I recently discovered that when a member register on my board they get redirected to the error page once the "submit" the registration. It is supposed to be the "look in your inbox for confirmation email", but it's not. How come?

I have searched but can't quite find the right answer. I have already changed under global_config my site to "HTTPS". When enabling HTTPS on your site I have noticed that on older posts with images I will get the mixed content warning in my browser. The rest of the site is fine under HTTPS. Is there anyway to make the older images push out under HTTPS? I thought under the ACP when you enable REMOTE IMAGES>SERVE IMAGES FROM LOCAL SERVER that this would download the images and then push it back out under the site locally so you wouldn't get the mixed content warning. we've got a forum for a community that consists of a few clans and we've extended our forum to these clans so they have a home by providing them with their own private category that only their members can access. with this comes a lot of work for new clan members that sign up or join a clan since only admins can move users to a group which can access their respective clan category. is it possible to assign a clan leader some kind of admin privilege over their category so they can admin their own section? rather than 4 or 5 different clan leaders asking me to pin topics, etc... or would it be possible to give these clans a sub domain with their own category/subforum on …

Paypal have changed something according to IPS support i have contacted paypal and to date had nothing back from them It looks like i need to set something up or do a tick box in paypal for mass payments but i cant find it, all my API settings are correct and this used to work ok on commerce (nexus) payout requests Any clues from anyone who has fixed this issue ?

I would prefer to select albums or categories, and then pull a single image to display in a block, then after a short period of time the block would automatically select another random image from the same selection criteria. This was an older feature in IPB3 that was really nice to use.

Not sure if it has anything to do with yesterday's IPS servers downtime but I just noticed today that any YouTube link I try to post gives me following error: The link could not be embedded because of an unexpected error: Internal Server Error: "Something went wrong. Please try again.".

Title says it all. I wish to "punish" a User who insists on challenging the Moderator through his avatars. Otherwise he is a longtime contributing User. Can anyone think of a way to prevent him from uploading or showing his avatar?

I see no indication anymore when you have a member to validate such as when they changed their address. I had to be contacted by the member and then went into admin, clicked members, and the cilcked validating and there he was. That is just a bad deal if that is the case. I don't want to have to go hack around to see if I have to do anything in the admin and also have members have to use the contact form to let me know they are in the queue. Any admin task pending should be front and center as a temp message when entering the admin function (in my opinion).

Hi, Right now on my website the latest posts block displays the latest posts made on a thread, which is what I want. But it lists the original author and original posting time of the thread itself, which I do not want. I'd like it so that it shows the author of the latest reply and the time of that reply, instead of the original author. How can I set this up? I can't seem to find a plugin for it and there's no configuration option either. Thanks!

I thought it would only be a temporary thing, but this has been going on since yesterday. I use Safari on iOS for many reasons, and will not switch my browser. I did check Firefox (that is how I am posting on here) and it works. That would be these forums, obviously. Anyways, I went ahead and checked my board I just created in mobile on both browsers and while the results are not similar, Safari on iOS is broken as images don't load. Is there any reason why two blocks, both made in the editor, one on the front end, the other in Pages will not line up? The one on the left is made with the editor on the front end. The one on the right is made with the editor using Custom blocks in Pages.

Has anybody had any RECENT luck trying to get the google maps api key to work? I had it working before but now.. i keep getting this error when i copy the key in That API key is not valid or does not have the Google Maps JavaScript API and/or Google Static Maps API enabled. Make sure you have followed all of the steps in the setup instructions. You may have to wait a few minutes after enabling the API for it to take effect.

I stumbled upon a rock when installing my message board. My license key is on another message board I use to host but got purged. I sent IPS Tech support an email, are they usually pretty nice when it comes to transferring the URL license? The domain is completely different. Edit: I got the key authorization fixed through support, however, I have ran into another problem. My board is installed under "public_html", but is only accessible through "http://mydomain.net/index.php", whereas I'd like it to be accessible through "http://mydomain.net". Hey all, I have used IPB quite a bit in the past and the installation was very smooth. However, I decided to reactivate my account and noticed that my message board installation isn't functioning. I uploaded and extracted the files under "public_ftp", and the main contents are there. I have "admin" > "install". You think my installation page would lead to "http://mydomain.net/admin/install/", but it's not going through *yes, I know to change "mydomain" to my actual website). I'm not sure if something is wrong on my board, but when a user sends me a message, I get a notification AND a new message alert. So basically I get alerted twice for the same action. Is this intended? I have switched off the notification for "When I receive a message" to see if this helps. ------------------------- This seems to have solved it, I don't think this really makes sense to have two notifications if you have the notifications enabled when "I receive a message" If I turned this off, I would expect NO notification whatsoever...

Hi, in our point of view the standard settings of embedded gallery content is not perfect. The pics are being shown in 40x40.
