Hi there, we are trying to upgrade from 3.4.8 to 4.4.10. I set up a test virtual machine with a board, and followed this instruction: The new virtual host had the IP 192.168.160.132. For some reason I had to change the IP of the host and I picked 192.168.1.132 I then followed theses steps again, changing also the ip in conf_global.php: Open your conf_global.php file, which can be found at the root of your installations folder on the new server. Is there any way to list a content item in more than one subcategory of a database? For example, if I have a database with a category that is comprised of Subcategory 1, Subcategory 2, Subcategory 3, and Subcategory 4, and I'm posting an article to this database that's relevant to Subcategory 2 and Subcategory 4, how can I have that article listed in both subcategories? And if this isn't possible, is there any other way to achieve something similar? Thanks.

Hi, how are you? I have a doubt. They tell me that before users could upload photos to the forum and this compresses them to reduce the size of the image, now it does not. I am trying to create a NSFW button that functions similar to Spoiler button. Previously with customBB Code this was easier but now that isn't used, it is a bit more complex. I was hoping to simply duplicate how it is done with Spoiler, then just change the CSS to match what I want it to do. It doesn't appear that I can even duplicate the Spoiler piece. I'm going into the Admin Control Panel, Customization -> Editor -> Toolbars -> Add Button. Selecting Custom, I type in the name, choose a .png icon. Hello y'all. I'm trying to set up a series of menu links via the ACP and have to use external links for some of them. The issue I'm having, however, is that when I save them...they name lebels are invisible and they disappear when I publish the menu changes. Once I save it: And then when I move that same link down to the correct place: Fourth user link down in the list, it's invisible with no label. I don't understand why it's doing this. 😕

Hello! I am having a little trouble with the complete profile function. When a user fills out the first set of questions and clicks next, it takes them back to the main page and still says 0% complete. I am attaching a screen recording of what happens. Hello. I'm wondering... 1.) Is it possible to exclude a particular author from a Topic Feed block? There's only filters for including authors. I ask because I would like to show 20 threads created by me first, then 20 threads created by only members afterward. Otherwise, there may be duplicates from me in both blocks. 2.) Hi all, First of all, I just wanted to say how much I love Invision Community software. This thing has grown up a lot in the last 16 years! Second, I have been building out my community since January and think I have settled on a theme. It'll be a general community with the ability to purchase physical and online products. Hi there. I am a little confused about the Our Picks block. I can't seem to understand how to select content to display in that block. I see on the IPB Community homepage there's a carousel with picks. I would love to include that on my forum. The option is currently enabled in the 'Social Media Promotion' section in my admin panel. I couldn't seem to find a support topic on it. Any help would be awesome.

Does this include the Gallery or just post uploads? I can't seem to see if this limits the users uploads to the Gallery. In the Gallery tab, it only seems to be per image basis, not total. Thanks in advance.

We're running latest IPS (v4.4.10) and tapatalk plugin (v1.6.3) and it came to our notice that tapatalk users can edit their posts without any logging. No entry in the moderation logs, no comment underneath their post that it has been editted. If the tapatalk has moderator rights (or higher), he can edit any post of any user without any form of logging. Very unwanted behaviour and yes - I should probably seek for support with tapatalk, but they probably don't care as much as we/us/IPS-users do. At least, see it as a warning, but any help would me more than welcome. Can't wait till a stable production version of the IPS app is available...

When elasticsearch is enabled, entries in the activity stream are missing. It noticed that with gallery pictures where adding does not appear. Switching search index back to mysql gallery entries are back.

Hi guys. Matomo do not track AJAX page load as described here. For regular pages, the standard tracking code works fine. But, if a pop-up form opens (for example, "Contact US"), then matomo does not track pageview. Tell me what could be my mistake? Please help, thanks in advance.

Running through Google's search console, we noticed that majority of our indexed content returns an error. The problem being that our site was migrated from another CMS and it appears all pages which haven't been modified since that initial migration has a NULL database value for the modified date field. The result is that when the sitemap is built, it inserts an invalid lastmod date into the sitemap for that URL (1-1-1970) What would be the best way to go about resolving this? Would running a replace on the null values (with a recent date) be the best way?
