So i'm using Invision community 4.4.10 on the cloud, and am running into a couple issues that i just cannot seem to grasp properly.. *Disclaimer : I don't usually do this kind of work so am jumping in head first and learning as i go 😉 * So biggest issue that i can't seem to understand : Custom field posting on a license. Why this is needed : First time user uses their purchased license key, we would like to make our launcher send a value that registers with the key, and saves within the customFields of said licence to help identify the user in future uses. Hi, I have a forum that's about 13 years old and has plenty of content on it There's a really strange issue with it though If you click into an older thread that has many pages to it, the pages don't initially load unless you refresh the page (at which point the page and content appears) If you click the pagination to go to the next page it doesn't appear, but if you click refresh it all loads and appears. If you click back or next page the same thing happens. If you go forward a page it doesn't load until you refresh. After it's loaded (after refreshing) if you click back a page then forward a page it disappears again unless you refresh the page …

We're trying to send a bulk email. We have an issue on iOS's Mail app where a margin on the <body> is being added (it seems to ignore all <style> tags). However, I cannot seem to inline the styles because the bulk email editor strips it, even when I try to escape it. I realize that it says "Mail Body" but I'm using the "No Wrapper" setting so I'd expect it to allow me to post in a whole HTML email, not just the body's content. When I check the database for previous emails, I see that they have !DOCTYPE and other things like that (not sure how those worked) so I know it's somehow possible. Update: Turns out Google Auto Ads, adds advertisements into Cache in your browser. Even after you turn them off, they are still there until clear your cache... Moderators can remove this post if preferred. Used the Advertisement from the admin panel, and added a Google Adsense above the footer. Except now it also adding it below the header? Any idea on how to fix as it is really messing up my site.

I have upgraded 3.2 to 4.3 on the test server and encounter an issue that some users cannot login with their valid passwords any more. Another users can. I have investigated further and found one dependency: if user's password contains capital letters in it then user cannot login in 4.3 after upgrade. If there are no capital letters in the password the login credentials are still valid. Has someone encountered the same issue? Is it a bug or works as desired? I have over 280 000 users and would like to avoid mass changing passwords after upgrade. It is already "difficult" for users to use their display name or email instead of login. Hi there, I have NO idea why, but my word filter in the admin panel is not allowing users to type the letter X. It changes it to ***** I even set up a rule to get it to convert back to X, but no luck. I also tried deleting the 'xxx' filtered word (Google says it goes against their terms which is why it's there in the first place), but no luck. Any idea why this could be happening?

Hi there. Google is notifying me of bad words on my site. I am trying to clean everything up because it impacts site revenue. It's listing several Tweets that use bad words. I deleted the Tweets in the posts, but's also linking directly to the Tweet. For example, this Tweet was removed from the topic, but it still exists somehow on my forum. Can members login into an IPS powered site by using OAuth? I'm trying to understand this method, as I am seeking notifications to be made for my webview app so that users can get their own specific ones. If a user logs in with OAuth via the app, it can generate a registrationToken that can be used.

Hi Invision, Recently, the MultipleRedirect javascript (and CSS) has been modified: it now uses the CSS "content" property to display the MultipleRedirect progress label. However, it's a bit embarrassing, as we now can't display HTML in this progress label. The former method was simply using javascript .html() jQuery method to display this label, and we were able to use HTML. => Why such a change? Isn't it possible to go back to the previous method? Thank you!
