I want to move from self-hosted to Community in the Cloud with a new project I am working on. But I am forced to use self-hosted, because 90% of the platform is gatekept behind higher pay... Why use Community in the Cloud, when self-hosting gives us the whole platform? Also, the marketplace is going away... This is heartbreaking and makes me want to jump ship to a different vendor. Hello, I've been using Stripe for years without any problems until now. But I've just noticed today that when I tried to add a new Stripe payment method (like Apple Pay, Giropay etc), It shows this error on my Dashboard. "There is not a webhook set up or it does not have all required event types enabled. The following events are required: source.chargeable, charge.succeeded, charge.failed, charge.dispute.created and charge.dispute.closed" This is happening all of a sudden now because I successfully added another Stripe payment option a few days ago. I have created a custom block (WYSIWYG) with some text. The block looks different depending on where I place it with Block Manager. In Forums, it has a white background: In Pages, it does not have a white background Questions: Is it possible to create a WYSIWYG-Block that looks the same on every page? Is it possible to remove the white background on the block, when placed in Forums? I need a solution without custom CSS (the blocks will be added by the community manager without CSS knowledge). A custom plugin is not possible as this is a Starter cloud package, where custom plugins are not allowed.

Hi - Has anyone else received letters from Meta saying the Facebook API is not in compliance? Here’s a copy of one of the letters we got: All we use Facebook for is so people can use their FB credentials to log in to our forum if they want. Maybe the best move is to just disable it in the ACP and forget it exists? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thx, dB

While adding new fields to a CMS/Pages database, if you go to the Display options tab, the Show Map & Map Size fields (for both listing and display views) are always shown. Those 4 fields are supposed to be visible only if the field type is Address. 🙄

In an attempt to fix an error in which our new website (new.173rd.us) was unsuccessfully drawing from the old site's (173rd.us) file directory, I initiated an unintended file transfer that has resulted in a loss of UI integrity and formatting. I'm assuming this is because the site can no longer find the CSS files to tell it how to look. We have changed from using this SSO plugin to using the the MiniOrange SSO to link between Wordpress and Invision. We are having issues with users who were logged in during the switchover, everyone else is fine. They can access WordPress but when they try to go to Invision they get a too many redirects error. We have logged everyone out of WordPress and also used the button in Invision to log all users out, but I don't think that actually worked. People are still getting the issue. The only way it seems to resolve is by going to an incognito window or a device they have never used before and logging in that way. Is there any other way to get around this wit…

Hello, I have always used the forum option with my records in some databases to create a forum topic for those records. I also used the topic for the comments and such. A while back I changed how this was done and no longer used the topics, so I deleted the old topics. Now I would prefer to return to using topics for the comments, but there does not appear to be a way to return the topics themselves. I tried the rebuilding options that state they will create a new topic if one does not exist, but that does not appear to work in this case. Any advice or am I out of luck?

It's been a while but never really did anything and even though I have adjusted the settings it doesn't do anything unless I'm missing something. The thumbnail images from the gallery page are very pixelated even on default settings and I changed it to 500x500 and still pixelated. Yet when I go on other sites they are not pixelated. 500x500 works also depend on the image also which makes it bad - The system had to take time for it to catch up and do it's thing, had over 500 images and so it has taken time to do each one 🙂 So resolved. 500x500 should be default hahaha

My community has a 'news' forum where users can post interesting news topics to share with other members, that are then converted to Pages Records in a 'news' database if they are interesting enough for our mods/admins to write stories about. I have noticed that the new Analytics button does not work on Page Records that have been created as a result of a 'Copy to Database' conversion. It works fine on the original topic, however. Hey guys, After I went AWOL from my forum for a few years, my site was completely overrun with spammers. Now I’m trying to clean it up, and already I’ve deleted hundreds of thousands of spam posts (literally – half a dozen spammers had ~50,000 posts each!) 😬 Anyway, I’m now cleaning up the long tail of ~1000 spammers who’ve made 50 posts or less. I’ve identified these on a spreadsheet, and am now ready to build my SQL query to do some mass culling. My question is… what’s the best way to tackle this? Hi guys, I am experiencing an issue with an upgrade. Stalled out on me with the following message: We were unable to start a PHP session. You will need to contact your host to adjust your PHP configuration before you can continue.
