listening on port 3313. I have taken the sphinx.conf file and placed it in the forum root directory and started sphinx: searchd --c /home/whadmin/public_html/sphinx.conf and it starts up fine. When I click "rebuild index" in the ACP I get an error "EX1064 Something went wrong. Please try again." It doesn't appear that the sphinx.conf file is complete compared with 3.4

Just where and what are the timezone options for version 4 ? is the site timezone linked to the locality choice in the language setting or is it always by default UTC ? if UTC by default then is there any way to change it ? I can edit as admin the timezone or timezones detection methods for individual members via the acp members table but members can't choose themselves their timezone or method ? is that right? apologies if already posted but can't find much info with search

Can the following be done: 1. Email dispatched when a moderator makes a comment on a report? 2. If a member reports a post and a moderator comments in the report can the member view the report or receive an email that a moderator commented on the report? OK, I don't know exactly what the issue is... but when my location is displayed on my PostBit the Location and then the text are adjacent (and I mean immediately) to each other. I've looked through the language file to see if I could locate it, but there are several that use Location. I've tested changing the most obvious ones but it didn't resolve it. Where would it be changed at, or is this a bug? EDIT: OK.. think I figured out where it was.. it was in the Profile Fields as a Location custom field (brought in from the conversion from myBB?). Hey Guys, since upgrading to 4.0 all the RSS feeds are gone. At least I canoot find a single one anywhere on my page. Where can i enable this? Also I do not see any way to embedd the latest 10 posts or similar onto an external page. Is there a workaround for that? Thanks!

Hey guys! I got my own community since 10 years now. I did a lot of designing, creating new stuff, coding stuff, uploading stuff, installing plugins and so on. My idea now was to install a totally fresh installation of IPB4 and try to convert only threads, users, avatars used, posts and so on, just in order to have a totally clean version of a new board. As I tried installing a testforum myself for IPB4 it told me that my license is already in use... which... lets say... makes total sense. So.. do you guys have any idea how to fix my stuff?
