We are in the process of switching storage endpoints from local storage to S3 endpoints. As a first test, we encountered an error when switching the "User emojis" storage location. There was a message stating that another migration is still in progress, which was not the case as far as we can see. As a result, none of the "user emoji" files were migrated to the new storage location. After this error, new posts tried to use emojis at the new storage location (which did not have any emojis uploaded/migrated) while pre-switching posts still referenced to the prior emoji storage location. hi so i upgraded to ips 4.6 back in october and since then we've gotten occasional spikes to cpu usage tied to multiple sql statements being executed at once we just had one for 15 minutes today tied to these statements: IPS\Content\_Comment::getItemsWithPermission:232*/ SELECT COUNT(*) as cnt FROM `l IPS\Content\Search\_Results::count:532*/ SELECT COUNT(*) FROM 'core_search' this is what i could get from the process list, and the first statement showed up twice. while those were running, cpu usage increased from where it generally is under 20% to as high as 105% during the spike, effectively rendering my ips forum inaccessible. how do i keep…

Hi! For some reason, the automatic update on my Invision installation does not work (the FTP connection is impossible… 🤔). So each time I have to manually copy the files in full, because the link to download the updated files only does not always work. As a result, installing minor updates takes a loooong time, and is very painful, as I have to upload all the IPS suite files. In order to speed up the installation, is there a tool on the Invision site, which allows us to download only the updated files between 2 versions? Thanks a lot!

We have been having problems with our search module, which returns erratic results. Member search is not returning any results, regardless of keyword or filters used. But content search is working fine. Any ideas what might be the cause? We've looked everywhere we could think of for settings, but were unable to find a way to fix this. Thank you.

Hello, I deleted a few products from my website and a few made unavailable. I went to the approval queue of reviews, and when I try to hide, delete or approve reviews on products that are removed - it does not let me. It's still showing them in the approval queue and does not let me get past them. When I click any of the buttons, it simply redirects and says that it cannot locate the item that I am trying to view. Please fix this bug, by not displaying reviews in the queue that are of products that aren't locatable. Or allow us to actually delete them.

Hi For some reason the Next / Previous buttons (alongside the 1,2,3.4) functions are dead on my board. Nothing at all happens, when you click these. I just upgraded the board to the latest version, hoping that this was a bug - but the behaviour is still there. Does anyone know what this could be?

Hi I just manually upgraded my board. There are two things that I am wondering about: Overwriting your uploads folder erases all member attachments The guide states that "…upload the contents of the ips_xxxxx folder (not the folder itself) to your forum main directory, overwriting when prompted and making sure all files transfer without error." Now this includes the "uploads" folder. Overwriting this with the new empty one, will off course delete all the attachments from your members. We have two persistent Admin notifications that we cannot clear (see attached image), despite the fact that all of these functions are absolutely disabled in our php.ini file. My Developer says that this is a commonly-known issue with the IPS platform, but while it's certainly not the "end of the world", it is annoying to have false errors displayed, and tends to diminish the perceived importance of any real errors that might crop up. Is there any way to clear these?

Hi all, Our picks used to show picture and description which was great, but now, for some reason, it's showing just View all button. Is it possible that it's conflicting with some other block or advertising banner? And I also uploaded the default picture for Our picks, but I don't remember where in Admin panel I ddi it. Hello, I think there is a logical problem in the quick registration process. I am using the URL domain.com/register/?noPurchase=1 to allow members to register without purchasing any product. Well, I am logged in the website. If I paste the URL, it will prompt me to sign up. How is that possible? I am logged in, shouldn't it detect that I am logged in and prevent me from signing up again? See the screenshot below, that's what I see when I am logged in and I use the noPurchase=1 URL. Thanks a lot

Hi, its second time when I'm trying to add latest optional patch and every time showing me this error?? Its saying that I need to upload new unmodified files directly to the server- ok its not a problem, however I haven't change anything there. Hi all, I've been using subscriptions but recently wanted to offer coupons and discounts for these plans. I realize in order to do so they would need to be a renewable product rather than a subscription. Is there an easy way to convert existing subscriptions over to the renewable products? Hello, I've set several products for upgrading in ACP but there is no option for the user to upgrade when he visits the manage purchase page. There is no option for upgrade or downgrade, it just doesn't' exist. The manage the purchase page shows this: Inside the page, there is no option to upgrade. The products in ACP as configured upgradable as you can see below. I need help. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Hi Invision, In IPS 4.6.10, there is a bug with the Tags field and the Chinese language: it is impossible to validate a Tag, either by entering a comma, or by hitting the Enter key: PS: this issue was already present in previous versions of IPS. Thank you! Edit: This issue is present on Macs, under Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Not tested on Windows.
