Hi, its a bit bland of a decription title. However, what i am after is a plugin that user enters on registration or after registeration their username for a game and a platform. Upon this information, i have an api that would display said information, so i need certain bits of this information input to go on the profile of the user. I already have a file that displays the information required and a url specfic for it. I can discuss more in pm. Obviously this would be a paid job. Please pm me if interested or for better clarity.

I want to move from Invision Power Board 3.4.9 to 4.1.14.2. The one thing holding me back is how modified my IPContent section is. I had to buy Marchers Database Forms modification a few years back, which allowed for custom templates to be used in the IP Content Databases. It now looks like IPContent comes with a similar function built in, I just need the relevant code for displaying these records converted over. PM me if you are interested, I have a secondary website that has IP 4.x with IPContent running, so all testing can be done on a dev board.

Here's a cool app idea someone had for a competitor forum software (I won't mention its name): having a button, in the text editor, that adds a random attachment from the entire community or a photo or video file from the gallery to your current post. It would be called something like "Random" and it would attach an image file from the gallery folder or the attachments folder to the any new post of your choice. What would be the purpose of this app? Fun. It would be very entertaining for forum games. I personally think that IPB 4 desperately needs a plugin that shows the number of threads a member has under their postcount (in topic view, under the avatar). I mean, free scripts like phpBB and MyBB have this feature by default, for pete's sake...

I've never done one of these before, and I'm not sure how this works. But here goes... IPS say their pages application is more customisable than ever in 4.x, I want to put that to the test. What am I looking for? I am looking for a modern multiple selection field that can handle lots of different items (at least 90+), that can be easily used on both mobiles and desktops alike. Hi, we have several databases within our forum. Now we want to give the people a block/widget to show them the top posters within a defined database. Similar to the TopPosters widget in the marketplace BUT not based on forum posts. This widget should be based on the number of database records people added to a database. Any ideas or suggestions?

I'm looking for a plugin that will make all new registered members follow a specific account. Using the old myspace for example when you would join you would automatically be friend Tom. I want this to be used as a way to encourage members to increase their following by giving them one "on the house." per-say.

There is one thing I miss from xenforo and that is the ability to send custom notifications linking users to certain threads/announcements or anything else I please. I haven't seen a mod for this but if it exists let me know! If not I'd gladly fund something like this.

Since I needed to upgrade my Community to IPS4, I've been browsing the marketplace for hooks with features that could be helpful for me. I found out that some ideas don't seem to be covered by the community. I decided to post them here in case someone thinks it's worth the time and the effort. IPC Connect creates all accounts in the Members group. I would like to request a modification/plugin/app that maps usergroups. Ex: Member buys premium membership on site A. In the description of the membership, it says they will be a premium member on sites A & B. Member logs into site B for first time, is premium member. When membership expires, task detects "Members" group on A, on B, maps to Members. This can work with admin-defined group mapping. There used to be an addon for IPB 3.4 called Applications System that I used extensively for a while, and was hoping it would be recreated for IPS4. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case, or I suppose it's possible I just can't find it in the marketplace (I searched multiple times). I am looking for a way that I can build a look up tool that works like this: I select 1 from a drop down and then it gives me a-c in a second drop down and I can do this 5 drop down deep. I would like to see if this tool can plug into Forum builder and topic template system also.

Hello IPS, I am looking for a Developer to help create a very specific Customization for the Activity Feed on my website. Essentially I want a Plugin or App that allows Members to (Reshare) another Members Status Update. Similar to how you can Reshare a Facebook post. Using media tags on 3.4 I was able to achieve this, when someone posted a link to an item on Amazon it would include my associates tag. can someone please create this for ips4. I purchased the media tags for 4.0 hoping it would do the same and it sort of works unless 'display as a link instead' is clicked, then it just ends up removing the tag it just added Alternatively is there a way to stop the editor saying display as a link instead for this instance?

Hello, We have our forum using a 3rd party developer's theme. We have customized the theme via the theme editor, as well as through CSS (unfortunately not in custom.css) and some of the HTML itself. After upgrading the IP.Board software a few weeks ago we found that we had to also upgrade the theme itself from the 3rd party. We got about 90% of the modifications added, but we don't want to have to keep doing this in such a manual way.
