I'd like to add a little extra styling to text links in all areas (forum, pages, calendar, etc) but can't figure out a simple css declaration without unintended consequences. hi I have the regular member group and it cannot sent a pm with text, they can attach only a file, there is no text area, this is the same for anyone who attempts to pm them too, only the ability to attach a file. Checked permissions and everything is right. what is causing this ?

I'm installing a clean version of the latest beta but when creating the db, i get the error: Access denied for user ''@'localhost' (using password: NO) I've defined the user and password on the form and I have no errors on the log files. Any help is appreciated.

Hi In member group I set limitation in signature for use of one image 300px by 100px maximum size. However the member is still able to upload a very large image as if its ignoring the size restriction settings. On the plus side it does only allow ONE image as per settings Any ideas how to fix this please? Thanks if you can help.

I've been using this software for over 15 years now so kinda know how it works, but I forget that new members will of course have no idea of all the functionality they can use. Is there a guide I can use to give them an idea of where to start, what they can do etc? There used to be a help page some time ago but it's gone now I'm sure! Thanks ☺️

I post several articles a day, some with pictures. Sometimes I use the same picture for a different story. Is there a way to be able to look at the images uploaded for articles and choose among those previously uploaded instead of having to upload again?

Hey guys, On my previous IPBoard we had a toolbar in the editor that looked like this... I'd like to get something like this again. Is there a way to download a new toolbar? If so, what are the steps for downloading a new one and installing into our new discussion board. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Recently in the last few weeks I'm getting this error "Something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX0" when logging in to my board. I'm logged in but I get this error and it shows me as logged out until I go to the board from menu. But, if I refresh the error page I get this error "The CSRF protection key did not match. This may indicate a plugin or theme is out of date. Please contact technical support for more information." This happens on default theme and I havent installed any new addons after this error started. Anyone knows?

As one of the people still stuck on 3.4.9 for the foreseeable future I recently made some changes to the recaptcha.php plugin to update it to Google's new v2 API. I hope this will help alleviate the recently uptick in spam bots a bit, and will also ensure that reCAPTCHA continues to work after the old API is shut down in March. This was done in a bit of a rush so I can't guarantee that my code is perfect or free of bugs (so no warranty etc), but I thought I'd share my changes anyway. Hi all, After the changes facebook made recently, the facebook login wasn't working properly on my site. I fixed it by making some changes in facebook app's settings and it now works. The issue now, is that all the users that have signed up using the facebook login, don't have a profile picture. I have added the latest patch "Facebook profile photos broken" as well via the Admin panel, cleared the cache but the issue persists. Hello guys ! I just updated my board to IPB 4 from IPB 3.4 (yes, I know), and everything seems to be working, except one thing. When I click on some forums, they show as empty, and when I click on some posts, I'm being told the system wasn't able to find the element I was looking for (error code : 2S136/V). Is it due to the rebuilding of the messages that has been executing for 2 days now ? Thanks !

Hi, I've tried inserting both versions of the code (javascript and iframe) from Facebook Developers portal to include the Page Plugin as a block within the site. But either way when I do it, this is what I receive - A blank widget space which does show the same dimensions for what I selected in the settings (180 width x 220 height). Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas? Thanks!

Anyone else run into this issue. When clicking on the compose new message the editor isn't loading (as Pictured) This seems to only happen when there isn't already an instance of the editor loaded. So if you are creating a new thread, or go to the actual inbox and reply to a message it will load correctly. This seems to happen randomly on the forum I try all the normal stuff to clear it up. Clear cached data clear browser cache Clear cloudflare cache Reset default settings on the editor. Usually it ends with me submitting a ticket and it gets resolved quickly but no feedback as to what was the problem so i can prevent it…

I am seeing in my error logs an issue with maximum execution time. To correct this issue I set the max_execution_time in my php.ini file from 30 seconds, to the php 7 default, which is 90 seconds. I have verified that it updated and changed. However, I am still getting the following errors. It seems to be somehow set at 30 seconds somewhere in the scripts. Any ideas? Hello, While running a conversion from phpbb to ipb 4.3, I am getting path not found errors. I am assuming it's php is_dir() permission's related. I am running: Nginx and php-fpm 7.2 on centos 7. I have followed the tutorial here on setting up IPB on nginx and mariadb. I am running the conversion on a new server so I copied the old site over to the new server but the old site is not live. Both the old site and IPB site are using www-data as the php user. I have given this user readonly and execute rights to the old sites full path /srv/http/domain.com/phpbb/* using setfacl. Dear all, I am getting a 'driver error' after im trying to login into my admin panel. the error says: i have tried to repair the ibf_sessions table through phpmyadmin, but the results give: and i looked into the error cache: i can browse my site normally, but cannot get into my admin panel anymore. i need to edit something in my boardIndexTemplate i wish i could do that through ftp.. only way is admin panel? appreciate any help. thank you

Hey guys, So we have been put on "probation" by our email provider due to our users marking forum emails as spam. So what I need to do is turn off all email notifications for every user and then make a post letting them know that if they want those emails to turn them back on in their notification settings. Where can I do this? I've found the settings for changing the default notification settings, but not for current users? Thanks!
