I looked in the Categories section of Downloads, I can not find a way to disable the Star Rating system. I want to leave the Review part on, where people can write and leave a review, but since I disabled Star Ratings throughout my forum, since 99.9% of people never used it, I don't need it to show in the Downloads section. Is this possible? Thank you.

Is there a way to get the stats in raw numbers as opposed to getting the graphs? I'd like to more easily track how many 'guests' are visiting the board and seeing the raw numbers would be easier.

The forum has a base of 2 GB. Temporarily a large load on the server. When publishing a topic, there is a big pause, so some people click "Publish" again. Duplicates appear. Can I speed up publishing in the settings?

Hello We change from old IPB forum to brand news IPS 4.4. When importing user database... eveything seems to work fine BUT we had one issue : all the users have now all 37 counts in their counter. Any idea why or how to reset all ? Thanks in advance Florian

I spent a good amount of time yesterday setting up new groups, I now have a total of 4 groups. Only the first group I had Signatures disabled. The other 3 groups Signatures is enabled. On my forum, Signatures are still being shown, but when you go to Edit Profile, if you are in 1 of the groups where it's enabled, the Signature field is NOT visible on the Edit Profile page. I even tried Enabling Signatures in the 1 group, so all groups have Signatures enabled, but when I went to Edit Profile, the field still was not there. Hey IPB fam, I want to upgrade my email template game for ALL emails being sent. That includes: Auto-responding emails, like when a new user registers, If they opt-in to receive a notification via email Or an auto-drip campaign (If there are any others, those too!) I want all of the emails to look uniform and branded to my website's color schemes, which is navy blue, two variants of purple, pink and white. So I set up a database where people can submit records and it acts as an application process, but my issue is the way its displaying the record. So our community isn't displayed in English but Hebrew. And we've had a fairly easy time translating pretty much everything we wanted. Even things with different grammar rules (e.g in Hebrew, you don't say "This has 1 comment" but "This has comment 1", while if you're talking about multiple comments, it remains "This has 12 comments"). But I have now come across something I can't crack. the "this many members have found this review useful". hello am getting this error during installation, I have uploaded the IPS files and then I try to install and this error am getting...my hosting admin said contact with IPS board. I am trying to do a test import to make sure everything will work properly when I do the live site. I keep getting this error: 2V101/A IPS\convert\_Library::process: imagecreatefromstring(): Data is not in a recognized format All paths are correct. I have tried importing 2 times now and get the same result. As soon as I start the importer it errors. Image processor is ImageMagick although I also tried GD. Same result. Database is UTF8. Any ideas what is happening and how to fix it.

Hi guys, We lost our webmaster some time ago and I have taken this task over. I need to transfer the whole site/contents/databases etc onto a new server. I have another domain i am looking at using for the test site before I risk losing the main live one if it goes wrong. I know I can use the test license but i don't know how to update it so my new domain uses it. I have downloaded the webspace contents and uploaded them. I have also downloaded the databases and made new ones. I have edited the conf.global.php information but no matter what i do it still redirects to my main live site. Any help please is appreciated.

Is there a way to use the opposite of this setting? We started sending email from our own sever and it has been a disaster. Many large email domains won't accept our mail, even though we pass SPF, DKIM, DMARC, rDNS, FCrDNS, etc... The only solution I can think of is to block people from registering with these domains.

Hi, After 3 ours searching for the location i hope someone knows this 😉 In the pages / articles there are comments. i want to add the Custom location keys for ads above or below this form. See the screenshot. Tried almost every location in the templates but can't find this place in the templates to add the Custom location keys Does anyone knows or can help me out about this location? Looks like a weird one. The IPB software ignore this form also when using ads after first post. Thank you!

Hello, I'm still wondering how it is that the BEST forum software still hasn't figured out how to INTEGRATE its forums into Wordpress nice and neatly? When one considers that 30% of the web runs on WordPress ... it ought to be a NO-BRAINER to have a seamless integration? Look at how XenForo has a nice tight integration? Hi Guys, I've been really annoyed with SPAM coming in through our Contact Us page. The one thing all of it has in common is the Russian language. I discovered that users of G Suite, myself included, can filter messages based on Russian characters in addition to many others. Here's the video I watched that shows how to do it. I tested it and it works beautifully.
