The Copy Topic to Database feature is pretty nifty and works well. How about the reverse? Is there a way to move a database record to a forum Topic? Realizing only Title, Content, Author, and comments would be retained but this would be very useful. Is it possible?

I really need your services. I will be happy to pay top dollar :>> I have a IPB at www(dot)powerforum(dot)co(dot)za it is : Invision Community v4.2.7 I used the admin panel to try upgrade to the new BETA version. (4.3.0 Beta 2 ). However after following the wizard in the admin panels downloading the package at step 3 it always jumps back to step 1 and corrupts the forum. I will very much like to pay you for your work. Do let me make a full site backup before you have look, I will really appreciate this . I will be so happy if you can help me. Forgive me if this is already covered somewhere; I did try searching first... I have just activated Clubs and I intend to replace my ancient private forums with secondary member groups system. Is there a way to bulk add members to groups, or is it just by sending out invites through the Club interface?

Anytime I receive an PM email from a member that has special characters in the display name odd characters are in the display name - Ramblin�?? Jack has sent you a message! - in this case there is an apostrophe behind the n in Ramblin' Is there any way tp prevent/stop this from happening? Thanks

I have upgraded to 4.3 beta and am getting the following message in many places on my site: "The search index is currently processing. (whatever you are at) results may not be complete." My guess is the resolution to this is to rebuild the search index from ACP.

Hi, I can´t figure out why the month names in the upcoming events widget shows the text %OB. It have worked before, but after last update this happened. Anyone have any clue? For a breath of a second when loading the page, the correct names are displayed.

Hi, Just brought an application ( Super Show ) from the marketplace. Is there a way I can add a blank page to the content items so I can put the blocks where I want them without being tied into anywhere else. IE - I am looking to click on a new tab I make within Menu Manager and it gives me a blank page. All it seems to want to do is allow me to use a redirect, dropdown etc. Thank you.

Hi folks, how do you do your testing, which caching method is the best in your specific environment? I am asking because we did the switch to PHP 7.2.3 /w OpCache this week. We were using Redis, because it was recommended to us, but I don't seem to see a difference in speed of site using it or not (GTMectrix or Pingdom). Stock PHP /w OpCache seems to be fast as well. I currently have my forums in http:// subdomain.domain.com however subdomain is actually a folder of domain (www.folder.com/subdomain). and I would like to use the Pages Gateway function so that when people go to my website at www.eotir.com they can be routed at the Forum CMS/Pages site accordingly as if my forum was set up as a subfolder an not a subdomain. The problem is when I go to Pages, then click on Advanced settings in order to set the Gateway, I get this message: "Your Invision Community suite is already installed at the root of your domain." When using the old IPB forum, when we had a registration who had an email address that was in the banned list, an Admin did a few checks on the person and if they passed was manually added. However, the new IPB will not allow Admin to manually add a person who has an email address in the banned list. We dont want to add that banned email address into the allowed list incase of future spam registrations. So, is there a work around to this problem?

On my site we've been using 4.x for a short time, and "Members Viewing This Topic Now" is one of the things our members miss from 3.4 I looked around to see if a third party plugin existed and couldn't find any, which I find surprising. So, just checking with other members in case I overlooked.

Dear all, I had an existing forum at /forum while one vb4 Now I moved to root domain with IPB As IPB takes 'forums' by default, the earlier link like: website.com/forum/text-text.html now are website.com/forums/text-text.html Now I want all the earlier URL with website.com/forum-text-text.html to point to website.com/forums-text-text.html Any help will be appreciated.

I had a member who has definitely won many, many days PM me recently to inquire as to why he has, on his profile, only 1 day "won" when he is certain (as am I) that this number was much higher the last time he checked. I recalculated everyone's reputation, and it remained at 1. Furthermore, my own total sits at 19, which I know was significantly higher the last time I checked. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It seems as if "days won" counts were reset at the beginning of the new year (January 1, 2018). Can anyone else speak to this? If so, what the heck?
