Promotion of my posts to Twitter suddenly started failing. So I removed my settings to try and link my Twitter account again but clicking “link your user account” leads to an error that says expected key not present. Can anyone help?

Hello, it appears elasticsearch stops randomly in the last 2 days making activity search etc. unavailable. Attached is my elastic log but I can't find anything wrong there. When I create a post I can normally share it by clicking on the various Social Media icons that were previously set up in the ACP however, I have noticed starting only yesterday that they all work with the exception of Twitter, now when I click on the icon I get this error - 403 Forbidden: The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Any advice would be appreciated?

We have 15-20 events every week, we create drive topic in the forum and add a link to the calendar for RSVP. We use drive topic purely for discussion related to that event, manage waitlist etc. If we use Calendar comment section to replace the drive topic in forum, will it overload the calendar system in terms of slowing the nodes or db or from any other resource handling angle....? Each drive topic receives about 200 replies in a week time. So each calendar event having 200 comments x 80 events/Month = 16,000 comments per month. Is it too much or nothing for calendar system....? Is it OK if we scale these numbers by double or triple in the future…

This option is nice, but not really usable. If enabled a new registrant has to add first and last name. There is no username (Display Name) field available. If he pays and the account is marked as paid, his forum username will be his first and last name. This doesn't makes sense because it is common to use fantasy names in forums, especially if the topic of the forum is adult or other sensitive stuff related. There seems to be also a bug, if you get a captcha window and make a wrong choice it jumps back to the start screen (choose existing member or new member) and all input data are lost.

In an effort to decrease the number of forums on our board, we'd like to add tags to the topics before moving them together. Let's say there are topics in the "Audio mixing" forum, we'd like to add a "mixing" tag to all of the topics. I am comfortable using SQL commands, but realized every single tag has it's own row in the "core_tags" table where tags can occurs multiple times, rather than the topics table pointing to a unique row containing the tag. So I believe this task includes more than just SQL hacks. Any idea how to accomplish this?

Hey all, So I disabled member titles in AdminCP, or at least so far as I can see, however I notice that those who created a member title prior to it being disabled, their title still shows. Is there a way to have the system remove them ? For example see below image Any ideas guys ? Many thanks, P

Hey, so in my menu manager I want to add a "menu" button that would actually serve a purpose of a direct download for a file. But there doesn't seem to be a way to do this? or is there? Closest there is that I saw is adding an external link menu that would redirect to a downlink link like mega or something like that. But my file is only like 5mb large, so I'd very much prefer for it to be a direct download from the forum itself. Guests also need to be able to download it without creating an account. Is there a way to do this? Thanks either way!

Hello there, I am currently experiencing an issue setting up the REST API on a test forum. The issue is that when I got to AdminCP > REST & OAuth and do what it asks me for I keep getting "The API endpoint is not giving the expected response. Check you followed the instructions correctly. The URL being tested is: https://www.testforum.example/api/core/hello" I have uploaded the .htaccess file it asked me to to the given directory(/api), I also have Friendly URLs enabled, I do not have index.php anywhere on the forum, however on the /api endpoint the index.php is needed inorder to access the urls. Is it possible to add custom messages to the Registration process? I'd like to be able to add a message that new users see at the start of the registration process, as well as another custom message included with the e-mail they receive to notify them that the account has been activated? Anybody have an explanation as to why this occurs and how to fix? You get when trying to install an application via ACP and I'm pretty sure it a privs issue. I'm getting it with member map but when searching I see it appearing in many different applications out of the marketplace. The exact error is 1C133/9 The application you uploaded cannot be installed because it is not a valid application, the archive is corrupt or the file and directory permissions in /applications do not allow it. When our customers sign up, they fill out a form with information our moderators need to fulfill their orders, but that information only seems accessible via the admin>nexus>customers>[customer]>Customer Information tab. The custom fields that output with the /nexus/purchases/ GET do not include these fields, but there does not seem to be a way to GET something like /nexus/customer/ according to your documentation. Here's the scenario I'm trying to automate for our forums. We regularly have courses that run overlapped but are separated into different client groups based on the course start dates. Each course start date needs a product and a group and I want to write an API Rest script that would take care of everything for us. An HTML form creates a DB record of a dated course that needs to be set up in the forums. Apparently (although Invision themselves have no record of this) emails went out over a year ago informing users that their older package would be 'grandfathered'. Today, with zero notice, our site is down. As someone who speaks at membership events and has recommended Invision many many times I am severely disappointed today. Hi, I have this issue where I create a two-hour event and as soon as the event starts the event is gone. If I create a 6 hour event the event remains (at least for a while) visible. The reason why this is annoying is when people a re a little bit late for the event, then they can't find the event anymore. I have looked in the Blocks and the scss sources. It seems that the time is set there and html code <time></time> is created. So I guess there is another part of the code using this to show/hide this block.
