I tried to enable the designer mode in 4.0.10.2 (it was working before the upgrade) and i received the error attached. Since it is not pointing to the full 'themes' path could anyone tell me in which folder do i need to create or give permissions to the themes folder? Thanks in advance, Dimitris

I have a block that I use to take the latest message from a forum. Since the 4.0.9 update, my block no longer working. It does not save the source forum selection. I tested with browsers: Firefox (last version) and Chromium (last version). The bug is still 4.0.9.2.

Just went to my board for the first time this morning. I click on "New content" and it says "There's nothing here yet". I have these 3 filters checked: But when I look at my board there is clearly new stuff and I have email notifications about new replies. What's wrong?

Hello, We have a forum in french, and like in spanish or other latin languages we have accents in forum titles like : "Réseaux sociaux" which gives a weird url : /communaute/forum/67-r%C3%A9seaux-sociaux What we would like to have is : /communaute/forum/67-reseaux-sociaux How could we get that ? as it is much better to share the second url than the first one above Tx for your help !

I have had reason lately to take my board off line but even though it is showing as being offline a number of posters are able to post. I've checked the permissions in their user group and they all are showing that they shouldn't be able to access the board when it is offline! An ideas please as to what might be causing this?

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out how to change the upload limit in the "manage resources" section of the IPS4 ACP. Right now its trying to tell me the max upload is 1.2MB, However, My max upload on my hosting account is 1GB, I know that because i checked and i also had my host check. The max upload is 1GB and i can't figure out how to change that max upload limit in the ACP so i can upload a background that's less than 2MB -_-. So, My question is, How do i change the upload limit so the ACP will let me upload the background? Thanks guys.

I was attempting to go through the support tool to submit a ticket regarding failing to upgrade my testsite to 4.0.10.1 when it wiped out all CSS. I tried changing back to the default theme, tried the 3rd party themes, tried even the IPS Support theme that the tool created, and all I see is the image below. I looked at the source and I do not see the CSS files listed. Any idea on how to rebuild the CSS files?

Is there any option to use FURLs with IP Suite on a hosting with disabled -MultiViews? Wordpress link rewriting works fine as it doesn't use that parameter. My hosting doesn't allow Option -MultiViews and when I asked about it they said that it won't be turned on for security reasons. So, anyone knows a workaround?

Hi, I've tried searching to no effect. After upgrading to IPS4.0.9.2, I've just realised that all of the my gallery category photos are in reverse order to how I used to have them. For example, a category of photos of a carnival parade, the end of the parade show first, with the start of the parade on the last page of images. Visitors to my site can obviously change the sort order, but I want to set it correctly so they don't have to. In AdminCP it says Default Sort Order: Recently Updated, but there is no longer any sort option eg A-Z, Z-A etc Has this been removed? If so, why would IPS do this in a Gallery, where setting the control over what order you need to display t…

This IPB site is fast in Firefox for me, but browsing my own site http://community.brickpicker.com is painfully slow. Works fine in Chrome, but it spins and waits a lot when you visit after a few moments. It gets better when you click around for a bit, but overall nothing speedy. My moderators have mentioned it to me as well. They keep saying "site is really slow today" then i find out they are using Firefox, when I say to try chrome, they tell me it is much better.

I've looked all over the Moderator CP, but don't see any way a Global Moderator can ban a member. Is there a setting in the Admin CP permissions that I'm missing or are Global Moderators now unable to ban members? Thanks!

I just noticed a triplicate user (same username and email). He registered via Tapatalk, how is it possible that tapatalk was able to circumvent the validation process to prevent this? Wouldn't the api they use do this sort of check?

The Who is Online widget shows a members + anonymous + guest count when in horizontal mode, but in vertical mode, guests are omitted. I checked the widget template and it seems that the $guest variable is simply not available when the widget is in the sidebar. Anyone knows a simple way to show the guest count in the sidebar or even globally? It helps to show first-time visitors that the site is actually quite busy and therefore possibly worth joining.

It seems I keep getting blocked from the support forum (This forum) by Icapsula when I include links or images in my posts/PMs. I had a friend of mine test sending me a PM with an image/link, and he reported the same thing.

Just wondering if there is a simple way to use a service like MaxCDN for the js/css files. I already use Amazon S3 for images in the gallery and attachments.
