Hi I attempted the upgrade today and got the error in the screenshot after which the site became unusable. Unfortunately the errors are not detailed enough to be actionable. I was able to revert to a backup. Would it be possible to get the steps needed to fix this so the upgrade doesn't fail? I've also updated the Stored Access Info in the client area. Using MySQL v8.0.22 in case that makes any difference. Thanks Alejandro

Hi All, When I go to the marketp[lace on the ACP, I get the following: "Currently, the Marketplace does not have any resources that are compatible with your current version of Invision Community. If you are using an old version, you will need to update to the latest version." I'm on the latest version, 4.6.8. Help!

Thanks Marc. I will I have another problem though. I've upgraded to 4.6.8 and signed out. I can't seem to recover the password for my admin login now to the forums. I think I changed the settings last night, to accept display name or email address. So when I try to login now, I'm always asked for an @ as it's asking me to type my email in. Thus, not supporting my username. How can I get this resolved, so that I can check the Temp Admin Account. Thanks Robert

Hello, I just upgraded my community to IPS 4.6.8 and enabled the robots.txt file from ACP. I can see it when i type domain.tld/robots.txt but i can't find it in FTP/public_html. It is not generated in that folder? Thank you!

Dear, If i edit a start post with a tag and a new title the author from the startpost is changed from a user to myself (admin). https://www.duken.nl/forums/topic/38627-protonmail-ervaring/ Happend two times now after the 4.6.8 upgrade. More info: User Mickey creates a topic "I NEEED HELP!" I change the topic to "I need some help" with a tag "help". The author changed to me and it is not created by Mickey anymore. For now i change myself to anonymous as poster otherwise it really weird for Mickey/ @ipb: support account is active

Hi Guys, is there any way to find more information about specific searches? 288 time per day my site has searches for the term exasound e28. This can't be a person. When I search this term, I get 489 results. The search stats say whatever is doing this search gets 0 results. Any info the helps me figure this out would be fantastic.

I've mentioned before I have group promotion and also using the new moderate content but I think there may be a bug that is hard to trace. all users start in Curious Group (registered with 0 content) that group has setting to moderate their first post. Once they have ONE approved post they are moved to the Newbies Group. That group had no restrictions on moderation and when they have 5 approved posts they are moved to Members. However a new user with that had 7 post still had content moderation enabled. So I am wondering if the moving groups at the same time a group threshold is being tested perhaps something happens where the user is promoted first and the mod…

Hi everybody, I have the following issue. In my community I have quite a lot subscribers who made a paid subscrition which upgrades them to an other group for a time period. Some of them made automatical renewal on paypal. Is it possible to create a subscription as a product in the commercial app and them merge all accounts to there ? The idea is that I wan't to give subscribers access to all downloads in the download app for free and for non subscribers charge an amount for a simple download. Is that possible ? Like seen in Invision's own card view: I'm pretty sure I saw another forum or two with background images as well. I searched the forum and using Google, and found one thread that said it can be done with CSS. (Is custom CSS preserved during upgrades? Hope so!) And other threads that requested this feature. So is there a way to achieve this from the ACP settings? Thank you! Hi, It seems that the links in thenotification e-mails my forum sends are broken. For instance : https://www.plongeur.com/forums/topic/66857-coronavirus-covid-19/?_se=amVzdXJhbGVtQGhvdG1haWwuY29t&do=findComment&%3Bcomment=1378140 ends up in a "we couldn't find that topic" page with error code "2S136/C". I believe this is since 4.6.6 update but can't be sur eas i dont personnaly use e-mail notifications.

One of my moderators and several forum members are having issues with posting in which the user gets timed out before their post goes through. They have reported a couple different pop up messages which I will attach below. Here is some information from the moderator on her internet connection: "I talked with tech support with my service provider yesterday, they are calling me back today to see if any of the fixes they suggested worked (they haven't). Hi, I've just seen when you upload one or more images into an empty gallery (maybe into a full one too), once the upload is finished you get back to your gallery but you don't see a single image you've just uploaded ! You need to wait a few minutes until the cache is refresh then you see your pictures... That could be a bit disturbing for users who do not know what a "cached interface" could mean... One of my communities was down for about 1,5 hours. As admin I got an notification message in the dashboard (but no mail) that there was a problem with my license key – which is perfectly valid, all invoices paid weeks ago. After revalidating the license key everything worked again. Question: How can I avoid this in the future? I got no notification mail from IPB or my admin dashboard – and I'm not checking all of my communities on an hourly basis. And with such incidents I loose money and trust from my members. Andreas

Since the beginning when Badges/Rules/Achievements first come out I created a couple rules based on subscription purchases. If a user purchased a sub and is active; it was supposed to award a badge and specified amount of points. However, this doesn't seem to be working. It seems to have stopped running for some reason as 08/15/2021 was the last member it awarded. Is there a way to run rules so it will pickup all members in that group? I have 109 Silver Supporting members that have purchased subs and are active: Badge shows that only 3 people have them: Here is the rule that I have setup:

Hi, We are having issues with our badge rules since upgrading. For example, we have 1 badge that is issued after 5 minutes of registering and it currently isn't being issued. We also have limited edition badges we ran for a period of time and the rules got paused, since upgrading all of those badges have been removed from members and we now have to manually reapply them. Is this is a known issue?
