  1. You can view the code of the original error page and get access to the error codes so that you can display different specific content for error types by navigating to your theme, editing the HTML and CSS, and then navigating to core -> front -> global -> error. Unfortunately IPS doesn't provide a full list of the error codes, but a user posted a list in the thread below that you can check out.
  2. It would be nice to have general categories for the errors in order to use it on the error page as well. Such as one for all 404 types, one for all failed permissions, etc.
  3. Still no answer? 😞 I just had a few moderators (who had been members for years) blocked. It seems to have started randomly asking people to re-enter their email (which is what led to one of the moderators getting blocked). Something seems very wrong with Mail Bouncer at this point, and I'm going to have to disable it for now for fear that I'm losing customers/users. I hope it gets fixed soon.
  4. I noticed a few problems: I can't seem to whitelist certain member groups. For example, a moderator just got blocked (no idea why). I wish I could whitelist groups. Maybe I missed how to do it? When I tried to find that moderator in the list of blocked users, I sorted by "disabled" (date), assuming his would be toward the top (most recent). It didn't show up at all in the list. Then I searched by his username and BOOM, there he was. Something seems very wrong with the column sort feature. Is there any way to discern WHY a user was blocked exactly? I'm trying to troubleshoot this moderator who got blocked after years of using our forums.
  5. We offer our customers annual memberships at various levels. Example: entry level is $150/year and the next level up is $500/year. Currently, Let's say a customer purchased a $150 membership and then 6 months later, they decide to upgrade to the $500 one... Desired behavior: New $500 membership starts today, and customer gets a credit for the remainder of their active membership ($75 in this case, half of $150). So they're charged $425 initially for the upgrade. Great for business. Customer feels like they get a fair credit, and I feel like our business is profitable. Current behavior: The expiration date seems locked-in-stone, thus the customer's "upgrade" is prorated according to how many days are left. So if they have 3 days left on their active membership, they pay a tiny amount for the upgrade...and then 3 days later they have to pay again for the next year. This is confusing for the customer and it really hurts our business (we're losing the opportunity to push out expiration dates when the customer is engaged and motivated to purchase). The core problem seems to be that a fixed expiration date is what's prioritized in the current logic rather than re-starting the new/upgraded membership TODAY (when customer is upgrading), thus driving revenue for IPS customers and making things more convenient for the end users. Please provide an additional configuration option that uses this kind of logic (shifts the expiration date upon upgrade). Thanks.
  6. Esther is very knowledgeable about the IPS system, and she has been consistently doing work for us for quite some time (unlike some developers who are flaky and drop off the radar). If we need something changed or fixed, she'll figure it out. That "can-do" attitude is invaluable to us.

  8. I recently noticed that in 3.3.4 anytime the word "onStart" is used in a post, it forces the "S" to be lowercase even though I type it uppercase! Not only is this SUPER annoying, it actually causes massive problems for us because our forums are for supporting our software which has an "onStart" feature in the API, so anytime we provide sample code to users that has an onStart, it displays incorrectly to them! So if they copy/paste what we tell them in the forums into their app, it won't work because the capital "S" was changed to a lowercase "s"! Please....PLEASE correct this. If anyone knows how to fix this in 3.3.4, I'd really love to know.
