Okay guys a bit if assistance needed here. I may be missing the obvious but in IPS 4.1.x is there a way of mass deleting old file attachments from the forums? I can do a search to show old attachments I want to prune but it looks like they have to be deleted individually. I've got 57 pages of files I want to prune so that would be a nightmare to complete. Any tips would be appreciated.

Is it possible to somehow force HTTPS for visitors except those running XP, or allow specific users to enable SSL for themselves? I purchased an SSL certificate for my site and set everything up, but because I use CloudFlare they "proxy" that certificate even if I have one of my own (upgrading to a plan where I can change that costs $200/mo). I would like to use HTTPS for the whole site, but I do have a couple users still on XP that would not have access as a result. I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle this. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

i am sharing this for those who don't know about fsb feeds...do you want to feed your Facebook post 2 your website and have more visits from your own website this is for you..what this do is poll from your website and take your post and add it 2 you feeds..so i use it with the wedgit looks better than ips4 freedz RSS Feeds

My forum was hijacked! I have NO CLUE what to do It's a starting forum, and has seen quite success, this will destroy us,. So, www.a7xforum.com - redirects on mobile, try it. Even on chrome, if you go to dev console and click preview as phone or whatever, it will do it! Any ideas why? Thanks a ton!

Hi, I have just finally upgraded my site to 4.x. I use aMember for management of users as there are other components to the site that require sign-up. Under IPB 3.x it was possible to redirect the login and sign-up pages to external URLs i.e. the equivalent aMember pages, but for the life of me I cannot find this ability within 4.x. Does it exist? I see there are others using aMember. How have you got round this?

What happen if I have 3 or various type of members, gold member, regular member and premium member. Or chinese member, spanish member and english member.... Is possible when the users registering, can choose what group they want to join?

Hello, I'm new to using IPS' RSS feeds and wanted to ask how I should do this. I want to export topics from a specific forum on an IPS board (board A, we'll call it) in a forum that can only be seen by staff (for example). I want to import those topics from IPS board A to IPS board B to a specific staff forum. I also want the RSS feed (or whatever I should use in this example) to preserve the [hide] BBcode tags (from TB's Hide Content plugin) and the content inside of those hide tags (so it properly formats on IPS board B. How should I do this? RSS feeds? I'm not sure how to approach it and want to ensure I do this correctly. …

Suppose you have 1 page of 24 members to validate and you wish to validate only 22 of them - how do you do that on one page like 3.4 allows? In 3.4, the validating page has a checkbox next to each member. So I can check the ones that I wish to mass validate while not allowing others. Is this possible in 4.1 ? ? ?

Hello ! I have an issue with my menu: there is a menu entry which I want to delete, but it doesn't show in the menu ACP section. Here are 2 screens: As you can see, the "Grande Bibliothèque" menu doesn't show in the ACP. Please note that some menu entry are using IP.Content module, and some others are external links... Hi all, We're experiencing issues with people from a malicious website linking to us and sending malicious traffic to us. We want to redirect them to a legal disclaimer page. So any referral links to our site from their site that are clicked on via their site would be taken to the legal disclaimer page. I searched and could not find an answer to this question. I have many pages in IP Content, in recent time I added two new user groups. I cannot find a place where I can assign those new user groups permission to view various pages. When new pages are created it is easy to assign them to all groups, but the existing pages did not have a permission setting for these new groups as they did not exist when the page was created. I can go to each page and change the permission settings for the page individually, but I have over 300 pages. Is there a way to assign permissions to the pages in bulk?

Hello In one of the later versions of IPB 4.x direct support for piwik analytics code was added. I'm using piwik together with the forum now for about a year - previously just using the Google Analytics section for piwik. I've read through the JavaScript API of piwik that it's possible to pass on the member name to piwik to better distinguish known / unique users to visitory: http://developer.piwik.org/guides/tracking-javascript-guide#user-id Is it possible to use placeholders in that analytics settings section? What is the safest value for guests and logged in members? Thanks
