Hi all, as usual, sorry for any grammatical errors I've make some search but without find an answer (probably I've used some bad criteria) I would translate: %s replied to %s's %s in English result: somebody replied to TexFanatico's topic in In Italian, we have an other construction, and the translation would be: qualcuno ha risposto alla discussione di TexFanatico in Has you see, the 2nd and 3th %s have to switch (or, actually, I haven't find a translation that can maintain the English %s position structure) Someone have any idea? Hello ! Today, I was checking my emails queue in WHM and I noticed three strange emails : The emails contain only the strange email adresses. The sender is my board (it's my own email adress). The destinations are the strange email adresses : How can I learn more about this ? Should I worry about it ? Thank you !

Hey!! I am having issues with my IP board. When searching for my website name on google the first results are like member profiles, registration, and the homepage, like not relevant ones. And the description is a text that a member have posted in my forum,- like what? And the forum that is showed in the results- have the description of one of the most unactive subforums on my board, which makes no sense to me. I also did a SEOcheckup and it says I have too many heading tags. How do i delete those? Please help I'll upgrate the thread as time goes too i think cause I experience bad SEO every time. Hello Friends... I have a forum with IP Gallery and i upload 7 to 10 gallery everyday. I am looking for a block/widget which can display latest albums with any random image from the album. I see block to display latest images in the sidebar/header/footer... but how can i display latest albums? Can anyone help me on finding the right place to search for it?

Should there be a counter when someone reports content? I don't seem to get a counter. I receive the email but never see the counter (I do for messages and notifications though) When I click the dropdown the new reports are there but it would help if the counter showed.

The following seems to happen only with RSS posted content, any other prefixes display just fine, I appreciate any help tracking this down and making it display properly. Additionally, how can I get the "X views" content to be a little larger? (yes, i hid number of comments with @TAMAN's help)

Hello, I am trying to understand how sitemap option in ipb4 works and below are my questions.. My forum has 1000's of posts everyday and i am using recommended settings for sitemap in IPB admin area. Does the site map generate every day when the content is updated? Does it only update titles or even the content?

Hi, As per title, is there a way to prevent some member groups (especially guests) from accessing All Activity i.e. https://domain.com/discover. We can hide "All Activity" menu item from certain member groups, but I realised that the "All Activity" is still there for guests to view. So I am assuming what they don't see is the menu item but they still have the permission to go to https://domain.com/discover.

Missed some upgrades, and now i have this error. 5.6.33 is newer then 5.1.3 and even 5.6.2, isn't it? 1C287/2 You are running PHP version 5.6.33-0ubuntu0.14.04.1. You need PHP 5.1.3 or above (5.6.2 or above recommended). You should contact your hosting provider or system administrator to ask for an upgrade.

Hey all, I have another application that I'm connecting to the ipb database and using the data. I am trying to understand how to fetch related topics by tag, but this is such a confusing architecture i find myself making big circles back to where I begin. What I know: The `core_tags` contains all of the tags that are in use currently, and they have these hashes for aai and aap lookup, which I have yet to find a connection between those and the topics themselves. I imagine that is the secret ingredient, So if anyone understands the database architecture and provide me with a mysql query to fetech posts by tag please help me out! Thanks

In v3 we were able to wrap some text with [extract] [/extract] in the product description. Though the entire text was the full description of the product itself, the text within the [extract] [/extract] was extracted as-is and used as short description on lists and what not. This seems not to be working in v4. What is the alternative v4? Or has this been removed in v4? Regards,

Hi, has anyone managed to externally embed gallery images at all? I've never got it to work, even with the default template, as it hides all of the images. I did raise a bug but it was closed without any proper response. So if anyone has an example of it working, or can share their template I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Hello i need help in what i need to do to fix this. i tested the sitemap provided in the admin cp and entered it on webmasters tool at google, so that it crawls the urls again after i enabled the friendly urls this is the result google gives after testing the sitemap : what does it mean? I must be missing something as I can no longer choose which forums are polled when creating an activity stream in the ACP.. My exisitng streams work, but i need to add a new one which only polls certain forums, however the option is missing? I do see the new steam filter bar when I view the stream, but it only appears to allow me to save edited streams as new personal streams. What am I missing? I really need to edit my existing acp defined streams... Sincere thanks in advance, Shawn

I'm looking at removing a few pieces of data from the forum list view, see image below... • Remove extra tags • Remove number of replies • Remove latest interaction member data • Move tag above title for cleaner look. My IP keeps getting added to the ban settings with reason as API. I created an API key and passed the key and the response I got was { "errorCode": "1S290\/A", "errorMessage": "IP_ADDRESS_BANNED" } As soon as I touch the site, my IP gets banned. Any thoughts? BTW I'm 100% new to this stuff =( This is a fresh install as well.

Hey all, does anyone have any idea why, after upgrading to IPS4, none of my post data shows up. Every topic I open looks like this: Yet all of the lists of topics and everything else with the site seems to be working. It's literally just the post data that is having problems. The background tasks from the upgrade are still running, but everything I've read on these forums implies that shouldn't result in post data being completely missing. UPDATE: I found and checked the posts table and it's completely empty. The orig_ibf_posts table has 4.6 million posts, but the new posts table is completely empty. I received an email from Google a few days ago telling me that my site had been compromised. I didn't see any malware when accessing directly, but only realised that my site was being redirected to a malware site via search results. I deleted the .htaccess file that was responsible for this and put in place an old backup for the time being. I've now checked again and can see users get access to site via search as they should. I just want to know how I can protect the .htaccess file from being compromised in future. This has been a one off event over 4-5 years so don't consider the site vulnerable as such. Hi, I would like to insert notes für guests in each first post of a topic after a specific number of characters. For example after 255 characters of the post. On my forums, the 'Views' is stuck on 0, and despite changing themes-even back to default it hasn't fixed. I've look into maybe one of my plug-ins causing the error,but it's not working. Is there a setting for this somewhere that I just can't see it?

Klicking on a Post in: discover/unread/ or: discover/content-posted does not take me to the displayed post but to the fist! my members are confused with this and me too. this behavior is only okay posts created byself like here: discover/content-started/ any other stream should be the same as in: /discover/ how can i change that so it is like everywhere else in the forum?
