Hi, Recently updated my forum, was looking at logs for the issue "Locked Task: queue", but then noticed that the logs are full of "Original image for 394 is missing, falling back to masked image" type errors, not sure why this is as I've not removed the images from the hosting. Can you please advise? My tasks are not running, I have them through a cron job on the server, do I need to do an other topic for that? Sam

I have already installed the core of Invision and the gallery. Now, I want to install the forum and it asks me for a licence. However, it won't take the one I have. What am I missing? Do I need an additional licence? Or is it a different one from the initial installation and if so, where is it? I did purchase both, the gallery and the forum already.

So far, I can see that one way to embed images from the gallery into a forum post is to copy the image address in the gallery and add that inside the post in order to have the actual image displayed instead of just a link. Is that the most effective way or is there a different way? I want to make sure that the same image does not end up to be uploaded twice.

Hi, After I update the login to be email address for login, simply I lock out from login, I put the recovery mode in the constants file, nothing help, I still lock out from login. Thanks for any help in this. Regards,

I know that if I follow a thread and someone replies, I get a notification. Since there are some sections that are for support, I would like to have a way to get an email notification whenever someone posts a new thread or even a new response in those threads/sections. Is there a way to set it up? Also, is there a way to automatically follow a thread you started or posted in without having to click the "Follow topic"?

I just installed the forum and it is a great time as I normally will schedule posts for the first of the month. So I did. I scheduled something for January 1st, 2023, but it is already showing, even though it is shown to be locked. For me, as admin, I see this: But for a non-logged in visitor, here is what is seen: So it is already visible in the forum and furthermore, it is also clickable for anyone. Am I misunderstanding the functionality of "scheduling topics"? Also, I was looking for a guide to the posting part (not the CP angle) so I can make tutorials for my members. Is there one?

Hello, We have a nonprod IPS installation with a testinstall license in a closed environment. It has access to internet, but it is behind firewall, not accessible from the internet (I think that is the requirement for the -testinstall licenses anyway.) Still working through a 4.7.2 upgrade sorry for the next few questions 🤣 Post upgrade the text field is collapsed, not just on the board, but in the admin cp as well. Wherever you should be able to type a text body, the field is collapsed and you can't type anything. Persistent issue on all skins. Anyone know a fix for this?

I'm (slowly, very conservatively) looking to transition an existing Wordpress site install into a migrated Invision Community CMS/Pages setup so that it is integrated nicely with my existing forum. Hello! So, I updated my community last night to the latest 4.7 release and now I can’t login to my community or my admin panel. When I put in my login credentials, I get an error that says it’s not secure submit anyway or go back. If I click submit anyway, it still doesn’t log me in. Just flashes and sets me back on the login page. I do have an SSL cert on my domain and I was able to login to run the update but since it finished I’m unable to login. Any ideas? Thank you!

I have not used the site in a while but my users still did. I wanted to refresh the site and start using it again but when I logged in it had an upgrade it needed. I started the upgrade and now it has a 500 error and I cannot log into it. When I logged into the client area to put in a ticket it says thats not part of my subscription so I guess some things have changed (I autopay it). Hello, I have my site https://uncrownedaddiction.com/ and it has been doing well for performance, but all of a sudden it started popping up with an error that says the following: Sorry, an unknown server error occurred when uploading this file. Hello, I am creating pages using a 3 columns page template. I've just learned that I cannot add new widgets in a three columns page template IF I add a separator. I want to add some blocks of information, then a header with some info, and then AGAIN three columns... then a separator (header), and then again three columns 😞 I just can't see how 😞 It seems that the pages application is limited to the following: a horizontal widget followed by 3 columns, then followed again by a horizontal widget Why can't I add 3 columns again after the horizontal widget? This is related to the whitespacing issue I posted about yesterday. Outside of banning a non-compliant member, what other options do I have to prevent the usage of a given app/browser that is problematic with IPS sites? The inconsistent behavior of the app/browser is simply not dissuading the member enough as sometimes it posts correctly, but other times it inserts 10 scrolling pages of whitespace and completely disrupts the readability of the site for everyone.
