I tried to upgrade from Beta 1 and it has a strange behaviour : - upgrade start, downloads and extracts the files then says manual action required, go to client area to download - when I download the Beta 2 files from client area and apply them, I click on Continue, nothing happens - I go then to /admin/upgrade it says 'There are no applications available to upgrade' - back to AdminCP Support, it complains that some files were modified (yes, the ones I uploaded because instructed to do so) - download the 'unmodified' files and apply them and I am back to Beta 1... Done this a dozen times on my test site. Something is wrong with this up…

Hello. I just noticed a bug in the source with (QAPage) Schema Markup. It probably appeared in 4.6.8. As you can see, all users are displayed as "Guest". User data is displayed incorrectly. I have a forum that has no "Read topics" permission for the guests. I would like the guests to see the forum and the topic titles, but not able to read the topic content itself. So, I have enabled Users without read permission can open forum? My board uses Fluid view: With this setup, guests cannot see the topics from the forum above in the topics list. They also do not see a forum itself in the filter box on the right side. I have expected the guest will see those topics in the fluid list, but when someone clicks on the topic title, then Custom No Permission Error will be displayed. After upgrading to versions 4.3 to 4.4.x, I had periodic problems with the ibf_core_output_cache table. Everything worked fine for 2-3 months, then this table began to increase dramatically and the server was terribly slow because of it, because there were many requests to HDD and it did not have time. I cleaned the table ibf_core_output_cache, started reindexing and everything was fine for a few months again. Then everything again. This Sunday I upgraded to the new version 4.6.8 (from 4.4.x). Everything updated fine, re-indexing ended yesterday. But now I see that ibf_core_output_cache is growing again, and noticeably faster than before. If in the morning the tabl…

Some members reported that, when browsing the forum with their mobile, an annoying black bar appears on the screen showing [home] in the middle. I couldn't replicate it until I installed Firefox for testing (members reporting this have FF installed), then it also appeared on my screen. Is Firefox not compatible with the IPS software? Also, when I'm using the Slimperience browser, my screen goes partly outside of my mobile screen, on the right side. Which browser, (excepted Google Chrome!) do you advice using? Hello there! I have been trying to enable Gift Cards for our Store, but following this guide I cannot proceed because the Store Page refuses to show any block like the "Browse Store" shown in the first image below with the 'Buy' and 'Redeem' buttons. This also does not appear to be a widget that I can add though the Page Editing Wizard panel, only options I have are shown in the second image below. All IPS systems are up to date, and we are not using any additional marketplace items here, though our site does use a slightly modified "Brave" theme by IPS Focus. Recently I have found that all quote links (on an arrow in the quote block) return not found, because they have content_class=undefined instead of content_class=forums_Topic: ?app=core&module=system&controller=content&do=find&content_class=undefined&content_id=2478&content_commentid=1100519 instead of this: https://www.nashtransport.ru/?app=core&module=system&controller=content&do=find&content_class=forums_Topic&content_id=2478&content_commentid=1100519 Are there any ideas why this is happened?

Daft question, I'm probably missing the obvious, but aside from manually promoting, how do people follow and get notified when I update products in Commerce? There doesn't seem to be a Follow option for Products in Commerce, I couldn't find anything in Notifications either. Scenario: I add a downloadable theme in my Commerce store, that people can buy. Later, I update the theme because there is a new version, via Store Products > My Category > My theme > Client Area Settings > Client Area Content (Upload my new version, update the description, changelog text etc). I've just filled it out three times, each time it said I'd receive a confirmation at my email account, but each time, nothing? And I checked the email address, and I've received other email at same in the meantime, SO?? Title says it all. I have completed the required steps to enable the API services with no success. The file ".htaccess" has been uploaded to the /api folder in my sites directory (/var/www/html/api). When I attempt to access this endpoint however I get the below error when clicking continue after. The API endpoint is not giving the expected response. Check you followed the instructions correctly. I've been meaning to write a post about this for years, but there is a real issue with the IPB search engine in the Pages App. It does not seem to be able to find, for example, an article headline when you cut and paste the actual article headline into the search. My users are having issues with the unread content feed. They read the content and then go back to the listing and see the "read" content is still there marked "unread". No matter how many times they view the content, it does not register as "read" until they log out and then login again. Is there a setting I'm missing that could fix this? I'm at a bit of a loss. Hi, I only have a payed subscriptors and I have a problem, when any user unsubscribe your plan they can continue to send messages to all forum users. There is not protected or I can't find any option to config this parameters. Another requirement about private messages should be that we can select who members group are permited to send. For example, only can send to administrators and moderators. Can you take a look if it is posible? Thanks a lot.

There used to be an ability to set moderators per forum or category by member group or specific members. I had a global moderator group and specific moderator groups for the different forums or categories that I want to have moderated seperately. I can't seem to find that feature or the ability to do that. With large communities, we have moderators to manage small categories or teams, etc. Its a feature of every phpBB version but it has been a longtime feature of IPS. Did it go away, or am I just not seeing it? If it did go away, where can I post a suggestion/feedback for the feature to be re-added?

Earlier this year, I had an image plugin on my site's editor that was beyond the basic one; it was either Easy Image or Enhanced Image, can't recall. For life reasons, my site languished for much of this year as my group all had other concerns to deal with. So a few Invision updates took place before we resumed working on the site in the last month and a half. As I've been trying to make tweaks to the editor, I've found that adding certain plugins results in erasing every button, both on the "holding" toolbar and the live one. Hi i was trying to disable newsletter and other notifications sending to our users to e-mails. Years ago and by small error some of users have in e-mail field some random numbers and other stuff. This is preventing us to efficiently send a nesletters and notifications causes mass of errors and once in a while causes blocking our smtp sender e-mail. (By provider) Thats why we want to disable e-mail notifiactons on that realy simple script to update records on database should do they thing.
