Hello i currently try to create a small bug tracker with the pages system but the documentation is not existing yet. I m already start stucked on moving a new field to it right position Here is the field i created in the database i set the template key to version so i created a new template for the record form to edite it... here is the spot (in the sidebar) where i want the version number field to appear any help would be welcome what do i have to change to make this happen? Is there any code snipped?

Hello, Since I was unable to receive any response from the Marketplace discussions, can anyone please advise if you managed to have Members Flags application (profile fields) running on 4.0? Since there is not upgrade available yet, I assume you couldn't. Is not there anyone who could 'take over; the application and upgrade it for us? I would very much need to have it running and I believe I am not the only one? Many thanks,

If you go to my articles page: http://www.smartestcomputing.us.com/index.html/ "Latest articles" are displayed three times. Then if you scroll down to "Categories" and you click on any link there the very same page is displayed. Is there something wrong with my settings or should I open a ticket?

I'm trying to figure out how to show the results from different calendars on different pages. For example, if I have Calendar1 and Calendar2 and it has two sets of dates in it. One the main page I want all dates from all calendars to show. This appears to be the default functionality with both the calendar and the calendar sidebar widget. But suppose I want Calendar1's dates to display on page X and Calendar 2 dates to display on page Y in the sidebar, while still having all dates show on the main page as usual. I'm guessing I need a custom sidebar widget, but I'm not sure what code to change to call a specific calendar instead of just ALL of them. (forgive me if this …

Hi, I don't completely understand the profile fields, as I'm about to edit the registration data that will be visible for new members when registering. 1. I have located the profile fields / personal information / about me BUT where can I find the fields that are already there like "display name", "email address" etc, and how can I make them not mandatory? 2. If I'm going to add a new field, should I push the red button "+create new", OR should I choose "add another field" under "personal information", or should I edit "about me". Best, Stig

I have a lot of members who sell stuff. Currently they post images in forums or their albums and ask members to contact them. Is there a way to give a member who wants to sell items their own "store"? I am assuming I could create a Product category for each seller and add their products to that group. But I am not sure how to go about payments. If I set it up as Manual, I have to be the one approving each transaction. Fine for my stuff, but I don't want to have to do this for all these members. Ideally, I would like to direct the buyer to the sellers PayPal account. I am assuming I could set up a PayPal Payment Method for each member (i.e.; PayPal Member 1, PayPal Member …

Hi, Earlier, Ralf posted a great example of how to change the look of images displayed in a Page record at the following link. I'm trying to do the same for the {map} and {address} variables, but I'm having difficulty figuring out how to implement the proper structure for the code to show the map at the right size and where I want to. Does anyone understand how to implement this within the custom section? Or how to code a separate template? Thanks all.

Hi, I take the Vimeo embed code and paste it into the editor, but it just shows up as text. What is wrong? I know I can take the www.vimeo.com/29324 link and paste into there, but I need to use the code as there is aspect ratio and stuff that need to be adjusted. Best, Stig

The licensed version can not create a group name in Russian. Actually there is some definite limit, after which it is truncated at the end of a question mark in box. However, if the write in English no such problems. What's the matter? And the English all ok.

Hi, I only have 1 calendar, the standard calendar, in use.... the calendar in IPB 3.4.x was updated 2 days ago by the technical support, but now it shows next to each displayed event in the sidebar additionaly the calendar name. But I only want to show the event in the sidebar WITHOUT the "calendar name". Or at least, if the calendar name must me displayed and cannot be removed, it should show calendarname and the according event with a line break like this <calendar name><line break> <event> Regards Tom

I just bought an IP.Chat User plan with 50 users, but it still only shows 5 users possible (and 5 user work fine, but only 5!). I already reloaded the license in the forum backend and it shows 50 user limit. Whats wrong? Any cache problem? How long do I have to wait for the automatic activation for 50 users? Hello, we just found out that special characters (i.e. in german: ä ü ö ß) are not being converted correctly in URLs. In German we also have long versions for those characters. They should always be used für URLs and not the special character itself. Ä, ä => ae Ö, ö => oe Ü, ü => ue ß => ss So Threads should be converted like following example: Thread title of: Was für ein Glück should be converted to: 54659-was-fuer-ein-glueck/ But the current ipb version makes following wrong URL: 54659-was-f%C3%BCr-ein-gl%C3%BCck/ Those kind of URLs are terrible. What is the equivalent of this now? It seems I can't get ?do=findComment&comment=X to work. In fact a link like topic/416166-34-features-missing-in-40/?do=findComment&comment=2557393 doesn't seem to work in the instance where a post has been moved to another topic either, which I thought it was meant to do. Is this a bug?
